I did quite a bit of research before getting the Gear 3. Great smartwatch! With bluetooth on, WiFi off, auto heart rate sensor off, and always on screen off, I am able to get 4 days out of each charge. This includes nightly workout assistance and sleep monitoring. It's quite amazing. Even with all the bells and whistles on and constantly messing with it, I can still easily go over 2 days before recharging. The band is quite comfortable even during workouts. Tizen OS is way ahead of android wear, even android wear 2.0. Have not experienced a moment of lag yet. I do not play games, watch videos, or play music on the watch. That's what my phone is for. Your needs and wants, and therefore mileage may vary. Don't know how the Gear 3 behaves with the iPhone eco system, but it's happily married to my One Plus 3t.

Upgraded from 1st generation gear s2 so this was quite an upgrade. Enjoying it so far. Battery is nice, I charge it about twice a week. Looks much better than the typical square smart watches in my opinion. Was initially afraid it would be to big on my wrist but it isn't. It also has many strap options. Overall I'm enjoying it.

I was skeptical when buying this since I have always used Android Wear for the operating system. No longer am I worried about this as this is just as nice if not better!. Unless you really like a ton of apps on your watch, then this is the watch for you. It already has a bunch I do not use so I would recommend this to anyone that is looking.

This smart watch is well made and a beautiful look. It works flawlessly with my phone and has a good array of apps that can be installed. The included leather band is somewhat thick, but this watch can use any 22mm watch band.

When paired to my Galaxy s7 this watch: tells time, sends email notifications, counts my steps, counts stairs, tracks calories earned and burned, monitors heart rate, monitors sleep, performs voice searches, let's me respond to emails with voice text. You can get lost in the endless versions of watch faces available....Oh and Fallout fans! There is a pip boy watch face! The watch is a bit pricey, but it does it all for me. People with smaller hands might find it a bit large due to the heart monitor, though it does come with a large and small leather watch band. Set up was straight-forward. It's been a few months since my purchase and I don't regret it at all. The watch also features Samsung Bill pay via NFC. The watch also can be set up to 'lock' each time it's removed.

Love this watch, and the battery last at least 2-3 days.

o my gosh, i can talk on this watch so i don't always have to have my phone with me. i get all my notifications. i can download music to it and listen to my songs from my watch. one of the best purchases ever made.

I've been debating getting a smart watch since the original Gear. Now, i'm just disappointed I waited so long! This watch is great for those who are often in meetings but, also work a job that requires you to be in constant communication with others. I thought it was going to be too big but, once I get it on, it feels perfect!

I am using my Gear S3 with an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 11. If you are looking for a smart watch that offers the look of a typical watch with the features offered by most smart watches, this is a good choice. While the iOS app has a more limited functionality than when using the Android version, I am still happy with the unit.

This watch is paired with a Samsung S8 phone. This watch is pretty nice and much better than expected. The speaker phone feature works great. I can leave my phone in my work bag and be in the other room and still answer calls. The email notifications works well too. Both Gmail and default Samsung email program work. The text message feature allows you to read and send texts. To reply, you can draw the letters or "talk to text" or use canned responses. Battery life is impressive with going about 3 days with out charging. I do not run it in "display always on mode". If you move your wrist to look at the watch it will light up. I have not really used the health features but when I try them out it works well.

The Samsung Gear 3 is a great watch that can do everything my Apple Watch can do on the IPhone. This includes making and answering calls and speaking on the watch. All you have to do is set it up through the Samsung Gear application on the cell phone, then also set it up through the Bluetooth function on the iPhone. There should be two Bluetooth connections on your iPhone. Once you have those two connections, you can make calls, answer calls and talk on the phone through the Gear 3 using your iPhone. Realistically through I don't like to talk on the phone through my watch but it's nice to know I can if I choose to. Aside from that all texts, emails, and notifications come through my Gear 3. The Gear 3 looks like a real watch as well.

Got this for my husband as a Christmas gift and he loves it!! Features he likes most: answering and making phone calls, tracking exercise activities, and the overall look and feel of it (doesn't look "cartoonish" lol).

Love this watch! Tracks all my health needs and also allows me to make payments with Samsung pay so I do not have to have my phone with me at all times. I wish there was more apps in the galaxy app store.

This bluetooth watch feels heavy, like a well made watch, without being too heavy. It has a large face, and leaving it in always on... always showing the time.. my battery lasts two days. Favorite feature: Samsung pay.
