I wanted to get the latest fitness/health monitors available. I also liked the case of the watch 8 over the watch 7. with trade-in value of old watch, the upgrade was very inexpensive. Also, the Bestbuy staff was excellent.

The battery is nothing to write home about, I have to charge every night. It will not last 2 days even with a conservative watch face that is off most of the time. Still good, still love though.

It does need to be charged nearly daily but charges quickly. This was an open box item. I never would have the box had been opened. everything was perfect.

It has more features my my samsung watch 5 for sure. My main comment is how when I use talk to text it often sends before I'm done so I am unable to fix typos. So fixing this texting feature to not automatically send after I type or say something would definitely improve my experience.
