Does exactly what I need.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This may not be as classy as some of the other wearables, but I wanted something to track my calories burned, heart rate and sleep. I subsequently found some nice apps. For example, it allows me to call my wife while driving hands free by one tap on the device. It is not flashy but is very well designed and at a reasonable price. The apps were an added bonus.

Slimline watch with basic features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received this watch as a gift and connected it to my Galaxy S5. Everything synced nicely and the watch seemed simple to use, but it was somewhat limited in what it could do as far as I could tell, and I wasn't a fan of the rectangular shape. I swapped it out for a Moto 360 which suits my needs better, but if you're looking for a fitness tracker with some additional features for Android devices, this will fit the bill nicely.

Great starter smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the pedometer on this little guy. Really opened up my eyes on how active I am per day. Also the ability to sync your notifications is wonderful feature.

Good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life 3 or so days (decent). Looks attractive and is light weight. It's a little tricky to put on. Can't receive or make calls, very few decent free apps.

Gift for my daughter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a tracker for awhile and my daughter wanted one for Christmas. She seems to really like this one. Thinking about getting one of these for myself since it does so much more than the one I have, such as heart rate, has the plus of a watch so you can tell the time without having a second item on your wrist and she can sync her's with her phone.

Wife loves the Gear Fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Samsung Gear Fit for my Wife on Mother's Day and she completely fell in love with this gadget. It's amazing how all her activities are recorded for her on a daily basis and it has a ton of different notifications that keeps her in the know, Best Mother's Day Present to date and I've paid a helluva lot more for gifts for my wife!!!

Good for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't expecting this device to be so awesome. Was purchased for my mother in law because she does a lot of walking and a lot of swimming, now she is able to track all of her steps and get h er text notifications on her wrist. If you are in the market for a fitness tracker but don't want to spend too much money, this is the device to have.

Much better than the Fitbit Surge!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a fitness watch that would track my steps, calories, run, heart rate, and sleep in particular. I thought that going big with the Fitbit Surge would cover all my bases and I would have the all around perfect fitness watch. WRONG! It was horrible! It didn't track 1/2 of the steps I would take in a day, the GPS was not accurate, so I took it back. I thought I was hopeless until a GREAT sales person asked what phone I had and I have the Samsung Galaxy S4. I don't ever have it sync to the app, so you don't even have to have a Samsung if you want this watch. It is WONDERFUL! It tracks everything right on, even my runs. I still use my Nike+ tracker for my runs and my watch and they're usually extremely close in accuracy. It tracks all of my steps and when I'm doing something with a little more intensity, but may not be doing a lot of steps it will sometimes still count them. I was irritated at first by this, but then read up on it and they do this because it's still physical activity so they give you the credit. It is a great watch. I'm pregnant so I try to keep an eye on my heart rate and this does the job! Wonderful watch and MUCH cheaper and accurate than the Fitbit!

Good Investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Samsung gear fit. Easy to sync with my phone and tablet. Just wish battery would last a little longer than a day with me walking 10000 + steps per day it goes down within a 24 hour period.

Good crossover between fitness band and smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gear Fit is almost there, but not quite. It meets the basic fitness band and smartwatch needs, but doesn't quite hit the mark as a standalone device. If you can catch it for around $100, it's a steal given that it is such a sharp looking device. Otherwise I'd wait for the Microsoft band to come out, which has a similar form factor and includes more standalone features (it's a GPS watch without needing to be connected to your phone, but also can receive calls/texts).

Great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great way for me to keep track of my fitness activity. I am able to track my sleep, steps and heart rate. Another nice feature is being able to respond to text messages with the quick replay option. With the Samsung health app, I can customize those messages and see at a glance my progress of a week with the app's bar graphs.

Great for work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband uses this at work. He wanted it for the pedometer as well as sleep mode. But, where he works, he is not allowed phones. With this, he is able to go through the detectors and not set anything off, as well as have it to keep track of his exercise while at work.

Excellent fitness tool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this fitness watch for our son to help him track his steps. Following a recent medical visit, he was asked to monitor his cardio activity. This watch has helped him to monitor and increase his physical activity while keeping track of his heart rate.

Wonderful product for health tracking.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Gear Fit. It not only tracks information for health, it allows me to be away from my phone. I don't feel attached to it anymore. I love the ease of changing displays and navigating through the settings. It syncs automatically and almost instantly.

Overall, happy with the purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Gear Fit for the dual purpose of wanting a nice high-end fitness tracker, combined with wanting something to help me stay on top of my calendar and personal messages at home and at work. The phone integration, while a little intermittent at times, has been everything I hoped for. My only complaints are on the fitness side - the heart rate monitor doesn't track reliably, and has never sent data to the S Health app on the phone. I also continually get error messages while biking/running that "no movement has been detected" and eventually the app stops the workout on its own, even though the workout history clearly shows the GPS signal was detecting properly (and maps my run).

Well, its not an Apple, but I didn't wait for it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gear Fit does what I wanted it to do and then some. It tracks my exercise routine, gives me notifications of emails and texts, and holds a charge for 3 days. Pretty good for under $200.
