Sleek design. Battery life not bad at 2 solid days with 3 hours of workouts tracked. Using with IPhone so apps are limited. Overall very happy with this.

The battery life on this watch is great. It is also comfortable to wear and looks great!

I was loving my watch. Definitely worth it for us ladies as my phone is usually at the bottom of my purse. Some of the apps do not work (i.e I have had trouble making a call from my watch via my bluetooth). I am not giving 5 stars bc my band broke one month after purchasing (no forceful pulling, never showered with it, dont workout..etc) normal everyday wear. I even take it off to sleep. After contacting Samsung....the band is not covered, so I have to purchase a new band. Not happy abt that.

I was rather impressed when I purchased this particular smart watch. Being affiliated within the medical profession, Im always on the go therefore checking my phone from time to time can be a difficult endeavor. The watch provides prompt notifications, nearly all my apps are compatible however some apps require the phone to be present in order for you to view the news feed. If you want all notifications for every app, then this is not for you. BUT if you want a watch that can show text messages, emails, inform you about phone calls, and want to establish a work out regimen then this is for you. I utilize the voice app to reply to all text messages and to my surprise the watch has not caused any messed translations or misinterpretations thus far. It works well with English, however if you try to utilize words from other dialects the program has a difficult time deciphering what is being said. Its water resistant and very durable. I accidentally smashed the watch on a operating table and the watch came out unscathed. You can connect via bluetooth (distance is about 100ft) or via wifi network. The watch has different vibration settings to inform the user of a notification, and its really hard to miss because the vibration is prominent. The heart rate and pedometer apps are great and accurate as well. Again, this is not a perfect smartwatch however for my purposes it really suited my needs. The voice commands are intuitive and for the most part more accurate than not. I can reply to colleagues and loved ones on the fly without having to carry my phone everywhere. Just an FYI, its not very APP heavy so if you want a smartwatch that has a billion apps, then this is not for you. It does however have an internal memory of 4GIGs so you can store music which is nice when you go to the gym (along with wireless headphones). REALLY HAPPY with this product and would suggest this to anyone and everyone.

Great activity tracker. Love the heart rate monitor. Plus the notifications are a life saver. It works great sending short texts. Has a pretty good battery life too

Love the ease of use. Love seeng who is texting, and calling and being able to answer texts from the watch instead of pulling out my phone. Can't wait for new apps!

I love Samsung products and this is another great one from them. I think the Smartwatch technology still has a long ways to go, but for the time being this watch is great! This is my favorite on the market, based on the look and the features it offers. I was hoping it would be better in terms of tracking sleep, but it doesn't link up with many apps for that. Other than that thought, it looks really nice! feels great on my wrist and it is slightly ahead of the average Smartwatch technology.

This is my first smartwatch. I was looking to buy a fitness watch then decide for $50 more I would invest in buying this smartwatch. Which was my first choice, but I still did my research looking at many smartwatch and READ A LOT OF REVIEWS! I decided on this watch which I just love it. does all in which I was looking for it to do. Email, texts, fitness among many other apps. I have the Bluetooth version, not with speaker for you to make calls which you would have to go thru your phone carrier. With the Bluetooth version, you can still make calls from your watch which will connect on your phone or wireless Bluetooth headset etc. May sound like a Hassel believe me it's not. Same as playing music via watch it will automatically open up your music app or store music on your phone and allows you to control what plays, volume etc. Overall I love this watch I do not regret purchasing this smartwatch. It has all the features that I was looking for in a smartwatch. My advice research many smartwatch & read the reviews and think of what is your reasons and what you are looking for in a smartwatch. The battery last me a good 2 days I am not constantly on my phone all day that may also be the reason.. and if you choose to turn off your bluetooth the watch will still work in stand alone mode meaning it will work as a basic watch. I owned a Microsoft Smart Watch years ago. I wore a fit bit for awhile. I enjoyed my Samsung Gear Fit. I also shopped for an Apple Watch. After purchasing the Samsung Gear 2 smart watch I'm confident I not only got the best watch for the money...I bought the best one available. It does everything and more that the Samsung rep at Best Buy demonstrated for me. It's comfortable (even for a guy like me with Neanderthal-sized wrists). The apps worked right from the get go and are easy to configure right from the watch. It's good-looking and out performs every smart watch I've ever had.

I love the watch and all of it's functions. I purchased it so that when I was in a meeting I didn't always need to look at my phone for my messages/email. Or when my kids are playing on my phone I'm not missing anything important. The fitness notifications are a double edge sword for me....I love the reminders to get up and move around but they are also annoying especially if you are sitting in traffic for the last hour and can't move. All and all....a great product.

Good smart watch, although it had less built in features then it's earlier square model. I have more of a problem with the Samsung rep and best buy employees I dealt with then the product. The rep had to be pried away from his computer and phone to ask questions of, and his answers were one word grunts.he obviously had no interest in helping me or selling anything that day. He passed me off to another sales associate, only to have that associatells tell me my questions were best answered by a Samsung rep, so I was passed back and forth TWO TIMES in the same manner. I finally bought the watch without my questions answered, and as a result ended up reforming the watch, to buy the older Neo,and THAT transaction was also a disaster, the associate on that sale tools me the watch had a camera, and I would need a bluetooth headset to make calls from it. Neither were the case when I got home. I THEN went back the last time to buy a Bluetooth headset anyway, the sales associate THAT time talked up this great deal that they had running on the Sony set that he himself used, went on and on about how this was the sale to take advantage of, because the other comparable items weren't as good, and these were only $40, on sale from over 100. After I purchased them along with a couple hundred in other items,I realised that it WAS 100, no sale price. I returned them, found the associate that sold me on them ,and he said "oh, well I guys the sales over n theta other ones that are cheaper and went back to what he was doing. So I'm filling this out,even though I will never shop at best buy again, and won't be using the 25 points they offered me to write a review. and I will be posting my experience I've had with terrible customer service to the 3000+that follow me on my social media sites and my own business sites I own.

I had formally owned a Sony Smartwatch 3 and upgraded to this unit. Although the Sony worked well for me. There is no comparison, this is what a smart watch should be. I had considered handing down my Sony to a friend but decided not to after using this unit. I advised that if he used the Sony he may find it a bit of a novelty and it could turn him off to the wearable idea. Every shortcoming has been addressed from Battery life, wireless charging, accessibility and functionality. This unit is much more mainstream friendly where as past units were for early adopters.

This is an excellent device, very lightweight and sturdy construction. There were times I didn't even realize I had it on. Battery life is excellent. Being heavy user with constant HR monitoring, It will last me easily 1.5 days. Only thing I felt missing was the limited OS. However Samsung is in the wearable market for a reason and the apps that are available show that. Overall great product and very well priced considering competition namely Moto 360 2nd gen.

I bought this item on cyber Monday because it was on such a good discount. I had been looking for a fitness tracker watch for a while, but couldn't pass up the deal on the Gear S2. The voice function works well; it tracks fitness, steps, and heart rate; and I've gone several days between charging sessions and have not run the battery completely dead yet. The only downside to this watch is that there are not a lot of options for replacement bands.

I bought this watch on release day. It's been absolutely fantastic! Easy to see, easy to read. Great battery life! I owned a moto 360 before it and this blows that out of the water. It's fast and intuitive. The rotating bezel is amazing and really helps you see the screen better. Personally, I'd love to see a lot more from smart watches, but this is finally a decent jump in the right direction. Now, give me a speaker and swype to text and I'll be set.

I wish they made it with a speaker also. It makes no sense that the 3G model is the only one that has a speaker which you can only get at your carrier. The Bluetooth version doesn't have it, which is the only inconvenience for me. I would love to speak and hear into it, they made such a beautiful watch but left out something so important. Such a shame. I would have to buy the 3G version. If you don't mind the speaker is awesome! Cool features.

Well done and executed, Samsung! Best interface among all the existing smartwatches, easy to operate. The only caveat is this watch does not have a speaker, so vibration will be the only notification indicator for you to know that there is something new.

I love this watch. One of the best purchases I've made. It didn't get 5 stars because there's no speaker equipped in it so you can't make calls from it, which I didn't find out until after I bought it. I love that when you get a notification, you can click show on phone and then it will unlock your phone and go directly to the app with your notification. Super cool, looks really stylish. Now I'm just waiting for customized wrist bands!

I bought the Gear S2 as a replacement for my Gear 2 Smartwatch. While it looks better than the Gear 2, the Gear S2 doesn't have all the applications the Gear 2 had, apps that I appreciate now that I don't have them. It is very easy to operate though and if you are looking for a good starter Smartwatch, I can recommend it. Plus, it is easy to charge, which is what the original problem I was having with the Gear S2 (broke twice on me).
