I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 4, also BT and 40 mm, and the difference is clear. The actual screen is reasonably bigger as the bezel is really small. Battery life is around 36 hours, which is ok, but I knew this going in. Charge it while you shower and because the new charger is faster, you'll get a decent charge to last all day and night. Where it stands out from competing options is that you get detailed information of measurements and sleep without having to pay a subscription. Samsung health and Health Connect allow you to access the watch's data in different platforms as well. It integrated and connected seamlessly with my S23. I love the silver version, it looks very nice. I did add a screen protector and a case to protect it from cosmetic damages and the accessory options out there are good (not as ample as apple but you definitely have a lot of options to choose from). I love the new band system, its so much easier to swap bands. If you have a lot of bands from the older system, you can get adaptors so you can also use old bands with the new watch. The new labs measurements of cardiovascular load, AGEs and antioxidant index are cool, but I don't feel they are enough to justify by itself an upgrade. If you have a Samsung phone and you have no watch or a very old model, I do feel it is worth it.

I absolutely love my watch it has everything I need I love when I wake I see the time, weather, and date all on my screen at once. I like when someone calls I can answer on my watch and hear them clearly. I like I have the option to change my watch display to my liking. I like that the watch keeps track of my health including sleep, steps, and my heart. I like that my watch is comfortable and easy to put on my wrist. I like the fact that my battery last me a few days before I have to charge it again. Samsung has a nice durable and good quality watch I love all the features it has.

Slimmer than the 6 and faster. Battery lasts much longer and the bands have a new mechanism to take them on & off faster. Overall, super happy upgrading from the 6 to 8.

I upgrqded my Samsung watch to get the new health features. I like that it is checking for afib, but it does so much more. I was especially impressed with the sleep monitoring. It records your heart rate and snoring and sleep cycle. It even checks your antioxident level. Very happy with this watch!

Love my new Galaxy Watch 8! I had a 3 series for a LONG time and finally upgraded. This thing has awesome battery life and flawless operation/function. Very light weight compared to my old one also.

Having been a loyal 5 wearer I was excited to make the move to the 8 and I was certainly not disappointed. From the first moment I put it on I noticed that it was lighter and had a better fit on my wrist. The tended to roll toward the outer part of my wrist and I always felt as if I was centering it. Not the case here, it sits right where it should. The screen is bright and clear and it reacts super fast. With smart switch there was hardly any set up. I have had it for a bit and I do not regret my purchase for a minute. This version also give you more ability to use it... that is Gemini is on board and with a press of the side button is ready to assist, texts and emails are much eaiser and all.of the added health functions are amazing! The battery is also much better than my older model. This was a solid purchase and I highly recommend it, especially if you have an older Galaxy watch like I did.

I recently switched from iPhone so I had to also switch from my Apple Watch. I was torn between this and Garmin but wanted full phone capabilities. I had heard the battery life wasn't great on the new Galaxy watches but I've had no issues. My Apple Watch used to be dead by the end of the day where this one is typically at 65% by the time I take it off. I don't wear it overnight because I have an Oura ring but I'm sure it would last no problem! Plus I like the look a lot more than my Apple Watch. My only complaint is that the keyboard is a little laggy when sending a text.

Great watch! New look is amazing, screen looks nice and bright, very good resolution. Battery is good for 2 days using the watch all day long including when sleeping. I bought for my wife, initially we got the 44mm and turn it back for the 40mm. That size is more comfortable for her. I attached a picture next to my 47mm Ultra.

Watch is sleek and light weight. This was an upgrade from a Galaxy Watch 5, and the backup transferred smoothly. The health tracking does an amazing job of keeping me informed. Very pleased.

OK battery life (can't have on all and all night without charging). Replaced the wrist band, stock one didn't work for me.

Good watch i like that it will now do blood pressure. Wish you coukd track food with a picture. Expensive watch cheap band

Great watch. I've had it for about a month. I love Samsung Galaxy watches since I'm able to track so much in one place. I can tell the accuracy is off when it comes to distance when I'm on the treadmill. It's usually off by about a quarter of a mile when I go multiple miles and about a tenth of a mile when I just go a mile. I don't like that I can't set up routines solely for the watch. It keeps wanting to sync with my phone which is on silent 100% of the time. My last watch was the 5. The battery life hasn't improved at all which doesn't help on days I'm very active. On a day I used it for 24 hours, very active, and did sleep monitoring, by the next morning it had 20% battery life left. It's fully charged in about 30 minutes, but it sucks it won't last more than 24 hours. I like the new tab format and how each tab has a category label.

I love this watch. Fits comfortably. Glad I upgraded from the galaxy watch 4 to this one and great battery life!

I love this watch. It counts my steps and I can toggle bluetooth settings with it. You can save different clock skins. It measures the weather too and yoh can easily tap it. If its on wifi it does die faster, usually have it on power save mode lasts a little bit more than a day. Great additoon to my andriod phone.

Works great! I enjoy the functionally and how it works so far.

So far I am really enjoying it. The battery is decent and will last the full day but I usually try to charge it before bed so I don't need to charge again in the morning. The fit is nice. At first I got a rash where the band clasps but I started washing the band daily and i haven't had an issue since.

Love this watch. Came from galaxy watch 3. Amazing features! Battery life is amazing also.
