Overall I really like this watch. Lots of features. The only bad thing is the battery life. It's very poor.

The Gear Fit 2 does everything I need. It checks my pulse regularly, tracks my steps, water intake, caffeine intake, as well as having an app with exercise use content that syncs with my phone. Love it!

I decided to get this after a FitBit Blaze was giving me 600+ "exercise calories" (on top of base burn) on days where i barely moved out of my recliner. The numbers on this seem better, but I had minor issues syncing with myfitnesspal --- however they tell me they are now working with samsung on coming up with a proper fix,,.. In the interim my exercises transfers, and i can manually type in walking calories. Would be 5 star if mfp integration worked right.

So far I like my gear fit2 much better than my old fitbit. Only issue is trouble keeping the band on. Got new band from ebay that latches but one side keeps unlatching. Still looking for solution.

I purchased a Note 7 and this watch was the free gift. I wanted to see if I liked the features enough to purchase a Gear or iPhone watch; this was my test dummy. I am very happy and like that I can see messages and notifications for apps I chose. The only downfall is the band; I wish they used a buckle instead of the "punch-hole" design. You can buy an aftermarket buckle if this is a problem for you. When I work out and bump into something, the watch comes off.

    New to smart watches

I initially wanted a larger smart watch but because I just started running again I wanted something that was accurate and versitile. I spent a few weeks reviewing online and watching videos on multiple different smart watches. This one just had an appeal to me. When I saw it came with 4 gigs of memory for music, bluetooth cap. for wireless headphones and standalone GPS I was sold. Went to bestbuy that day and bought it. The first one I had lasted about a month and had a whole line of dead pixels running down the center. Brought it back and exchanged it without any issues even was given a 30 dollar promtional gift card that they were running that week for "buying" this watch again. Very pleased!

I had the original Gear Fit and really liked it. This one is even better. It has excellent graphics and very easy to use. I love that you can change the face, but this can impact battery life.

Heart rate was fairly accurate for what this watch is, but having that feature turned on full-time seems to drain the battery quickly enough that it was difficult to get through a full day. I ended up taking it back for this reason. I liked the overall interface, the customizable faces, and being able to do basic replies to text messages on the wrist was nice.

Great tracker for android. Has a lot of features like heart rate and customizing the watch face. The price is great too. I would only recommend it if you have a samsung phone as it is made for it.

I bought this to be able to pair up with my Galaxy S7. I'm not a heavy user of this watch meaning I don't go on road runs or bike trips. As a casual user - everyday watch and the trip to the gym, it is fits my needs. I like its good features to keep track of the steps, notifications, and selectable watch faces. In a pinch saved music playlist has been helpful as well as the Spotify integration - you need to have the watch paired with your smartphone. Being that it is waterproof and one can leave it on while taking a shower though I've only done that once. After a cardio workout I rinse off the watch to try to keep it clean. Not recommended for swim workouts I guess.

I bought this watch over the others because I have other Samsung products. I like the large screen and the easy to attach band. I did not like the watch face that came with it but was able to download one that I like. I downloaded a golf app that I really like and it is not a battery hog. One round only used 1/2 of the battery. I am disappointed that the battery does not last as long as they claimed in their ads. I can only get 2 days under normal use.

I had an iPhone an an apple watch that i loved to use. I recently sold both and moved to the galaxy s8. This watch does all your basic features, but i did not realize it did not have a mic on the watch after my return days, just like the iPhone does. If i had known this within my return window, i would have returned this for the gear s3. Otherwise, its cheaper than the fitbit on the right sale and does more. Overall happy with the purchase.

    My favorite smart watch!

I did a lot of research on smart watches before buying this. Believe me when I say that you will never use 9/10ths of the features on an Android Watch or an Apple Watch. I love that you can get your notifications on the watch like text messages, Facebook messages, emails, etc on the watch and anything that is too large for the watch, you can view on your phone with a quick push of a button. You can set up quick reply messages for texts too. My favourite thing about it is that it has a built in GPS which is insane for the price and the amount of fitness functionality built in will surprise you. They are constantly pushing updates that make it better and better.

I really enjoy using the gear fit2 daily for work and at the gym. This doesn't have the same capabilities as the gear s2, but for fitness purposes and receiving notifications UT works perfectly.

My husband loved this when he first got it. He’s had it for just over a year now. It’s starting to come undone and doesn’t want to stay on. Also we got rid of his Samsung phone since he got a company phone (they use iPhones). He does not like the interface between iPhone and this watch.

I've been a fitbit user for the last three years and researched the gear fit 2 before purchase. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The biggest difference is the integration of S health with other apps. The fitbit app is more intuitive but once you figure out S health it's a beautiful dashboard. The gear fit 2 is also feature rich at 149. You get GPS, text message and other notifications and can enter water intake right on your wrist.

The gear fit2 was purchased for my wife to replace her fitbit. She is a nurse and needs the second hand and the ability to keep the screen on longer. Neither was available with the fitbit. She really likes the gear fit2, how it fits on her wrist, the options for watch faces with second hands, the ability to set different options and to receive messages, etc. I liked it so much that I bought one as well. We are not fitness nuts but did want to get into shape, the ability with the S fit app on our samsungs to set up competitions has made it kind of fun to compete with the number of steps. All in all a nice little watch with great options and a very clear screen.
