The watch works great. Pair it was smooth. I had problems with it notifying me I had a call or message. The settings kept going back had do restart the watch then it worked. Besides that it’s holding up great.

    Awesome upgrade from fitbit

This watch has been an excellent upgrade from my old fitbit. The features are really nice and I love being able to customize what I use the most. It also works seemlessly with my phone and earbuds. The fitness tracker has options that fitbit does not and works much better than fitbit and I used fitbit for years. Also love the fact that this watch puts up with day to day use much better as well. Seeing how long samsung watches have lasted for husband is also why I decided to get one finally since fitbit watches have been progressively wearing out and falling apart faster and faster with each subsequent generation and their software has been increasingly buggy. I would certainly recommend this watch to other people.

Purchased this after accidentally running over my gen4 (RIP little buddy! I will miss your functional bezel!). Stock strap works very well. Battery life and responsiveness are excellent. The watch is considerably faster than it used to be, especially the exercise screen shortly after startup which otherwise used to take 30-45 seconds before it was ready, instead showing a placeholder GRAPHIC of what the exercise selection screen would soon look like once the watch was fully started. It was absolutely maddening. No more, though! I don't love the bezel rotation gestures, it's too easy for them to be misconstrued as a vertical drag from top and bottom, which brings up a few settings shortcuts. I've abandoned that completely and instead use individual left or right swipes. Love the YT music integration (that's our platform for streaming music) with ability to easily download hundreds of songs for offline listening. It's great for hiking/exercise without your phone, allowing for offline listening via BT headphones. Love the AI-generated replies to text messages...they are generally helpful and better than the stock hardcoded responses. Love the heart rate tracking and exercise tracking...it integrates very well with Samsung Health on the galaxy watch (no idea what the experience is like if you don't have a galaxy phone). Love the Samsung wallet features...not just for Samsung Pay, but also for library/gym memberships, allowing you to pull up your membership barcode quickly and easily to swipe in without having to pull your phone out. Love the Smart Things app to provide a remote control for Samsung TV's (we happen to have one in the living room, by chance)...convenient if you don't wanna get up to grab the remote. Probably the best endorsement I have for the watch is that after I accidentally ran over the gen4, I resisted the urge to immediately replace it and went for 2 straight weeks without one at all. It held out as long as I could before confirming the choice that, yes, given the choice, I would absolutely have a smart watch. Final recommendations: - take the time to customize your watch face, find one that has the info you like (for me its battery life, steps and temperature) - you can have up to 4 'quick select' exercises. Pick the ones you're most likely to do (I have walking, hiking, squash as my most frequently-used). - GET RID of the apps you don't want so that you're not swiping left/right through a bunch of things you will never use. Only keep the stuff you REALLY want quick access to...the rest can be accessed as needed via the main apps list (swipe up from main face). - work out which notifications you actually want sent to your phone. For me it's text messages and that's about it. - set up your work out modes so that you only get text notifications from specific people/groups/favorites (I forget how they're characterized), but I was tired of getting shipping notifications in the middle of a hike, thinking it might be the family trying to reach me. - commit to Samsung Wallet, get all those credit cards uploaded....it's very handy to pay via the watch (long press the bottom right button to launch). Very happy with the gen 7, would recommend!

I have to admit, I love the Watch 7 in its green color option. It's a stylish and functional upgrade that feels both familiar and new. While the design is largely the same as older models, the "green" color is a subtle, almost gunmetal-gray hue with a hint of green that looks sophisticated on the wrist. The performance has been amazing, lasting 2-3 days between charges, whether navigating menus or tracking workouts.

It works good for what I need. I use it to keep track of my steps and other health readings. I use it to read and send messages, control my music and much more. I charge it every evening for about a half hour. I went swimming with it several times to test out the water lock option and I didn't have any problems.

I love how light and thin this watch is compared to my old Gear S3 classic. Wear OS is great and full of useful features, OS is easy to navigate with the virtual rotating bezel. Workout tracking is fantastic and I love the fact that you can set routines and also it counts the reps and sets for you. Only downside is the band, the quality of it is not so good and it absorbs color from my jeans! Consider buying a separate set of bands with this watch and it's complete. 100% recommend it.

    Samsung watch life changer

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say—it’s the best smartwatch I’ve ever owned. Samsung has truly outdone itself, blending cutting-edge technology with sleek design and unmatched functionality. Design & Display: The Watch 7 is stunning. The premium build feels durable yet lightweight, and the rotating bezel is back and better than ever—smooth, precise, and incredibly satisfying to use. The AMOLED display is bright, vivid, and crystal-clear even under direct sunlight, making it easy to read notifications and fitness stats on the go. Performance: This watch is FAST. Apps open instantly, navigation is fluid, and multitasking is seamless thanks to the upgraded processor and improved software. I love how responsive everything feels, from answering texts to switching between workout modes. Health & Fitness Tracking: Samsung’s health ecosystem continues to shine. The Galaxy Watch 7 offers highly accurate heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, SpO2, ECG, and now even improved body composition analysis. The automatic workout detection is spot-on—I’ve never had a missed session, whether I’m walking, cycling, or lifting weights. Battery Life: Battery life is impressive, lasting around 2-3 days with moderate use and always-on display turned off. Even with GPS tracking and workouts, it charges back up quickly with fast charging. Software & Ecosystem: Running Wear OS with Samsung’s enhancements means you get the best of both worlds: Google apps and Samsung’s polished interface. Notifications sync flawlessly with my Galaxy phone, and being able to use Google Assistant alongside Samsung Health is a dream. Final Thoughts: The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 isn’t just an incremental upgrade—it’s a refined, powerful smartwatch that balances style, substance, and functionality. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, a busy professional, or just love having cutting-edge tech on your wrist, this watch delivers. Rating: 5/5 Highly recommend to anyone looking for a smartwatch that truly does it all.

It has a great battery life. The screen size is awesome. The overall watch it great. I've personally had a alot of issues with receiving calls and texts which was the main reason i wanted it. I even went through geek squad to see if they could fix the issue. It worked for 30 minutes then back to how it was before. I then called tech.support who advised I use my warranty replacement for another one. I'm still having the same issues. My wife has the galaxy 6 watch and has never had any of the issues im having. I like it for keeping track of my steps and otherwise a good watch.

    Excellent non-Apple option (casual user)

From the perspective of a non-Apple user, but someone who has also had experience with the Pixel/Fitbit watches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is an excellent choice. Let's talk software. The user interface is well thought out and smooth in navigating through the various screens and apps. There is zero lag swiping through the menus or switching apps. Once you have your favorite apps installed (from the Google Play store) you can set the order and even which apps are available directly via swiping the face of the watch. You can also set the long-press of the top button to go directly to a specific app (I picked Google assistant). As far as built-in apps for exercises, they're all there. Walking, jogging, running, HIIT, etc. You have the ability to select various watch faces with some having customization. Compared to FitBit/Pixel the watch faces available seem to be more useful (therefore, less silly ones, which is a pro/con depending on the user). I cannot comment on comparison to Apple Watch as I have not used an Apple Watch extensively. Messaging apps are there including WhatsApp. You can install Google Assistance if you prefer that over Bixby. You can select the default keyboard, which I noticed improved speech-to-text for messaging. You can also setup regular back-up to your phone, which is great if you need to replace/upgrade your watch at some point! A knock against the software is that I have encountered issues where my phone will receive a WhatsApp message and it will be minutes later before the watch receives it. It's not all the time and it may be strictly a WhatsApp issue, but it's worth noting. The hardware itself is quite good. The band feels premium and has not shown any signs of wear in two months I've had the watch (and I bought an open-box version). The watch body is aluminum and the buttons feel appropriately clicky. Finally, the sapphire crystal is nice and scratch resistant. If you work in a hazardous environment I would recommend a screen protector. After an initial learning period, the battery life is a solid 2 days with average use. By this, I mean that at the end of day 2 you will want to throw it on the charger. Thankfully the watch charges pretty fast and your phone will notify you when it's fully charged, which is a nice feature. Why not 5 stars? Aside from the WhatsApp issue, I like to keep an eye on my heart rate. Even though I have the watch set to continuously monitor my HR, there are many times I'll tap on the HR to see that it's actually giving me a number from minutes prior. It will take a frustratingly long time to update to real time again. Also, the GPS tracking seems to be a little bit off. Doing an out-and-back jog will seem to measure the trip out slightly longer than the trip back, which means you have to go a little further on the return trip to make it an even two legs. Lastly, the sleep measurement is overly positive. With Fitbit you can almost never get an excellent sleep score, but with the Watch7 even my worst nights I'm somehow always getting an excellent sleep score. That's not something I can really rely on. So overall, this is a great watch and for an average user who wants it to do everything pretty good, it's a great choice. If you're a hardcore fitness addict and need the absolute most accurate tracking, you may not be satisfied with it.

This is out of this world. Best features. It's so easy to use. Even with my difficulties of several chronic health issues. Display & features are excellent. Notifies you to keep moving if your sitting too long. Accurate information of everything it offers. You can put in your information to track medications, food and water intake, glucose level. Everyone should have one. It's like a doctor away for your doctor. The price is great too. I saved to buy this and it's worth every bit of my money. So any one can afford it. The best part fir me is that I sleep with it on and it is so so comfortable. This has helped me so must my sleep improved, energy level increaced. It motivates me to exercise. You can call text play music too. It's not heavy, it doesn't bruse my skin or irritate it which is a plus for me. I have sensitive skin and I'm wearing 24/7 for almost a month now. So soon as I save up/ get money I'll purchases two as gift for my relatives. # 1 help for healthy life style.
