I feel like I may have expected too much for this fitness watch. If you're looking for something reliable and simple this will work well for you. I misunderstood and thought it was a hands free alternative for my phone since it says respond to calls and texts but that's not the case. You will need to speak through the phone as it has no speaker or microphone and the only messages you can send are quick responses. I would've been happier if I still had this watch but after only having it a few months I lost it because the band easily unsnaps. The band itself and how easy it was to fall off was the reason for my 3 star rating. I would recommend buying a different band for it if you purchase.

Got this watch free with the galaxy note 7. It functions great with the phone. The battery on average lasts 2-3 days and recharges pretty quick. The watch functions are easy to navigate. Overall great feel and much better than other competitors like the fit bit

I was looking for a fit bit that worked with her Samsung s7 edge phone. She absolutely loves the fit of the watch and she just recently learned to download songs on it so she didn't need to bring her phone with her when she ran. The only thing she wishes it had was a small camera like her Galaxy gear watch but I personally think she didn't need it for her workouts.

Step up from the previous version. Worth the purchase for the active user.

I feel like this watch is easy to use and I love that I can get all my messages from different apps that i use. I would give it 5 stars if you could type more responses to my messages but overall it's great for the price.

Way better than a fit bit. This watch has a lot more features and is stylish. Also if you have a Samsung phone this is the watch to get.

I love it! One thing in particular is that I can see my text messages on it and even reply with preset replies. My Google notifications also show up on it. Before I would have to take my phone with me to use my S Health to track my walks, but not anymore :-) Did I mention that I LOVE it?! I could go on and on about it. If you are a techie person you will love it too.

This watch keeps me motivated to move and informed while doing so. I love that I can get notifications and reply to text as well. I only wish it had a mic where I can record notes or to do list and play them back. I'm sure that option is in the making.

My fiancee and son picked this up for me as a gift after noticing I was looking at purchasing a fitness tracker. I like that I can respond to a text (with loaded words/phrases) with just a couple of taps. The watch links with the S Health app on my phone so I can track trends. I still haven't utilized all of the functions, but am overall happy with the watch.

I absolutely love this watch. The features are great the only problem I have with it is sometimes when I have been running it will double up the mileage. This happened twice, but for the most part it is very accurate. It reminds you when you have been inactive, so it gets you moving. Definitely worth the money. The style is great too, not too big not too small.

I love this watch. I have the original Samsung gearfit watch and it still works great, however I just love the updates they made to the new version. First off with the better watch band and the new colors. I love all the extras for the different types of exercise. Not to mention it was pretty easy to use and the battery life is much better on this one. Love it.

This watch motivates me to exercise, do a variety of exercisss, drink more water, alerts throught light and vibration for phone calls, text messages, appointments and tasks that have a deadline. Where my phone is not always in my hand to realize a message is coming in on silent mode, or I forget to look at it for my next appointment, my watch does it for me.

This was my first purchase of an activity watch. It was easy to use and not as bulky as some of the other watches I have seen. The Samsung sales representative was very helpful and located right inside the Best Buy store which was very convenient.

I don't have a Samsung phone so I didn't get all the functionality of the watch but it is cool and slick and I could still use a lot of its features with my iPhone. It looks very good and had no glitches so far and is easy to use and reliable.

I bought this as a supplement to my Gear S2 whose bands are currently broken. It works great, but the only issue I have had is with the charging. It picks and chooses which days it wants to charge :-/ After reading forums, that seems to be common.

This is a good way to keep track of steps and floors walked. However, I wish it was a little better with GPS. I can walk around a classroom for 2 hours and it will say I have been inactive the whole time. Otherwise, it has some great capabilities.

This device plays well with my other Samsung devices, giving me accurate readings for activities, heart rate and sleep patterns. I have another app on my phone for activity, and it is close to the Gear Fit2 readings... Takes about 1+ hours to charge per day- I charge twice a day for shorter time periods, when I'm inactive (showering, watching TV, etc.)
