The gear S3 easier to use than the S2 with the bigger face not by much just better for my hands. I do have big fingers

The watch was a gift for my son. He loves it and is so impressed with all the features and how easy it is to use.

I am thrilled that they gave back the ability to make and receive calls from the watch, however, it's heavy and bulky and not a very good selection of apps plus you're only allowed to have 15 apps.

I use the Samsung Pay function all the time, a few clicks, put the watch next to the card reader, transaction complete

There is no doubt that this watch has a massive number of features and to call it a watch is not really descriptive of what it can do. I wish the battery lasted a little longer and gave a slightly earlier warning of low level to allow better scheduling of recharging. I would have given this 5 stars but for the fact that the Samsung rep who was supposed to demonstrate the functions knew a lot about phones but not nearly as much about the watch, thus learning all the capabilities has been an expedition into the unknown. Definitely worth waiting for a sale to buy new rather than reconditioned. If it has reliability I will view this as a very good purchase.

You pay for what you get, its a tad expensive but is practically a phone on your wrist, does just about everything

Decided to give this watch a try to go with my Samsung S8. I already own a Moto 360 2nd Gen that I love. I really like the bold look and feel of the Gear S3 Frontier. The ability to scroll through the menu with the bezel is great. The selection of watch faces is nice as well. Battery life is easily 3 days. My only concern is with the OS which is Tizen instead of Android Wear OS. I find the Wear OS has more function with the apps already on my phone and reacts better than the Tizen OS. But the additional features on the S3 Frontier make it a winner. Even using the watch as a speaker phone while my actual phone is charging across the room is great.

Works fairly well with a nonSamsung Android phone if you do some tweaking. The basic Android messenger texting app will not send messages to the watch, but an app I downloaded Textra does. Email works well, although I found it too annoying to get my 100 emails each day giving me a phone alert. Works well at answering phone calls and letting you talk on watch to answer calls. I find it to be a convenient way to get important text messages when at work without pulling out a phone and staring at it. I would be concerned about info I read about coding problems which make the watch vulnerable to hacks. For this reason I have not downloaded any apps but find the watch suits my purposes.

I purchased the gear S3 Frontier in early April. I saw that it had dropped in price a bit, and thought that it would be a good companion for my new traveling job. I like the aesthetic of the watch and it does a good job tracking activities. I do not use it as much as others use their wearables, but being able to see a message come in when you are in a situation that frowns on pulling your phone out... This thing rocks. You can dictate messages or take a phone call on your wrist. It's great and a fraction of the price of Apple iwatch. Keep an eye on the price of this product, rumors say it may drop to around $120.

Had a Gear S2 and wore it practically every day. About 2 years in, the bands broke. Geek Squad refunded me and I bought the S3. I've been very happy with my new watch. Does everything the S2 did plus more with GPS and phone calls. Tracks exercise activity, messages, email, and tells time! Syncs with my Galaxy S9. I think they're going to discontinue the S3 if they haven't already. Got a good deal on it after Thanksgiving for $199.

So far I have had this watch for a little over a week. Works great. Battery lasts about 2 days. Wish the bluetooth range was a little better. Easy to transfer files from phone to watch.

Such an amazing watch. I got this watch and it replaced my Apple Watch. The screen and battery life is like no other.
