Great product most useful products are the popup notifications and music switching so I don't have to take out my phone. To be honest texting is a lot harder than it looks so I just use for time and notifications

I could not get the gear app to work on my phone. I would launch it and only one of the five sections of the app would work. It was incredibly frustrating! I was just about to give up and return it when I decided to go back to the store where I bought it and asked one of the Samsung expert employees if he could help. He was willing to give it a try. We both went over the menus on the phone and the watch, he reset both phone and watch (which I had tried but was willing to let him do it), and finally after trying almost everything else the Best Buy employee went into the Developer's section of the phone settings and found a setting that needed to be turned off. After that, the app worked perfectly and I am now the proud, and extremely happy, owner of the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch!

The Gear S2 is hands down the best smartwatch I've ever used. I'm a smartwatch fan and have had several watches including the original Gear, Gear S, Moto 360, LG G Watch R, LG Urbane and Sony Smartwatch 3. most recently devices using Android Wear and I have to say that Samsung's choice of Tizen for the OS really makes all the difference in terms of capabilities. There are certain things that Android Wear just can't do well yet and in my opinion has a long way to go until it's a compelling enough operating system for wearables so Samsung's customization of Tizen on the Gear 2 really helps close those gaps. I love getting full email on my device as well as the awesome Gear apps like Yelp, Hangouts and CNN. The design is slick and I love the magnetic charging dock. Highly recommended!

This watch is perfect for those who want to workout and listen to your music without having to carry your phone in your pocket. I love all of the features it has as well.

This is my first smart watch and I really did not know what to expect. I like the look feel and wearability of this watch. It is very easy to use and the apps are also easy to get to. I would recommend this watch to anybody.

Personally, I would prefer an actual watch to just look great and tell the time. Thats why I have a phone and a watch. But we recently bought this as a gift for brother. After shopping around and looking at competitor models (Fossil Q, Moto360, etc), we decided on this knowing it was the specific one he wanted. So far, a month in, he loves it. Great features and compatibility with GS5 phone - news, text, fitness monitoring, etc.. As I said, although I would like an actual watch, I did like the feature he showed me that it could change the watch face between several different styles to match dress/casual/sporty look.

I currently own the original Galaxy Gear and liked it very much. So I decided to purchase the Gear S2 as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend since she thought mine was "pretty cool". Turns out her new toy comes pretty handy, as it display emails, text messages and calendar reminders on her watch screen. She works in the medical field and most of the time does not carry her phone with her, however it is always near by. Her watch helps her remind her of appointments and allows her to see her incoming messages without being rude to her patients by looking at her phone. It also has fitness apps that she enjoys very much!

I bought the smartwatch thanks to a good deal (open box), I paired it easily with my samsung phone! It's perfect for me because I don't always hear my phone when I get a notification or a call, plus, I can track my steps, my workouts... You can customize the presentation and make it suitable for your needs. I have to be honest, I don't need it, but now that I have it I can't live without it! :D

It does the job it describes, and it does it fairly well. Upsides: -Good functionality -Very durable -Looks sharp in all weather. -Good water resistance. I work in a factory, and it's taken some abuse, but it's still in excellent condition. It delivers tiny vibrations to my wrist to let me know when things happen. It only does so for the things I want it to. The screen is easily readable in all lighting, unless perhaps you're staring directly into the sun first. Please do not stare into the sun. I hear its bad for your health. Downsides: -Screen is sometimes not as sensitive as perhaps it should be. -Navigation isn't quite as intuitive as other Samsung devices. -It's a $250 watch that basically has to be near your phone to provide most of its functionality. I use it to control my music and stuff, and for that it's great. When taking a bike ride, for example, it's much simpler to change my music by simply raising my wrist and pushing a button, than it is to mess with my phone. If you're into sports, or you need to monitor your heart rate at night, or you want an effective silent alarm, it's fantastic. These are things I needed in my life. However, if you just want a fancy timepiece, you've already got one on your phone. What are you doing with your life? This isn't 1843, drop the pocketwatch and get with the times, granddad. Major downside: -There's no Nest app. I have a Nest thermostat. The watch face is a circle. Google owns Nest. Google is android. Google basically is tailoring things to Samsung. This merely highlights the main, major drawback: there's not a lot to do with it. Fancy watch faces, samsung health, google play integration. That's all great. However, that's also about it. I can't use it as a pip-boy for fallout 4. I can get a watch face to emulate it. It's little things like this that will make it better in the future, but that also are detrimental for now.

Overall I think this smart watch was pretty good. It does everything I wanted it to do. Needless to say it syncs perfectly to my samsung 6S. Walk counter, Workout tracker, Food tracker, Calorie tracking, water tracking, Caffine Tracking, Activity notification/ tracking, Time, Notification Alerts (incoming calls, messages, apps, etc...). It also does some other things I didn't know until I played with it. It can remotely control my smart phone to take pictures and videos. I can even see it on the watch display so I can see what I'm taking a picture of. It can also play music through bluetooth. It also has a calendar for meeting notification and I can install a calculator. There is only a couple of things I would like to see improved. One would be the battery life. Its already pretty good at 2-3 days but I would like to see more life. Even though its pretty good now but I would like to see more apps.

I really really really like the watch overall! The bezal is super accurate, the watch is way more accurate then the moto 360!! I tried the app on other phones then Samsung and works just as good. Highly recommended!

I purchased this watch after having owned a gear fit, I much prefer the functionality and design of this one. Hopefully they will continue to put out more as for it.

I have enjoyed this watch very much! Keeps track of my steps and fitness goals. The only thing I don't like about it is the texting. But besides that it's all great!

I love this watch because I am very busy at work and its easy to use. It makes it real easy to respond to text messages, look at my calender and access my apps.

I've tried several other android watches, but this one tops them all. Very sleek and not bulky as previous samsung watches.

Gr8 watch but no speaker so u can't answer calls! And the range is not that good! Good for tracking fitness! N looks good!

The watch easily utilizes its many functions with the smooth rotating bezel. Exercise tracker is very accurate and rapid response. Very comfortable fit and best of all it actually looks and feels like a watch.

It does everything I need it to do. The only thing I would like is more band options. The classic version takes standard bands. But other than that love it. Great battery life. Get a photo watchscreen.

This watch is great! So convient to have notifications right on your arm. Makes it easy to stay in the loop while at work, school or even driving. Pairs with most android smartphone and was easy to set up.

This looks great, however, I really wish their were more apps and integrations with google...hopefully they will come
