Why can't Samsung and Apple work it out?

But after purchase found that the battery life was terriable after the first week had to charge daily no matterwhat setting i changed on it . Like battery saver mode . Still needed to be charged daily . Ended up returning and buying a fitbit versa and couldnt be happier
