I was looking to upgrade from my ancient Fitbit Zip, and thought it would be convenient if it also functioned as a watch, so I bought this smartwatch. It works pretty well, except that it seems that my step counts are a lot lower (2,000-3,000 less) than with my Fitbit. I'm not sure if the Fitbit was super sensitive or if the Samsung isn't sensitive enough. Well, I guess this is better though, cuz I work harder to meet my daily goal. The other functions are great.

A birthday present for my fiance and she loves it so far! It looks cool and does so much more than she thought. Tracks her sleep which is really interesting. Calls, texts, activity levels, etc.

I love this watch. Does exactly what I need and easy to use. Read text reply to text, see who is calling, track steps/workout.. it's great and worth the price for sure. Reasonably priced

Does everything it is supposed to. Sometimes the charge only lasts one day, but only takes an hour to charge.

The thing that led me to this is the compatibly that all Samsung devices have to each other. I have a galaxy phone and it is really nice that I can receive all of the notification on my watch that I receive on my phone. I really enjoy the exercise tracking that this watch has. It's nice to be able to get a clear view of how much you have actually done. I have noticed that when I try and use this while hiking it doesn't seem to track as well as if I am just out on a walk or run.

The fitness watch monitors a lot of things. It gives you notices and reminders when there are things you need to be aware of. I still haven't discovered all that it will do. Very impressed with it.

It is my first smart watch and I am pleased with it. The only thing I would change is to have a longer battery life. I make it work and plan the charging times. It does all I need.

In theory this seemed like a good purchase since it was waterproof and looked good, but it didn’t last long. I should have protected it with an additional case, but didn’t want it to get bulky. The screen shattered with very little impact and the time stopped working. Now it’s just collecting dust. Time to spend the money on real wearable tech and get the Apple watch.

Samsung never goes wrong with their products. Great watch once you learn how to use it. A lot of workout things on it to keep you on track.

Purchased with the idea that it would be compatible with LG phone. Has reset twice and lost the data, when recharging. Not every time but doesn't make sense.

watch is great, can get notifications on it. only down side is that the battery dies just as fast as the phone

I enjoyed this watch as a replacement to my WONDERFUL windows watch when it could not be fixed. There are many good points to this and good apps but there have been many inconsistencies. It does not seem to know how to count the stairs. First it did not count them and now it seems to count steps on the stairs rather than how many times I go up a set of stairs. If the watch loses sync it is hard to get it to sync again even when syncing with a Samsung phone.

My niece is loving it and still keeps tracking her fitness thru this device. It does not disappoint her!!

Best one yet. I take showers with it, I've gone swimming with it, it works great. Tracks all of my work outs, from walking, running, bicycling and swimming. Gear Fit2 Pro is the best.

It's a very good product if you have Samsung phone, the only big problem is the bad battery life, also it's big.

It tracks my steps, heart rate, calories burned, and much more. It detects activity and tracks it. GPS tracks my run. Let's me answer texts with replies that I added to pre-set choices.

Comfortable to wear.records activity accurately. Water resistant - swam all summer wearing it

The watch picked right up with my Samsung phone and when I went to the gym it just started telling me how I was doing without me asking I liked that good bye for all techie or beginner

With a GPS built inside, I would expect the step country/tracking to be a bit better. It's consistently lower than other trackers I've used. It a decent device for other aspects but hard to recommend. Specifically, if you're utilizing S Health, the software doesn't combine phone + watch steps. It simply divides them into two separate devices tracking independently.

The Gear Fit2 Pro is too big for my wrists(6.25"), overhangs my wrist leaving a gap before curving down. This makes it too bulky to fit under sleeve cuffs or even under my jacket.
