I was looking for a watch primarily for running. My criteria included its being light weight and able to provide the details I wanted while also being able to access Spotify. This watch was light weight and Spotify worked great, but in terms of its usefulness as a running watch it fell short. The detail on the screen is very small and hard to read during a run. I ended up staying with Samsung and purchased a Gear Sport.

Started out great. Kept track of all my workouts and synced well. But all of a sudden the battery started draining like crazy! And then when the watch went to sleep, it turned off (with plenty of battery remaining). Getting service (under warranty) seems to be painful. Samsung said it is a battery problem.

I purchased the Gear Fit2 Pro to track my swimming. The watch worked good for the first 4 months of use. I used it only in the pool for 4 days a week and swam for 1 hour each day. The watch stopped working so I sent it to Samsung for repairs and had it shipped back to me un-repaired. Basically Samsung says that the watch is not made for long swims, 30 minutes max. is what I was told. If you are thinking about purchasing this for swimming please think twice. My swim tracking watch is un-repairable due to liquid damage???

The battery life is terrible. I have had the watch 3 yrs and returned it 2 times because the watch just quit. I had to return it again because the band broke where it connects to the watch and they could not just replace the band. This is the last one for me. If it breaks again I will return it for a different product.

Like the features however had to return because it would not work on the phone or any other devices. Too bad hope they will expand!

Very user friendly! This fitness tracker does so much more than just track your fitness goals. It has messaging capabilities, is water resistant, and you are able to download music directly to the device. Love this little piece of tech!

The Samsung -Gear Fit2 Pro was requested as a gift from a a family member but they have been thankful and using it since Christmas! You can answer calls remotely and its totally dependable for any sports activity!

I also own the Gear S2 watch. This new Gear fit2 serves as a more casual alternative. all the same features with the added bonus of supposed water proof capability. I've read that may be an issue but I haven't tested it yet

I like it but it seems the battery doesn't last but a couple days. Wish it lasted longer.

Good for a first smartwatch. Good for the pool. Good for Spotify. Wish you could answer calls like the Apple Watch though.

The app is very convenient, looks very visually appealing, great for working out or playing music.

i love my fitbit watch, i love how i can answer preset messages via text, how my phone can be on silent and i still receive calls/texts so i never miss a message, it reminds me to get up and stretch when im working

This is a good fitness band/smartwatch but after I bought it I discovered there are issue with heart rate measurement.

This watch combines all the facets of a sports watch with that of a smart watch. Beyond just tracking steps it offers a wide variety of exercise options as well as connecting all e-mails, texts and phone calls from the phone.

Was for the wife, she really likes it, Just a bit of learning curve. Heart rate, step counter, things she wanted.

I bought this to replace my Gear Fit Pro, and it is a subtle improvement on that smartwatch. The strap holds better (no more accidental removal when it catches on my jacket), and there are more features to try out.

The watch is nice, but does not work well with iPhone. Had a difficult time syncing and once done wasnt fully compatible with the phone. The one convience about wearing the watch thats connected through your phone is being about to send and recieve text messages or talk. You cant send text messages. This is an iPhone/watch issue. My understanding is that with Android phones it works fine.

Battery life just can't keep up with daily use. So sad

such an improvement over just last year.... measures steps... temp... heart rate,,, ovalation...moods... ok not all that but grst watch that synched with her new phone .... sh was so excited she mentioned 5EX.... mentioned....

I love this watch the battery life last all day and it accurately tracks my movements and heart rate. Amazing watch I love samsung it syncs well with my Galaxy S8.
