Beautiful watch; bought for my wife for Christmas. Easy to use and setup. She is not a tech expert but learned how to use it pretty quick. There is still a lot to learn, but it does some really nice things for Samsung phone users. Watch is very stylish; not cheap looking at all. Faces are customizable, from silly to snazzy and everything in between. Very happy with my purchase.

When I decided to buy a smartwatch, I thought I was buying a toy. This watch has saved me so many times, its value cannot be understated. It is so convenient to use because it ties to my Galaxy S5 (at the time of purchase) and now my Galaxy S8. I don't have to take my huge phone out of my purse or pocket to know what's going on. The watch flashes with my important notifications and even helps wake me up in the morning. For the alarm, it doesn't make noise but vibrates on my wrist. My boyfriend works nights, so I hate waking him up with a loud alarm a couple hours after he falls asleep. The watch definitely helps with that. For calling/texting, it is also a wonderful tool. In January, I went to the hospital for appendicitis. I was in the emergency room for almost 6 hours before I went into surgery. I wasn't able to get out of bed to get my phone, but I was able to text all my friends and family that were worried about me right from the watch. It was a lifesaver with all the worried people! My only complaints about the watch are that it isn't completely waterproof, the buttons tend to wear out, and the battery doesn't seem to age well. If you buy this watch, get a geek squad protection plan and you'll never have to worry!

Now I looked at several opinions on which was the best smart watch and which would be the best option for me. Keep in mind this watching can only let you send messages and view notifications and not make calls which is perfect for what I needed it for. Needless to say the battery life is amazing I could use it for up to two whole days and it would still have juice left. The rotating bezel gives it all the more wow factor. Taking messages and reading messages was a breeze after awhile. The only downside to this was the installation. I have a Nexus 6p and to get it connected I basically had to install around 3 apps which was bothersome but other than that amazing smart wear.

The basics are covered by this smartwatch. It looks great and feels comfortable. Distance tracker and pedometer are very inaccurate. I purchased the watch mostly so that I can run without carrying my phone for distance tracking and music and I can't. If only there was a way to calibrate the pedometer.

I've been waiting for Samsung to come out with this new watch and I'm not disappointed. The features are great. I love the look (unlike the big, bulky and square others). Yes, it's a little short on apps at the moment. Hopefully that is being worked on as we speak. And the band could be a little larger. Not all of us have skinny wrists. But all in all, it's a great watch.

I got this watch for my girlfriends birthday over a month ago. She absolutely loves it. She loves to text on it without having to pull out her phone at work. She can also swipe the alarm in the morning on her wrist. It finds her phone that she is always losing. Only problem is her watch strap broke on it about 3 days ago. She feels lost without this watch. Pretty funny I think. So we have to go to best buy today and get new straps. They might be under our two year warranty but you never know. Long story short this watch is an amazing product and worth every penny I spent on it. Don't buy a fit bit because this is much better.

I owned a Gear 2 Watch before this one and loved it. I decided to sacrifice the camera and upgrade. I miss the camera but the new watch is awesome. Great battery life, runs smooth, It connects to your wireless network when away from phone to update, the bevel access is cool....I could go on. Get one and I think you'll enjoy owning it....Samsung put a camera on it!

The design is far better then original. The circle dial makes it very easy to navigate the screens and scrolling. I LOVE the fact that it has a T9 keyboard for texting, and the prediction is spot on.

I've tried just about every smart watch available for Android. Samsung really hit the nail on the head with this smart watch and the rotating bezel. The bezel to me is what makes it great. Too many watches you need to swipe and swipe and swipe some more to do anything. While swipes and touches work here, the bezels and two simple buttons make it a breeze. I've seen reviews where it was gigged for apps but I dont use my small smart watch for many apps. I want weather, notifications, phone calls (to accept or decline, not to talk) and an actual watch. I had 100's of screens to download for free or paid via Samsung. I wish the battery life got more than 1 solid day. If i had light use it would last two days but I never seemed to have a problem with at least one day with heavy use.

For the price, this is really an amazing watch. I've been wearing it for about 2 months now and I have grown quite attached to it. The Tizen operating system works great and is fun to use. I can get 48 hrs of use with abouy 13% battery left afterwards. I got the silver/white watch and my only complaint is that the band can get dirty. I clean it with toothpaste and it comes clean enough but never quite that 100% factory white. Anyways I highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a break from googles andriod wear.

This is a great smartwatch! I've had it for about a month and I'm totally impressed with battery life, the graphics and apps and features available. The design looks great and it's easy to recharge with the included wireless charging station. I've had watches over the years, but never really wore them consistently. This one is fun and I wear it everyday!

I've been wanting a smart watch for a while now and thought I had finally found the one for me. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. While I liked the look and feel of this Samsung watch, I found that it didn't respond very well when i was trying to speech-text something. I also was under the impression that you could have this watch and not need to have your phone with/near you and I found that not to be the case. I did like getting notifications on my wrist of a call/text when I was in an environment where I couldn't see my phone but it wasn't worth the price. Maybe when they drop the prices a little I'll get one again. I love the white one.

This was a good purchase for me, although I usually like a little bigger watch face, I think any bigger would have been troublesome in my line of work. On other reviews I read that people don’t like the battery life, it’s ok for me because I’m changing it every other day and it works for me. Overall a great first smart watch.

The Samsung gear 2 watch is everything that a smartwatch can be, however, there are some features that would have been nice to have. Notifications are all through vibration, not sound. The sound function is available on the 3g version but one would assume that with such a basic add on for notifications sound would be included. Software for the watch is limited to what's available on the Samsung app market, which is kind of a bummer and Samsung seems that they are starting down the path of apple with the creation of their own software market. However, with those two limitations, the watch is a great product. Shealth has great functionality for the health data enthusiasts. The ability to read and compose text messages/email is great, especially when done through dictation.

I have been waiting months for Sprint to release the 3G version of this watch and at this point all carriers have the 3G watch except Sprint. I needed something to alert me of calls, texts and emails while at meetings and allow me to check without having to pull out my phone, therefore decided to purchase without the 3G capability. This watch is awesome! I can read all emails and texts (and respond), accept or reject calls and navigate through a music playlist. You are able to set various apps to your liking and the watch also includes S health which monitors your activity and vibrates to alert you of sitting too long. Working in an office, my mobility is limited and this is a great reminder to get up and move more throughout the day. I completely recommend this product!!!

Love this watch. Looks great, is very comfortable, and getting more customizable every day. There aren't nearly as many watch faces as Android Wear had, but there are new ones out almost daily. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Been using the GearS2 for about 3 weeks now and have to say it's a pretty good hybrid of smart watch and activity tracker. The one flaw being lack of apps. Hopefully this will be remedied with time. Rotating bezel is the bomb and sure to be copied by rivals in the near future.

Pros: Fun design; the rotating bezel is awesome. Has a lovely display and is quick to respond to commands. Cons: Forced to use Samsung based apps on my phone that I dislike in order to utilize functionality of the device. App store is extremely limited on free apps, and who wants to pay for apps after they just spent $200+ on a device? Pretty weak. Free Under Armor/MyFitnessPal is not enough to make it worth it. Returned after a day out of disappointment.
