I've had the Samsung Gear 2 for just over two months now and have really enjoyed it. Its easy to set up and all of my information is just a swipe away. I really use it to help remind me that I need to move more often during the day since I have a desk job. The watch will buzz me if I have been sitting too long and encourage me to stretch or take a walk. Nice sleek design very user friendly. The biggest draw back is the battery life, most times it needs to be charged daily, so if I forget it will die on me throughout the day. Overall good simple smart watch which is what I've always wanted

I really like this watch and it has a lot of great features, but the one thing that keep sit from a 5 star rating is the battery life. Unless I am doing something wrong the battery does not last me the whole day. If it lasts 8 hours I'm lucky, other then the battery it is a great watch.

Great for notications and for overall health tracker.

It's great for a watch, battery life(2 days on 1 charge), step counter, heart rate monitor, alarms, & quick text responses if that's what you bought it for. The cons is the band broke off the locking clip to watch w/in a month( daily user w/o hard usage like getting watch caught on anything). The preloaded apps are not as great as expected(slow or it doesn't work). Downloaded apps from Samsung or Tizen(camera app) seem to cause watch to either freeze for quite some time if they work or makes watch inoperable that a hard restart is needed. Keyboard is too small to text. Swype should've been the keyboard used, especially since it's using a t9 keyboard. Voice command is not as helpful if you are not in a quiet room. Accessories & apps are very limited for this model.

Just wanted to say I was thrilled to get a discount for open box Samsung gear S2. I received the package within 24 hours and once again thrilled. The watch casing box had "Inspected by Best Buy" tape all around it which I didn't like, but I was just excited to get the watch. Well, until I tried to connect my phone to it. I download the Samsung gear software and it went through and then came to a screen that asked me to sign in to my Samsung account. "Reactivation lock is on for the gear" Sign in to your Samsung account to confirm that the Gear belongs to you. .......well the Geek Squad apparently didn't pay attention to this because now it is not usable unless it is unlocked by the account that place it on the watch. So other than getting to look at it that is all I got to do. This is a nice time piece but once again I do not recommend buying an Open Box version of this watch because it is nothing but a paper weight. So disappointed, now I must return it...

This is the first smart watch I have owned and so far have been very pleased. My profession doesn't always allow me to look at my phone when I receive an important text or email. With the convenience of having the messages displayed on my watch instead I can still do my job and quickly look at my messages in case there is an emergency.

Doesn't do everything I dreamed of, but it's progress. The 3g model has more, but for now this watch gets the job done. Definitely worth the money... when it's on sale. ☺ my only complaint is the description says black, but it's gray. So don't expect a true black watch.

Got this for my dad and he loves it. It was easy for him to figure out and use.

I have been pleasantly surprised with this watch. I get a lot of compliments on its esthetic appeal, but it's capabilities are helpful, too, like the step counter, weather, texting, and notifications. The heartbeat measurements are neat, too. I'm not a very techy person in the sense I need the latest gadget, but I really enjoy this watch. The one thing I don't like is that sometimes when I flick my wrist to see the time, it doesn't always come on when I do the movement or the screen will turn off while I'm using the seconds hand to time a pulse or respiration of animal (I am a vet tech). It does take a little getting used to the weight of the watch. It does well with charge, scratch resistance, and water resistance. I would recommend this product.

This is the first smartwatch I have ever owned so I am still getting to know it. It has performed very well so far. Connects easily to my GS7 Edge which was nice. I really like the ease of using the health monitoring aspects especially since I have just started working out again. Getting and checking my notifications as well as answering texts through my watch is also nice and kind of cool! Unlimited watch faces was an unexpected bonus too. My only complaint would be that the watch band could be a little longer. I have on the biggest one and it is almost too small (I have big wrists).Overall it is a great watch!

Easy to use, great display and very comfortable to wear.

I read lots of reviews before purchasing, and - quite frankly - I don't know what the negative reviews are all about. I absolutely love this watch! Sure, it may not communicate with the Space Station (exaggeration intended), but it does a LOT of things very nicely! I usually don't like wearing a watch, but this is very comfortable...not cheap-feeling or looking. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. Get one!

The gear s2 watch is really nice. Battery life last about one day. White band gets dirty pretty easily.
