I really like the watch alot but what everyone is saying about the battery life is true. I don't use it often, i don't even respond to text messages on the watch and its not on always on display. The battery life at minimal use doesn't even make it to two whole days. Im super disappointed in that because i like to keep it on over night for the sleep information

I had to return this watch because I was not aware there was two different versions, one is a Bluetooth version which only works off of Wi-Fi The other is a cellular version which works off of phone lines. The description should be much clearer for people that are not tech savvy especially when you're ordering online

The only reason I went to the Galaxy Watch 7 is because Google unwisely decided NOT to continue supporting the Fitbit to concentrate on the Pixel. I had the Fitbit Versa 3 and it was user friendly, had much better battery life than the Watch 7, and much better clock faces to choose from. And was not as costly!! I wanted a watch that showed the time and alerted me of incoming phone calls and text messages. I do NOT need all that other stuff on my watch - it's already on my phone. And the Watch 7 doesn't alert you of e-mails. You only know if you've received and email if you happen to look at the watch for the time and and see the little orange dot that indicates an email came in. Why do they always seem to want to fix what's NOT broke - and make it more expensive?

Salutations Andy, thank you for taking the time to share your sentiments with us about your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Watch7. We appreciate your thoughts as we strive to make improvements with the functionality and design of our product line. Samsung Health measures your heart rate using lights and sensors located on the back of your watch. But you’ll need to make sure you're doing things properly to get the best measurement results. Check out the following information:
      * For a mid-workout measurement, take a brief break before taking your heart rate.
Take measurements when seated and when you are relaxed for the most accurate reading.
      * Do not move your body while taking heart rate measurements. Doing so may cause your heart rate to be recorded inaccurately.
      * If the measurement is very different from the expected heart rate, rest for 30 minutes and then measure it again.
      * If your heart rate is extremely high or low, measurements may be inaccurate. Wear the watch snugly above the wrist. Do not fasten the watch band too tightly. Avoid attaching third-party bands to your watch, and only use the band included with your watch or a Samsung-approved band specifically designed for it.
      * Measurements may need to be repeated at least five times for the most accurate results.
      * Remove the protective plastic from the heart rate measurement sensor before taking measurements.
      * If the heart rate sensor is not working properly, wipe the sensor, and adjust the position of the watch to sit above your wrist.
Feel free to review, "Monitor your heart rate on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may impact the accuracy of the heart rate monitoring feature. Let us know if you would like any further assistance afterward by contacting Support. Thanks for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

Worked fine at first. Now, nothing but inconclusive shows up! I've reset and installed as a new watch. Still, inconclusive. It cannot come up with that reading all the time. Purchased on 7/25/2024 as my doctor recommended me to get a watch to monitor my heart rate/afib. He DID NOT suggest this watch.

We appreciate your feedback as we strive to be innovative and improve the design and functionality of our products. In order to utilize the ECG feature on your device, a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Android 7 or later and the Samsung Health Monitor app is required. Here's how you would measure ECG: > From Samsung Health Monitor, tap ECG. > Rest your finger lightly on the Home button to begin the ECG. * After a moment, your ECG is displayed on the screen. > Tap Add to add any symptoms you are experiencing. > Tap Done when you are finished. Without having more information available regarding what you may be experiencing with your feature and without being able to ask you any follow up questions to probe further, I suggest reaching out to Samsung Support if you would like any further assistance and/or help with troubleshooting your device. This Galaxy Watch 7 is a really good addition to my S24 Ultra; however, the battery is so terrible, i almost wamt to return it. Why wouldnt you make a watch that lasts 24 hours? I'm supposed to be charging my watch in the middle of the day? At night when I sleep? Why would you have such great sleep monitoring if you have to charge it while you sleep? Absolutely terrible. My FitBit watch lasted days without needing to he charged. Ridiculous.

Honestly moving from a apple watch to a Samsung was not a good experience. The Apple Watch just has features that this does not and I don't like the difference in being able to customize the Watch Face or a few other settings that differ between the two. I have since switched back to IPhone and the Apple Watch.

This is the worst Galaxy watch I've owned (I've had 5 of the 7). The battery life is horrible, sleep tracking is the worst I've seen on a smart watch and notifications are hit and miss whether or not they go through the watch. Using with a Galaxy S25 and it still sucks. Would not recommend this watch to anyone.
