This was my first smart watch, after reading the reviews, it stood up to the praise it was given. Solid Samsung product. Links well with Edge s6 plus. Gives great activity feedback. Not sure that the step accuracy is there. Spent an hour on treadmill and it said I only spent 20 minutes. Other times it is pretty close. Not sure why the variance. Great watch though. Love the stopwatch.

This watch was a replacement for the previous version. It's much bulkier, and I preferred the square face of the older version. The battery does not last as long, usually a day and a half, and it has an odd bevel you have to turn to read messages. Still, it's very functional and works well.

So far this watch has been great! Great activity tracker, battery. Everything!

I'm a bit disappointed in the Gear S2 from a fitness prospective (which was my main purpose for the device). I previously had a Microsoft band that I loved except it stopped charging. I was going to get a band 2 but the reviews were bad so since I have a Galaxy S6 phone, the next logical device was the Gear S2. It is awesome as far as phone items but I'm not happy with the fitness part of the device. I came from a device where I could do everything on the device. With the S2, you have to do everything from the S Health app. And it doesn't use your heart rate to determine what your calorie burn is while working out. You start an exercise on the app and no matter how little or intense you workout, it says you burned the same amount of calories. Not too realistic and when that's what is important to you, you have no choice but to be disappointed.

The watch Is great i love it! Easy to use and so useful to have!

This is the greatest smart watch out there. Very easy, simple and amazing!!!!

It's super smooth and the rotating bezel makes the functionality even better

I really enjoy the way the device works compared to the Gear 2 Neo, however I really dislike the round face. The functionality however was more then enough for me to skip the purchasing of the Gear 2 Neo in its place, im getting more used to the watch, and its features and functionality are second to none

Always thought smart watches are something not made for me after I bought my first gear two years back...this one is easy to use and synchronization is simple with my Note5..good battery when you compare with the apple watch..must buy!

I wanted a fitness tracker and watch in one. I read reviews of all the smart watches out there and after careful consideration decided on this one. I haven't had any issues with it. However I have noticed that the watch is definitely better if you havery a Samsung smart phone rather than any other phone.

I really like the S2 now that I have had a couple weeks to use it. I previously had the square Gear2. I like the round display better as well as the navigation dial. Battery is great and the wireless charging is a big improvement over the Gear2. Basically in a nutshell, it does the same things as the Gear2 but a whole lot better. And of course a couple extra new features.

This is a great smart watch for use with a Samsung Galaxy phone! It works great over Bluetooth and sends notifications as long as you have your phone with you. There are features that the Apple Watch have that I wish this had - such as a built in speaker and the ability to draw pictures to friends, etc.

I'm not a huge watch fan.. never really wore a watch to much. My boyfriend has the older gear watch and I was amazed at its features. He suggested that I get the new gear s2 and so I did. Since I purchased this watch, I haven't went a day without wearing it. I like that it's not bulky nor heavy and has a comfortable wear. I love that I can receive my notifications on the watch face when I'm at work, especially since I work in procedure most of the day. I like how I can personalize it with a picture in the background and there's so many different themes to choose from. This is a great smartwatch. Definitely the best purchase I've made in a long time.

Really nice watch everything is perfect except you have to pay monthly for talking with your watch. It does not have a speaker. Battery better than apple watch. it keeps on 2 days easily.

The gear 2 sport has a durable band but the downside is you can change it. The watch was pretty easy to sync to my galaxy S6. The texting on the watch is neat but is like texting T9 on a flip phone. Creating quick text is much more useful so you can send those until you're able to text on your phone.

Very nice looking and easy to use. Wireless charging is a cool feature.

I tried another smart watch from another vendor and returned it in a week. The Samsung Gear S2 however is a keeper. The size and weight is like a regular watch and the features are just what I need. I use the text messages and fitness apps the most. I like the ability to text by speaking to the Gear and not having to pull out my phone. I may even get another one!.

I am not a watch wearer, but I won't go without it any more. I can so quickly and easily check my e-mails, and my texts, and see who is calling me, without pulling my phone out of my pocket! Plus the quick responses to texts are great. Also the talk to text works fine for me, and again is so much faster and easier then pulling my phone out of my pocket. I love it!

First I bought the fitgear I loved it and it had me wanting more features. I didn't realize I couldn't use it to actually talk on the phone (not sure if that is worth another $100). I enjoy that I can see who is calling me from a vibration on my wrist, great for when it is an inappropriate time to look at my phone, or have a ringer on. S voice is my favorite feature, I use it all the time for texting and for setting the timer while cooking. What I wish it had was a more feminine look, there are tons of watch faces to chose from for men and only a few for women. I also like the shape of the fitgear better, the size makes it a bit clumsy.

Our son got this Smartwatch for Christmas and he is thrilled with this watch.. it has 6 different faces you can change daily and he is able to keep in touch with his wife and 4 kids alot easier.. and no one at work knows he is receiving texts if he needs to talk to his wife in an emergency... thanks for the great gift and the best one he received this christmas...
