I originally had the original gear and had a malfunction so my warranty made it to where I got to trade for the gear 2. The upgrades are great and everything works wonderfully! I was very half with my experience with customer service and how smooth it was to trade in and get a new product.

Looks good easy to use easy to set up. It stays charged for about 2 days. I javent had nuch time to play with some of the apps.

The watch seems pretty useful for work out monitoring. It lacks some rather useful tools though. Bad-Can only view pictures taken by the watch. Camera is obnoxious cause you can not turn off the shutter sound. Can not watch media from my phone Good - Very nice heart rate tracker Very useful seeing who is calling on the fly Over all rather useful and so far good quality

Let's me know if I need to check my phone or not instead of always pulling it out and the pedometer works well

Big improvements all the way around with battery,style ,band interface.

Had it for 3 days liked it but did not like the price $299 .Took it back and got me the Samsung Gear Live which to me is so much better for $199 cause it runs with Google Android wear. Since I had both Gear Live is the best from Samsungs Smartwatches. I would recommend picking what's suitable for you but in my opinion Gear Live is the way to go because of it's potential.

My wife got me the Gear 2 for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I get all my notifications including email, texts, calendar events, Evernote, Google Now, Wunderlist, and more. It has a heart rate monitor, pedometer, the weather, S voice, voice memo and more. I downloaded apps to see all my evernote notes, news articles, a calculator, a real keyboard for text messaging, and the camera works great. It actually takes fairly good pics and has a 15 sec video recorder. It helps me locate my phone. I can store music and pics on it. It also has a timer and stopwatch. Very well built and works perfectly with my Note 3. Not sure what I'd do with out it now. I can make and receive calls and a ton more. Each of these features have worked great so far. Battery life is about three days per charge. I use my phone half the time now. I just love this thing.

The Gear 2 is a great improvement over the previous gear. I like how tbey mived the camera from the strap to the watch itself. The heart monitor and the exercise and sleep monitor is great as well. Some more improvement on the software and it will be almost perfect. The price is a bit steep and the charging module doesnt stay on the watch as well as when I first purchased it. Battery life is a great improvement, but it needs to last longer.

For the money, go for the Gear S. More features & great screen.

I didn't really find this product useful for me so I returned it within the 15 day period allowed for returns. Probably better suited for a younger person or someone not already retired. Just sayin'. I would recommend this to others because it would probably workout great for others. Thanks.

great watch, i had my doubts at first but i've changed my mind since then. i use it a lot at work, i'm in the refineries, and in most of them you cant be on your phone. so now i can text my wife back to let her know i cant answer my phone at that specific time. only thing i would ask is to actually have the real icons instead of the white icons

I like all the features the camess is great and the phone works perfect it was a great purchase.

definite improvement over the first generation watch. Haven't noticed any reduced battery life.

This watch is very nice and easy to use and set up, also takes great pictures and waterproof.

Got this after I got my new S5. It links great and I can see almost everything on it. The main issue I have is that you can't share pix from it and that the message feature doesn't have a keyboard. You have to use a different app just to be able to text from it. All in all, I love it and hope they work out some of these issues.

this watch is pretty cool besides it being too big

This watch is fantastic - just need a few more improvements......I would like to be able to create more templates for texting people......having 5-6 templates is too few to work with since I use all of the templates but would use more if I had the ability to do. Another thing I would love to be able to do is watch LIVE TV on it and also video chat via Skype or a similar video calling app (Oovoo, etc).

The watch works as advertised. The battery life is great. I can't live without it now.

Bought this as a gift for my bf, something that he was truly not expecting and completely loves! The voice quality when using the watch as a speaker phone is very good. As the person on the other end I was not aware I was on speaker. He loves that he can track his steps and see when he's most active. And I love the fact that he can sms back quickly while at work without taking his large phone out

I had a gear 1 when they went on sale and decided I liked it enough to try the gear 2. For me it made all of right improvements over gear 1. The battery life and speaker phone is a lot better. The ability to change bands makes it easier to use in any situation. The only thing I miss from gear 1 is the watch styler app.
