Great fit gear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gear works great and does what I need it to do. Only disadvantage is that the battery lasts only for 2 days. I always have to remember to charge it. Great to alert me on calls, text and appointments. Makes me more efficient. Wish I got the one with the phone so that I could answer the phone also. The phone one was a bit to big for me.

Great basic fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched various trackers and decided on the Gear fit. It works great with S-Health and I like getting notifications on my wrist. I wish the battery lasted longer (need to charge every1-1.5 days), sleep function was automatic and the heart rate function was more accurate. If this was fixed, I would give it 5 stars.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the Samsung Gear Fit for Christmas with the hopes of motivating myself to move more. It's awesome and makes it fun to challenge myself to just a few more steps each day. The Fit is easy to use and set up. It's great for notifications too. Haven't used the sleep function yet. Haven't had any issues with it staying on my wrist and honestly that was my only concern before purchasing it. I recommend a screen protector.

Works well get it on sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife wanted an activity tracker but not a full smart watch. BB has this on sale for $99 and it's a great deal. Synced right up with a Galaxy S5 and a Galaxy S6, vibrant screen, easy to use, notifications work well, pretty accurate with steps etc. All in all if you like Samsung you'll like this.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is so easy to use. Hooked right up with the gearfit app on my phone. Wish it had an aerobic function. Also wish it hooked up with myfitnesspal or had a food counting application in the gearfit app. Otherwise it does everything advertised with ease.

Perfect for everyday use to athletes!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product for my mom for Mother's day and she loves it! Easy to use, even though the sales associate said if we needed help working it, we could bring it in. I initially went in to Best Buy to purchase a fit bit, but the Samsung Gear fit, is just as light weight, but with a much clearer screen. Not to mention along with the traditional sleep monitor, heart rate monitor, and steps tracker, it also as a quick response to texts function! I highly recommend this product and plan to buy one for myself.

Good complement to my Galaxy Note(s) phones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've received several complements on the sleekness and good looks of this watch. However, my main reason for changing from a FitbitHR to this watch was for the heart rate functionality when I'm doing cardio rehab for a heart condition. The good news is the ease of seeing a current heart rate by simply raising my arm to look at the watch. It's a little hidden in the menus, because selecting "Heart Rate" just gives me a single reading. To get the constant readout, I go into "Exercise" - "Walking", then the readout is constant until I tell it the exercise is complete. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that when doing vigorous workout (I'm actually in a horizontal bike with arm levers rather than walking) the readout is often doubled rather than actual heart rate. I've cross checked these higher readings several times, and they seem pretty reliably double the actual rate. It's still a little disconcerting to see a pulse reported in the 180 to 200+ bpm, but it works better for me than stopping to manually take my heart rate then continuing to exercise.

Like an Apple Watch for $179
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is really a fit bit that syncs with your Samsung phone and S Health. But it also sends alerts for email, texts, calandar etc.y favorite health use is to change songs from the Fit and not pull my phone out while jogging. It's a lot for $179.

Excellent device for a Samsung users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was joining a company walking team and am already a die hard Samsung user. This device fit like a glove and was the perfect companion piece. Now during meetings I don't have to look at my phone for emails and calls. Same while exercising. Just love it.

The pros and cons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I've had the gear fit for a few weeks and I am still loving it., the heart beat sensor works as a pretty good approximation of the real thing. so far I've been able to tell when my heart is speeding and what I should do to relax and readjust. Sadly I don't have a samsung phone, I have a tab3, and it is not compatible with the gear fit. I have not been able to explore all of the possible options but I do like what I see. Can't wait to upgrade to really make use of all the apps and information this tracker provides

Loves It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a Mothers Day gift, and my wife loves it. Especially the notifications for her Samsung. She doesn't always hear her phone and this does a good job for that. She's still learning all of its functions, and its a little large for her small wrist, but still very much enjoys it. One of my best gift choices.

Excellent product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this product 3 months before buying. The display was perfect size especially if you change the orientation to vertical. The ability to read emails and text on my wrist, instead of dragging my phone out of my pocket saves time. Only thing disliked is the band and always on Bluetooth. Little did I know, I have a Bluetooth sensitivity and after 3 days I had to take it off because my hand had this weird feiling. The watch did fall off twice without me knowing, but luckily I was in a small store and someone picked it up and asked me it was mine. Otherwise, works great, battery life is about 3-4 days between charges (constant use), and it still works great after 30 minutes in the shower.

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the gear on a whim, my wife has a Jawbone Up3 and I wanted something to make me aware of my activity or lack thereof. It has been great. I have a Galaxy Note 4 and Sfit works great. I don't think this would be the best choice if you didn't own a Samsung phone but it might. Notifications on my watch are great so is sending a call to voicemail or texting back. It's sleek and comfortable but isn't as nice finish work wise as some others I have considered. For me it was price and integration.

Loved that it was a fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the idea that I can see who called me and part of my texts while I'm at work. It's great when you are not allowed to use your phone at work. It helps me know if there is an important call or message from my family while i'm working.

Awesome for its purpose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a 1st generation smarty watch its awesome. Pedometer helps keep you active and all texts, reminders and calls show up reducing the need to check your phone all the time and is far more handy than I expected. The heart monitor seems accurate while resting but not very accurate when moving around. Occasionally texts fail to show up as well but for a first gen device, I can live with minor issues. Battery life is great...about 2 solid days. Sleep monitor is cool and nice for the alarm snooze control without having to fumble around for your phone. The design is personal preference.... I happen to like the style over a big square and so do most people that comment on it I find. Don't expect a full function phone on your wrist and you'll be very pleased.

Handy and set up easy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WIsh it had a little more functions like ability to change types of exercise. Options very limited and not always similar. Battery a little short too but the unit has performed perfectly and size is just right. Glad I purchased this item.
