The camera on the z flip is pretty mediocre. It often produces fuzzy shots. But the worst part about it is the talk to text feature. I assumed that feature was pretty standard across all phones given the age of the application. However, that is not the case. Talk to text is only functional if I speak very slowly and over enunciate. And even then is usually only half correct. Also, it is in no way intuitive like the pixel. I absolutely regret spending double for a phone that produces half the functionality. On a positive note, it folds in half.

No good on TMO

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got one from the carrier I'm with but I wanted the grey one, so I brought this unlock one, and for 2 days I have been on the phone with TMO, and samsung and neither could fix the issue. Sam finally said it may be a defective phone but they doubted it because they had me do some deep technical troubleshooting. Samsung blamed TMO, TMO blamed samsung but the TMO branded one I have works flawlessly no issues. So at least for TMO, I wouldn't buy this unlocked phone!!!!!!!

The screen is really vibrant, the snapdragon 865+ chip is really nice to have on this phone. I had the pleasure to have the lte model which was nice but to slippery now the 5g model is matte finish and not slippery also I noticed the bezels are thinner on the 5g model you also get wifi6 and ufs 3.1 instead of the 3.0 on the lte model. So this version is worth the upgrade.

I struggled a bit droping the extra $$ on the Samsung but Im glad i finally did. The phone is great and is exactly what i expected. I knocked it down 1 star because of the crease/bumps where the screen folds. when you open the phone new in the box the bumps are not there and its as smooth as any other display. After closing it 1 time the screen no longer has that and has a small indent 1/4 inch or so where the screen folds. It doesnt affect it working its just a bummer to run your finger over it or notice it when the screen is off.

That was a month ago. It's going back to Geek Squad today because now camera won't work. This is a $1000 piece of junk!

I really did not like it. I have an iPhone but I use nothing but Samsung before I switched to iPhone. I didn’t get any of my text messages they all went to my old phone which was kind of weird since my old phone didn’t have service anymore. I couldn’t figure things out and didn’t care to. The screen was super long. I just did not like the phone overall and went back to my old iPhone.
