However, that feature isn't allowed in the US. They also told me to take it in to my cell phone carrier to get the free included wifi, it was a in app install. I don't find the watch all that special and honestly to use the features is not all that user friendly. It did have a cool screen option, so there is that. In the drawer it goes since its past the return time frame.

To increase the strength of alerts, alarms, and vibrations on your Galaxy Watch8, navigate to Settings > Sounds and vibration to set vibration intensity to "Strong" and duration to "Long". Also, ensure notifications are not muted, check that do not disturb modes are off, and set notification vibration to a noticeable pattern. The most common way to toggle features on or off on your device is to utilize the Quick Setting Panel, however, your Settings Menu is recommended for specific features. But the 2 free years of Google-fi didn't work for text messages. I had countless calls and emails to Google-fi. I even called my cell phone provider. I finally took the watch back in to Best Buy and stayed there an hour while the tech and the manager tired to fix it. No one was able to. Finally, the manager waived the restocking fee and allowed us to return them for the Bluetooth versions.

To take advantage of the Free 2 years data and texting included promotion through Google Fi, please update your watch, when the update is available, in the Galaxy Wearable app. Then once your device has been updated, please open the Galaxy Wearable app, navigate to your watch settings, then to mobile plans, and finally Setup mobile plans. *Google Fi phone plan not required. No changes to your current phone number or plan required. 4G data speed is included with the offer up to 500 MB per month, after which usage, data will slow to 256 kbps. Data will be capped at 1 GB per month. Voice calling over LTE is not supported. Hope that helps! Nice Watch- Mediocre Battery Life
