I bought this watch with the white band, big mistake. I like the looks of it and feel more feminine than the black, but very easily gets dirty. I'm already charging the thing nightly, don't want to clean it every night as well. As with other reviews, a little disappointed with the apps available. My son is deployed, so wanted an extra layer of notification when he called. This watch does not support google hangouts, which is our most solid way to communicate. I would have kept the watch if it would recognize google hangouts,

Prior to this smartwatch I had the Moto360. Long story short the Moto cracked and I was stuck without a smartwatch. I turned to this Gear S2 and I have to say it is one of the best watches! Fast, responsive, long battery life. It just useful for everyday things and more! I can text at work through the watch, see my notifications at a glance and even test my heart beat! Overall npo problems with the watch yet, great buy.

I love my new smart watch. Alerts me when I get texts, phone calls, tracks me steps, - you cannot answer a phone call or listen to music - there is no speaker. You can talk text and it works great. Also, you can bluetooth some headphones and listen to music that way, but I havent tried it yet. Overall I am very happy with my purchase :)

The watch is easy to use and has more functions and abilities then I will every use. But at least I will have the ability at my touch.

I do love my watch. I primarily bought the gear fit because I wanted a smart watch that could control music through my phone's system player rather than Google Music which I hate. Then when the Gear S2 came out I was more than willing to upgrade. I love that I can have my favorite tracks on my watch and not need my phone. I calculate tax at work a lot so I've used the calculator quite a bit. The quality is excellent and the only thing I have to complain about is the lack of band variety without purchasing on the internet.

Runs on Tizen, not Android. Due to Samsung's decisions to run Tizen, many apps on your ANDROID phone will not be compatible with the watch, which also brings me to another annoyance. Luckily, I have a Samsung phone so these two devices will work together. But if you have a non-Samsung Android phone, I (need to do some more research) believe it will have compatibility issues. But really, this watch is EXCELLENT. It has an outstanding screen, amazing product finish and quality, and impressive specs. If you like using Samsung's stock apps (I like using 3rd party apps), this watch will not disappoint.

Luv this smartwatch from Samsung. It has several watch faces to choose from. Perfect for anyone who love technology. It is a great improvement over Samsung previous smartwatch.

Love this device it's easy to use and its confortable to wear. The only thing I wish they had spent more time on is tge battery life.

My Gear S2 has become my new best friend following the unfortunate demise of my Gear 2 Neo. The Gear S2 is easy to use, looks more like a "regular" watch, and keeps me constantly connected to the world without having to constantly rely on my phone for notifications and phone calls. I'm glad I was able to upgrade to the Gear S2. So far, this purchase has exceeded my expectations . . . by far!

I really enjoy the Samsung Gear S2 but I felt that it was too pricey for me to be wearing it without much use.....I liked the fact that it was very health smart and that I could answer text messages without taking my phone out from my pocket......overall is a great watch and I'll probably wait for the price to go down to have it again......

This watch looks much better than the previous fitness watch I had (samsung gear fit). There are so many different things you can do with it, I probably could be entertained just messing around with my watch and leaving my phone alone. I did not give it 5 stars because it can be a bit confusing working through everything, but I did purchase an open item that did not come with a manual, so it is probably just me. Also, I wish the sizing could be different. The Gear Fit watch fit my tiny wrist much better.

It is a cool smart watch. But I wish it had the speaker and size as the the first gear s. Overall though it's a very cool watch.

Compared to the older version, this is more of a watch rather than a computer on the wrist.

Bought this as a gift for my husband and I have also used the device. Snappy & stylish. Easily fits my smaller wrist & works better than hoped for. Highly recommended.

Owned a few Smart watches since the start of their life cycle. This is so far my favorite. Light weight, sleek, attractive as far as the look and wear. Function is perfect as far as the intuitive use of the rotating bezel. I never use the swipe feature because the bezel works so smoothly. Apps and watch faces are expanding everyday, but the current ones meet all my needs. The ambient watch feature is awesome and makes the appearance as you have a regular digital watch on. Battery life is still not the best, but I plug it in every night along with my phone so never had a issue yet. Overall I love the watch!

I like the design and how smooth everything is on the watch. What I don;t like about it is the lack of support for android devices, e.g.: the watch does not support android wear at all, the map app (partially) works on my nexus 5. I said partially because even if you install the "here" map, and after creating a route, the watch asks you to install the map app on your phone (which is already installed).

Working @ a hospital 12 hrs a day this watch is a lifesaver, let me explain I have found that I rely on my watch for all timed procedures , you say any watch can do that but the difference is I can also see all my notifications and text and emails in real time! Also the many watch faces that use military time which is used by most hospitals as well helps me throughout my shift,! ,

I enjoy this watch very much, everything about it is flawless. The ONLY problem I have with the watch is the limited apps/games, but then again it is a watch.

The watch is easy to read, provides a full day’s battery life, and has tons of very cool features. If you are a Samsung person, you need to get this watch.
