I am extremely happy with this purchase. I am a fan of Samsung items and have used several smartwatchs for more than 5 years. I started with a Fitbit, and then switched to the first version of Samsung Gear Fit. Since that time all my watches have been Samsung. I tested the models with Tizen system and with Android Wear. With the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, I found the perfect solution for my daily routine for both my sporting activities and work. Extremely simple to set up, very easy to use and really made with very good quality materials. It is without a doubt that I recommend the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier.

This watch is great. The battery life is as advertised and it allows me to track my activity and sleep for about three days. It also tracks fitness which is a plus.

I'd have to say that I'm very happy with this purchase! My other sports watch band broke and it was so old that I couldn't get a replacement band so I started looking for other options. I wanted something that had a digital time face, but also looked dressy to where you could wear it anywhere and on any occasion. I've always liked Samsung products so I took a look at all of the reviews and specs on the watch. Needless to say I went and bought it. It does not require a data plan like some other smartwatches do because you can sync it to your phone through bluetooth. You set it up on your phone through an app with Samsung and you can do everything through it to changing the watch face, adding apps to have on your watch, selecting which notification you want sent to your watch from apps on your phone. You get the picture. The watch is easy to use and easy to get used to once you play around with it for a couple days. Battery life is amazing, the first week I charged it to 100% once I got it out of the box which was on a Tuesday, and I didn't have to charge it again until Sunday. It just all depends on how much you use the watch features each day of the week. I use them pretty frequently and the battery life is still awesome. I only let the battery percent get down to about 10 to 15% and then I let it charge all the way to 100% which doesn't take long at all. All in all, this is an amazing Smartwatch from Samsung and I'd highly recommend giving it a try! You wont be disappointed!

I have been wanting this watch for a while now and my wife surprised me with it as an early Christmas present. My wife and I have all apple products but I’m not a fan of the Apple Watch. I like the look of a traditional watch and since this one is mostly compatible with iPhone, it caught my attention pretty quick. I’m not the most tech savvy person so it doesn’t bother me that I can’t reply to a text on the device. I’ve worn it in the shower with no problems and I like the rotating bezel. I also get just over 2 days of battery life. Overall, I am very satisfied with watch

I have been wearing the S3 Frontier for a few months now and I will say that the watch is comfortable. The watch has stood up to daily usage without a problem and the battery life last around 3 days with average use. Average use include text, email, phone call notifications. I have answered the phone a few time using the watch and the call clarity is good, no one has stated any complaints about how I sounded. Using Samsung pay is simple as well. In the sun i have had problems seeing the screen but any digital watch and phone will have this issue.

I love this watch... but this is supposed to be the top Samsung smartwatch... and it was until the gear sport did some things better and 99% of the rest the S3 can do the same... the S3 should have had the same water rating, not less than the gear sport and the S3 should have had the tizen 3.0 right when the gear sport did... the delay on S3 is update and less water resistance makes it less of a flagship watch than the sport. On the flip the sport doesn't have a speaker... samsung should have either made the gear sport an upgrade by having all the features of the S3 incl. the speaker or at the very least made the S3 update way more timely to 3.0 to help offset the sport's water rating advantage. Still awesome watch (both awesome actual S3 & Sport) but Do your research carefully before choosing the S3 as you may like the Sport as much or better.

The Gear S3 is an amazing watch especially if, you have a Samsung phone, you could customize the watch, and change the band's, as well a use Samsung pay.

This watch can do it all, very feature packed. However, your functionality will be slightly reduced if not used in conjunction with a Samsung phone, so bear that in mind. With that aside, the build quality is excellent. Haven't even put a screen protector on it and the glass has held up to the abuse its seen while I'm at work. The watch is waterproof and though I don't usually wear in while in the shower it works fine if you forget to take it off. The fitness tracking and other apps you can launch work well and it's been a joy to use with my Note 8. Notifications show up as soon as they do on my phone and the vibration is strong enough to notice even if you're distracted with something else. You can also make calls from the watch itself as long as it has a bluetooth connection to your phone. The screen can get really bright and colors really pop on this watch. I'm getting about 2 1/2 days of battery life on this with the screen brightness at 4. Your mileage will vary depending on your preferred brightness and how much you use the watch. Overall, I would highly recommend this if you own a Samsung phone. Pairing was a breeze and you can customize this watch to fit your use style however you see fit. It is large compared to other smartwatches but if you have large hands it shouldn't stick out much, if at all.

Having had this watch for 4 months now I can tell you I absolutely love it. Its durable, I've had no issues with the band or the face itself. I get about 3 days use before I have to charge it again. Its comfortable to wear even being larger size. It's nice not having to pull my phone out of my pocket all the time to see my notifications or better yet... the time!

I'm a longtime Samsung Smart watch owner (Gear, Gear S, Gear S2, and Gear S3 Frontier) with the Gear S3 Frontier, it suits me very well. Some would say, "it's too big" nah, it's just right for any wrist. It's Informative, sleek, battery lasting, did I mention that it looks great on your wrist too?? Samsung Pay??!! Ooo Yeah a winner! The looks people give you is priceless!

I use this everyday for work since I can't use it on the Sales Floor, so I must have another means of being notified about my important events in my life. You are able to set what apps you want notifications from, call with a built-in microphone and a speaker to complete hands free calls while driving, and also can play music with the in-house speaker as well. Can text with typing the letters or drawing them at a faster speed (can be hard to get used to). Overall, I absolutely love it and after getting a screen protector for it, it is extremely durable too!

I now own three smartwatches for Android--Garmin Fenix 2, Moto 360 2nd Edition and now Samsung Gear S3 Frontier. While the Garmin is a very durable, outdoor activity smartwatch; the Samsung Gear S3 rivals both the others in functionality and also in looks! Beautiful construction with endless watch face options through the Play store. Highly recommend this smartwatch.

One of the best watches I've owned. The battery lasts 4 days, great for workouts and great for notifications. I can even receive calls.

I paired the Samsung Gear s3 Frontier with my iPhone 6. Even though not all features are available being paired to an iPhone, it gives me my notifications, emails, texts, make and receive phone calls, and health information such as steps, heart rate and etc. After doing some settings, I can get about four days per charge. I would recommend this watch to anyone.

This watch is great. The watch faces that can be installed look great on the OLED screen. I love the fitness tracking, especially auto fitness tracking. The turning bezel is outstanding and truly sets the Gear S3 apart from other smart watches. The only downside to me is the watch is a little too big when wearing a long sleeve shirt.

Bought this to replace my Peeble Time. So far I'm very satisfied with the Gear 3. It is easy to learn and use. It has very good visibility in bright or dim light, a very sharp OLED display with excellent contrast. It reliably receives all notifications and stays connected with no BlueTooth disconnects. So far I'm getting 4+ days of battery life per charge with moderate use (50-60 notifications per day) and GPS turned off. Recharges wirelessly in a little over 1 hour. BTW, my smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

I bought this for my husband for our 7th wedding anniversary. He'd been eyeballing the Fossil one for awhile, but he wasn't thrilled with how far off the wrist it sat (bulky/large). So I grabbed him this one. He really likes it. He likes that he's able to turn the watch face to stay on all the time. Also, you can switch it to watch only mode and have the battery last a very long time. He wishes there were more free apps, but otherwise this is probably the best reaction I've gotten from him on a gift in 11 years.

Truly enjoy my Gear S3 watch! It's a tremendous watch with more snazzy and elegant free watch faces than I use. The apps are very handy, including SHealth & connectivity apps. Even with watch face "off," got a compliment on how nice the watch looked. Battery lasts a very long time, a huge plus. Also connects great with my S8 phone, though it even synchs with iPhone, though not full functionality. This watch is my daily wear timepiece. It isn't cheap; but, you'll be happy to put one of your wrist!

You get a lot of value for what you pay for the Gear S3 Frontier. It really works great if you pair it with a Samsung smart phone, but it does very well other Androids and even IOS phones. You get your choice of what apps you want to get notified from, and you can call and receive texts and calls to and from it. You can customize it to your liking with tons of pre-made faces, or custom ones of your own. All of the really good apps are free too. Scrolling through everything is really nice too, using the circular bezel to browse. You can also get several types of custom color bands, and even bezel covers to make it really yours. Being able to use Samsung Pay through the NFC on the watch is smooth too, and you don't even have to have your phone with you to use it! I have had a great experience with the Samsung Health App too, tracking exercises, steps, and even swimming (It's very water resistant) It is a little large, but still feels nice and comfortable. It has a really quality feel and build to it, and holds up to heavy use without showing a lot of scratches either. Overall, I think anybody that purchases this watch would be extremely happy with it!

I'm not an Apple fan and I love the fact that this smart watch looks like a watch. It does everything that my wife's apple watch does but holds a charge for close to three days. The step tracking works better than Apple and the rotating dial works a lot better than trying to select such a small icon. The Samsung gear app is okay and there are tons of sweet free watch dials to choose from. Couldn't be happier but wish best buy had more watch bands in store, the big "A".com has them beat. So far loving it.
