This watch does what it claims to do, and does so perfectly. The latest firmware upgrades take some of the functionality away under the guise of improved performance. A bit of tinkering restores the look and feel of what you want though.

I've owned all 3 generations of Pebble Smartwatch and a Motorola smartwatch over the last 4 years. I must say that the Samsung Gear S3 is the best smartwatch on the market today. It's well thought-out, easy to use, powerful, complete extremely useful. Samsung Pay on this device ROCKs. It does stuff I never even dreamed of. It's a swiss army knife on your wrist. Best purchase I've made in a long time. If you're in the market for a smartwatch, don't hesitate, go out and get either the Classic or Frontier version. You'll be happy you did.

No problems with this guy it does everything you need answers phone calls reply to text control music. Plays music and all my notifications

I have really enjoyed the Samsung Gear. It tracks my daily/weekly activity and you able able to download several apps for social media and messaging notifications. The microphone and speaker works great for phone calls from the watch.

So I bought this originally for the Samsung integration aspect. I really have a lot of Samsung and google products and wanted to stick with the brand. What I have found is that the fitness tracking is excellent, the steps are almost exact when I walk. Only discrepancy is like when I am using my riding lawn mower I get a few extra steps but that is normal with the movement. I like the feature that it auto initiates a workout when you start doing a strenuous activity even if it isn't a work out it will label it as a strenuous activity. Samsung Health ap is great and does a ton to work with the Gear. My only reason for not giving a 5th start is because it has poor integration with other fitness apps such as google fit. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Good looking, bright and easy to learn how to fully enjoy it.

From just seeing the time again without getting my phone out of my pocket to amazing things like paying at the convenience store without getting my wallet out, this is hands down one of the best purchases I've made in quite a while.

I like it but it's really bulky! Just wish it was thinner.

Love the text and health apps!! Also Samsung pay is handy.

Ok so I have had every tracker out there and I can finally say I'm happy with this one. It's not perfect but it's near it. I never miss a call or a text and the battery last me a good 3 days. Samsung health needs some improvement but that's not the watches fault. I wish they carried a smaller version for women. It looks a bit big on my wrist but the overall features makes it ok. You can add apps that actually work. The connectivity is constant so I get my calls and text real time unlike any of the 4 different fitbits I owned.

I don't know why everyone jumps on the Apple bandwagon so much, especially when other companies such as Samsung have superior products. This watch can be used with phones that are not Samsung that display superior quality and features for about the same price. I disliked the Gear S2 because the lock that held the bands broke off basically making the watch useless, unless, one wants to go back to 19th century pocket watches. This seems to be solidly built and I look forward to using for several more years.

Love the Samsung - Gear S3 Classic Smartwatch 46mm. The only issue is it is BIG (fro a female wrist), lol. If you're not used to wearing a watch, it takes some time getting used to. Love the functionality of it though.

This is by far the best smartwatch out on the market right now, I love to use mu Samsung Pay on it and the battery life last me 2 full dayd

I reviewed smart watches, bought 2 other brands and returned them due to limited features. I had given my Gear2 to a family member and decided to go back to a Gear smartwatch. I'm glad I did. The only drawback for me is as a small woman the watch looks huge on my wrist....but love the watch so wear it anyway!

I am very impressed with the watch. It has many health related options as well as great with notifications and phone calls.

After seeing my friend's Apple watch, I knew I wanted to get a Gear S3. Connecting the watch to my phone was really easy. I don't use the Always On watch face feature, so the battery lasts all day...I usually end up at around 50-60% battery at the end of the day. I could probably get 2 full days out of it, but I charge it every night just to be safe. My favorite feature is the built in speaker...being able to have a phone call or listen to music through the S3 is awesome. Eat your heart out Apple!

First watch I bought and it is awesome. Easy to maneuver, voice call sounds great, and looks awesome with a suit or sweatpants.

Great watch to pair up with any other Samsung devices or bluetooth devices great battery and awesome downloads apps

I upgraded from S2 rose gold to S3 classic and I love that they finally added the availability to use your watch to answer your calls and talk through it. Speaker volume is very good. Unfortunately there is no ladies version on S3. Size on this boy is quite large and took me a while to get used to it after owning a smaller rose gold. There are really no other big differences besides looks and added speaker which sucks. I was expecting a little more excitement with widgets. Maybe new cool stuff.
