The watch is great, just wish it had a camera for pictures, overall it is a great watch to have.

This watch looks great and has pretty decent battery life for a wearable, however the english voice dictation stopped working about a week ago. Im guessing its on samsungs end because my gear s2 is suffering from the same issue. Its sad because I love this watch. Hopefully they fix it soon.

About 2 and half years ago i got the gear 2 but it ended up snapping a few weeks later. This is way better than that version. The phone works really well and the samsung pay is pretty convenient. I use it for tracking my sleep and activity mainly. And I love the reminder to get up and move.

I don't see myself getting away from a Samsung phone any time soon so went with a smart watch that should have 100% compatibility. So far so good, its step counter is more accurate than my phone, tho I've noticed a few times in a Costco it wont count my steps.. not sure whats up there. But other "health" apps are nice, Being able to see my texts and actually feel it vibe on my wrist is nice when my phone is buried in a pocket or sitting somewhere not on me. Using my watch for tap to pay is nice... I've been slow on the uptake of that feature, but it's been handy not having to dig in pockets to pay for things.

I've been wanting this watch for about a year. Finally 'Santa" heard my request and I got one this holiday. It does everything I say it does. Call, Texts, give you notifications on social media like Twitter and Facebook. I even get notifications from WhatsApp. It records my sleep and tells me to get moving when I've been sitting still to long, even tracks my step count. So many ways to personalize the watchface I pick a new one each week. All the various apps from Find my phone to voice recorder for making that instant reminder and not wanting to pull out you phone. It's all right there, on my wrist. I really couldn't be happier with a gift.

I love being able to talk through the speaker. Very clear and easy to understand. The watch has a long battery life. There are several widget options. I would recommend this watch.

Very classy looking, rubber band (not leather), and lasts 3 days or so if I turn it off when I get home from work every day. That's what I wanted and that's what this has!

Awesome device. It is a stellar mobile device/accessory. I may only pick up my cell phone 2 or 3 times a day because it has such a well thought interface that it can handle just about anything the phone can do. Lets be honest. No one surfs the internet on a 2 inch screen. The watch makes it extremely easy for me to take care of all calls, calendar, text, email, alarms and that is just the basics it does and does them well. You wont know a smart watch can make your mobile experience so easy until you've had one for a couple weeks. If you have any doubt please trust and believe this is one excellent device. Happy shopping and seriously go for it, you will love it.

I'm an iPhone user and Apple fanatic and i can say that this watch is one of the best smartwatches i have ever used. I actually like its build quality and aesthetics better than the Apple Watch. I prefer it's UI over Apple Watch's UI. The rotating bezel is sleek looking, it rotates smoothly in both directions and is great for scrolling through your apps / notifications in a breeze so that your index finger or thumb is never in the way blocking your view when trying to read the screen. The AMOLED screen is beautiful (i like it better than Apple Watch screen). It is a pretty robust and large-faced watch and on the heavier side (which i really like). This watch is really noticeable on the wrist. You might want to cover it up with your sleeve if you live in a rough city like me. Here is the reason i had to return my Samsung S3 after a week: Yes, this Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch will connect to an iPhone via bluetooth; HOWEVER, many of the features on this smartwatch are NOT AVAILABLE when paired with an iPhone. Let me give a list of some that i experienced: 1) unable to send reply texts (read only). 2) unable to ping iPhone with watch (but you can ping watch with iPhone) 3) unable to use the phone feature on your watch (cannot answer or make calls); However, it does notify you that someone is calling you. The Samsung app for iOS is supposed to allow the watch to answer calls but it didn't work for me on my iPhone X. 4) S Voice (similar to Siri) does not work with watch; 5) Unable to respond/reply to email notifications. 6) mobile payments do not work. 7) other issues i had were perhaps bug issues that could have been resolved through a firmware update i.e. transferring music, pics, data, etc. was really slow. This watch also was inconsistent syncing all my contacts information i.e. my wife called me but only her phone number appeared on my screen. Another time she called, her name appeared.As i scroll through all my contacts on my watch, they were just phone numbers, and some of the names appeared. The Samsung S3 is perhaps one of the greatest smartwatches in the market; however it is not so great when paired with an iPhone. I assume that it is best paired with a Samsung smartphone. I love this watch but it is not for me. I am not willing to leave the Apple eco system since i love my MacBook Pro too much. In conclusion, i can highly recommend this smartwatch for non-iPhone users only. For iPhone users, this watch is primarily good for health / fitness tracking, reading texts/notifications, and not so much of anything else.

It handles messages, phone calls, and most importantly for me, it tracks activity & heart rate as accurately as you allow it to do. Better battery life that previous smart watches I've owned ... but that's still a work in progress. You won't lament this purchase.

Coming from an Apple Watch (Series 1 & 2) I thought I was going to have a difficult time adjusting to the Samsung Gear S3. Finally a smart watch that looks and feels like a real watch! I've gotten more complements wearing​ the gear S3 than my Apple watch. Especially when I use the Samsung Pay feature, it is a breeze at the counter and people always have the "what the heck did he just do?" look on their faces lol. The only thing that I didn't like was the bands were to stiff, they took awhile to break in. Now they form perfectly with my wrist. I do like that you can put almost any other watch band on the Gear S3. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this watch for my husband for Father's Day. It was a great purchase! So far, this watch has good battery life, it's easy to use, and it's a good size.

I've been using this daily for about a month and I love it. The buttons, touch screen, and rotating bezel make a great trio for easy navigation. The watch syncs well with my phone and the health integration is fantastic. I have been using it to track my runs and play music while on them and it excels at them. I'm not a huge dan of the guided workouts but they may be useful for some. As far as the smart watch portion it's easy to pull up info I need like weather, control media on my phone or even make payments with Samsung pay. I have not tested the water resistance of the watch and don't really plan on it. I just hope it works if I need it.

This is the 2nd smart watch I bought. This Samsung watch is great. Battery lasts for 2 days without an issue. Charging is pretty fast. Good looking too. Works perfectly with the S8+.

I owned a fitbit for years and decided on this watch. It works great for what I need. Tracks just like the Fitbit did. I did have some trouble setting up samsung pay. It took about 3 tries and was a little frustrating but got it to work. Watch works great and looks good.

Everything that Samsung said it you be, very easy to use. Love the dial and the fact that I feel like its a new watch every time with just a face and band change.

I bought this watch for my husband for Father's Day, and he loves it! I was initially hesitant to buy it because it looks "clunky" and too large in the online photographs; but it looks great on him. He just raves about. I am glad I waited until this watch was released, versus buying one of the older models. The battery life is great - his only problem with this watch is eventually having to take it off. I am an Apple user, so I have the Apple watch; I have to say I'm jealous of this one. I cannot believe how many faces you can download - he had a new face everyday. I wish they made one smaller for a women - I may be a converter to Samsung if they did.

My husband loves watches but now only wears this one daily. The other watches have been put up for special occasions. He loves all of the functions this watch has.

This watch is very durable, picks up activities, and connects with my phone with ease. I would recommend picking up a screen/glass protector because you'll want to hold onto the watch
