I am upgrading from a Galaxy 6. I was really happy with the amount I got for the trade in. It wasn't a huge leap in technology, but it has many small improvements that made the upgrade worth it. The overall design is better. It feels more comfortable on the wrist and is flatter. Battery life seems a little better. Speakers are very good. It comes pre-installed with Gemini where you press a physical button to activate it and instantly pops up.
It's like wearing a mini-computer & health monitor

This watch is a little big, but I chose this size for the battery life. So far, I am liking it. I can monitor my health as well as answer my phone, find my phone when I absent-mindedly misplace it, get reminders to get moving, check weather, etc. Too many great features to list here. The only downfall is that I do not have a Samsung phone, so some features are limited. Still, I am very happy with this watch.

The Galaxy Watch8 (44mm) is a standout Android smartwatch — elegant, powerful, packed with health and fitness tools, and a dependable daily companion. If you want a capable smartwatch that marries style with functionality (and don’t mind charging it every day), this is a fantastic choice.

This is an excellent watch for users that want quality and a simple, minimalist look and feel. It's perfect for everyday use and has a lot of sensors and health features. I would recommend this product to any Android users (especially Samsung users).

I came from an Apple Watch Ultra, which was always too heavy and bulky for my wrist. The difference with this Galaxy Watch 8 is night and day! It's so comfortable and light that I barely notice I'm wearing it. The design is sleek, and I'm really happy with the battery life, easily getting over 2 days on a single charge. Very glad I made the switch!

I love my new Galaxy Watch8 44mm, it does everything I need and more. The transfer from my old Watch4 44mm was seamless and took little to no time via Smart Things app. There are so many different faces I can install and utilise to change what I see every time I look at it and the battery is a huge upgrade on this, higly recommend grabbing one of these as soon as you can.

I purchased the Galaxy Watch8 44mm Blue Tooth Watch. As I get older (I'm 67) and I want to do a little bit of monitoring my basic health such as pulse rate when I am doing things as well as Oxygen level as well as some sleep issues. I'm relatively active, biking and playing non-contact sports. I'm not interested in being connected to the world of things, so basic readings and time are what I use most of the time. I have set my settings to be minimal and get up to 4 days of battery life. I prefer the bigger screen. The information fits better than the 40mm screen.

Samsung watches keep getting better and better. With a brighter screen, comfortable band, better battery, I could not ask for more. It's tracks your exercise activity and I like to answer the phone with Blue Tooth.

Great watch. Upgraded from the 7 and I can't be more happier. The new squarish design I didn't like at first but it has definitely grew on me. Such a nice upgrade. If you have a Samsung device, go with this watch .

Was time for an upgrade from Watch6. Overall wasn't much of an upgrade. It does have a better battery life but it is larger than the 43mm Watch6. I wish it was 43mm, this doesn't fit my wrist as well and I wouldn't want to go to 40mm. The screen is an upgrade but we lost the rotating ring. That's criminal.

I got this after having a Watch6 for a couple of years. The improvements are noticeable. The new design is both functional and stylish. I seem to get more consistent readings now that the watch lays flatter on my wrist. I like the stacked widgets. Makes it easier to see more items at a glance or launch apps with less swipes. Battery life actually goes for 2 days now without a charge. We'll see how long that lasts.
A bit pricy for the upgrade and the new band system is a little annoying. I basically have to dump a bunch of old bands since they were 20mm and no one makes an adaptor for them to convert, Probably needed fresh bands anyways.
Overall satisfied with purchase.

I personally love the new design and battery life is solid. I use the watch for notifications, messaging, calls and general fitness so overall the battery life has been solid but still needs a daily charge. The OS is quite smooth in my experience and better than pixel watch is stability in my opinion and experience. Design is subjective as some may dislike it and some may like it. I like it but only thing missing is a rotating crown that pulls up an app drawer and other functions.
I would recommend this to a friend

I only ever had apple watch before this. And by far the galaxy watch is a lot more comfortable the screen is the perfect size and elegant. I personally love the running coach feature and it has helped me stay motivated. I am up to 8,000 to 10,000 steps. Before only about 3,000-4,000.

Nice watch. So many functions.
Very nice for tracking heartrate on my hikes and actually plotting my path on the map!
I especially like that it recognizes and keeps track when I go swimming.
