Also, I bought this for my husband because he falls often. I turned on fall detection immediately when I was setting up the watch. Since then, he has fallen twice and no SOS was sent and it did not ask him if he had fallen. I am extremely unhappy and it is too late to return it.

It turns out that the watch does NOT monitor blood pressure. This is an important fact that i think the salesman should have known.

My heart rate is almost never monitored and you have to shut off wrist detection to get notifications if you have a tattoo near the sensors. I would not recommend this watch to anyone with tattoos if you want something that actually functions.

While the Galaxy Watch 7 is able to function with tattoos, it may not function properly due to the way its optical sensors interact with ink. This potentially causes issues with features like heart rate monitoring; however, you can often mitigate this by turning off the "wrist detection" setting in the watch's settings to receive notifications even with a tattooed wrist. Also, depending on the size and placement of your tattoo, it may affect the functionality of your device more or less.
