Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It accurately tracks steps and activities. I like the customizations that are available for the screen. I only have to recharge it about every 4 days. It is a little bulky for my small wrist (woman). The band fits great and has never fallen off. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pretty Good So Far...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up a couple of days ago, and so far I've had some mixed results. I've used it to track my sleep, steps, and one exercise session. During the exercise session, I also had my phone track me with my Endomondo App. The difference in distance between the two devices was almost .75 of a mile, and calories burned on my phone was almost double what the gear fit said. My phone wasn't giving me distance updates at it's usual locations either, so I think that has something to do with the discrepancy. I did however like the fact that I could see my heart rate with the gear fit, and also change my music via the fit. The only app I can communicate to on my phone is the Fitness with Gear app I had to download from the Samsung app store for free. It syncs with the fit and gives you stats for steps, excercise, heart rate, and sleep. I have an S4, and I was unable to get my S Health or Endomondo apps to recognize the gear fit. I believe the S5 has an updated S Health app that works with the gear fit, and I've also read that Samsung and Endomondo are partnering together to combine the Gear products with their app, so I'm willing to wait to see what comes of that.

Not a life changing necessity, but fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gear watch is a great addition to a galaxy S4 or S5 phone. It allows you to discretely check incoming messages and email. I am often teaching and on platform in front of a classroom, and the function allows me to keep track of email and messages without interrupting the class. It's also a fun device that allows you to change the appearance of the face on a whim. On the other hand, the pedometer undercounts steps, and the motion detector occasionally fails to detect motion so you have to push the button to see the time. Finally, the heart monitor isn't constant, so if you want to track your heart rate during exercise you still need a separate heart monitor. All in all, it's fun but far from perfect. A great gift for a gadget freak, but not such a good idea for the practical people in your life.

great for new fitness band users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the design, fit, and the fact it works well with my other samsung products. I don't like the application very much. I use to have an up band so that maybe why.

Good Start
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good product. I like the sleekness and screen and have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It still needs a lot of work however on accuracy of steps, heart rate, etc. Needs a better app with more detailed information and the ability to link to my S Health with a Galaxy Note 3. Moves is a better app to track information

Wonderful Interface
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not only does it make for an interesting conversation piece, this device increases productivity 100%! Nice but limited
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it as a gift for my wife on Mothers Day but only works with Samsung smart phones. She has a Motorola. Had to buy her a Fitbit Charge which works with her phone and her computer. Samsung needs to make this compatible with all android smart phones and Windows computers like the fitbit. It was even difficult to get this to work with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Would also like to see more apps and utils for it. If compatibility is expanded then more would write programs for it.

Great device if you have Samsung device.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return it because I do not have a Samsung device and couldn't fully use all of its functions. I did love what I used though shame it wasn't for me.

Great Gift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great gift for my husband. He is not a fan of wearing watches or bands, but he loves his gift. He wears it everyday tracks his steps, can see IM's and phone calls to determine whether to answer or not. One swipe puts the caller to voice mail while working. No scrambling for his phone.

Very cool fitness watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly bought this so I can track my steps as well as check my heart beat. I love that I can see who's calling me or look at or text back text messages when I am unable to look at my phone. This is helpful when at work or working out. My only disappointment is the screen size is kind of small and would have liked a larger one.

Great look and feel for the watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only knock I have on this watch is the battery life is a little lower than some of the other watch on the market, but it looks great and works great as well

Pretty Happy Overall
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was torn between this and the "FitBit". About a week into the purchase I was on a international flight. The passenger next to me was wearing the "Fitbit". We started talking and comparing what we liked/didn't like. We personally (not saying there isn't more out there and we didn't find them!) found 3 major differences. The "FitBits" screen was MUCH smaller, (my personal deal breaker. ), "Sleep" mode has to be activated on the Samsung, the "FitBit" did it automatically. I wish that the Samsung also activated itself. I've fallen asleep and forgot to turn it on. Last, the large screen really opens up a world of uses simply by touching the screen. I'd be lucky to find the screen on the FitBit! It's small and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. My Samsung is new, I'm getting better. I wouldn't trade it for the FitBit. i find myself using features I never thought I would. (Being able to see the screen helps with that, LOL!) I really like it.
