Upgraded from the first Gear Fit. This new one is just as great. I like that it now counts how many times my elevation has changed (climbing stairs). The only thing that I don't like, is that I can't pick my picture for the screen like I could on the first generation. But by all means, thats not a deal breaker.

This is a decent, basic smartwatch for the price. It has a nice, bright, colorful screen, and the step counter works well. When it comes to the features of actually tracking fitness, it fails horribly. The heart rate monitor only seems to work when I'm resting. Whenever I run, it says my heart rate is 215 almost every time, which is completely unrealistic. Also the GPS tracking feature stops working midway through a run at least a third of the time. If you want a basic step counter with a nice display, this is fine, but if you want accurate heart rate and GPS measurements, it's not for you.

I work in the medical field so it is nice that I was able to get a watch face on it with a second hand. I like when there are time that I am actually sitting for long periods that it reminds me to get up and move. Also that I can see who is calling or that I can get text and pictures on it as well.

Nice device. Connects way and battery life is good. It is pretty much a step and heart rate monitor. The ability to check messages and alerts without getting my phone out. Find my phone app is also very handy.

Bought for wife, does everything we wanted and more. Purchased for water resistance and screen size. Purchase extra safety bands, 2 bucks on amazon, the clasp on this isnt fantastic however I read that on a review before I purchased it and it saved us from losing it multiple times.

Overall, this fitness watch has some nice features. I really like being able to store my songs right on the watch so I don't need to carry a phone when I'm jogging. I also like being able to view and respond to texts with it. But I've had a couple huge frustrations. 1. It just randomly stops tracking steps and won't start again unless I restart the watch. Booooooooo! 2. the band disconnects far too easily and it is easy to lose the watch as a result.

This fitness watch is fantastic as your personal fitness reports can be read on the watch. Easy to read and navigate screens. Also syncs well with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone for e-mails, text, calls and so on.

This is a great smart watch. Its so convenient to be able to see all of my incoming notifications and use the fitness features. The only downside is that it got a few scratches on the screen much too easily.

I had the Gear Fit before this one and I loved the style. When I saw the GearFit2 come out I tried it and loved the features that much more! I get to actually see pictures from messages and have more options for quick reply. Love it! Oh and the battery life...I only have to charge it every 2-3 days!

This was a great replacement for my fitbit...however...it stopped charging after a month. Now it just won't turn on or charge. Too late to return it now!

Easy connection with my iPhone. Works seamlessly with my apps. Not really useful for an indoor track as it sometimes asks to move to an area that is more open for the GPS to work. Better than nothing.

I thought it would do so much more. I like the different faces but there is just no "YaY" factor. It shows well in daytime is about the best. So far I had to reset it 3 x in 3 weeks. One app just disappeared. I could have gotten a much cheaper one to do what this watch does. I should have taken it back but I got sick and missed the 14 day return. Overall disappointed. Was the first time in years I bought anything at Best buy. The last were headsets who were bad .

For those who prefer Samsung over Apple, this watch is a great way to get the tech from our phone to our wrist! Love being able to receive my emails, texts and calls on my Gear Fit2 and still use it for my fitness tracking! I say at least once a week, "I love my Gear Fit2"!

Loved the look, the apps, the watch, and the ease of use. But the band does not hold and it fell off my wrist within two days of use. it is light weight so i did not notice until too late (after grocery visit). I was heartbroken but all I could get back was the extra warranty. I bought a vivosmart HR, not as colorful, but band has hooks and the app on phone is marvelous. Expensive lesson.

My mom loses her phone once a year. I purchased the gearfit 2 because it has a cool feature that buzzes if you separate from your phone. If you're within proximity, the watch can send a sound notification to the phone. So far, my mom loves it. She used the feature a few times already.
