In my opinion, this is currently the best overall smartwatch currently available. Although that does not make it perfect. One of the main things that needs improvement is water resistance rating. The Apple watch 2 and 3 and even the new Samsung Gear Sport is water resistant up to 50 meters while the Samsung Gear S3 has a water rating of ip8 which makes it only able to handle up to 1.5 meter.

I bought this watch hoping that it would record my sleep, I have had it now for 2 months and it works great for that and more. Walking, running, keeping me up to date with messages with out jabbing to take my phone out for each one. Would recommend to anyone

I wanted a way to be able to track my fitness, my steps, check the time, and other notifications without looking at my cellphone. Being an EMT, I require a watch that has a second hand. This smartwatch has all the necessities I need and want! I am loving it!

Watch is elegant, sporty, and fairly fast for most operations. The ability to create your own watch faces using Samsung software is very nice, but only if it works correctly. As it is at the time of this review, animated faces will freeze after some time if you have the lates Tizen ver 2.3.2.3 and there are users and developers complained no about online. Samsung has not given any explanation. The altimeter is crazy giving me negative altitud. Not like I use it but is pointless to trust it. The rest works as intended, nice resolution on the screen, and somewhat accurate count for steps and workout. Hopefully the next Tizen update will fix the issues and hopefully the next generation watches will be a little bit smaller (too thick) and be really water proof so you can actually swim and even dive with them. But until then, this gives watch is a good option for a smart watch.

The functionality and beauty of this watch out ranks all other Android wear. Yes, it does not have as many apps as the Android Wear, but honestly, much do you really need to do ON your watch. Bezel is beautiful and there are many options for watch straps.

Absolutely love this watch. I've had it for a few months, so plenty of time to try it out. Samsung Pay at nearly any credit card terminal is awesome. I think its way more useful than on the phone because I don't have to pull anything out. I can pay while holding my infant daughter in my hands no problem. Notifications and Apps are great for the most part, although the speech recognition is a little iffy when it doesn't say it can't find a connection (like 25% of the time it errors out.) I also love that it looks like a watch rather than tech that mounts to your wrist.

This watch is so great. Gives me all of my notifications without needing to look at my phone. The screen is extremely clear and you can't even tell that it's a digital watch! And it charges extremely fast too all while holding a charge for at least 3 days.

This is one of the most amazing and useful devices I have ever owned. The choice of watch faces is never ending. The Samsung health app is broken down into diffrent screens on the watch, which is super easy to use. I would but this watch again and again!

I have had this watch for a while now and it functions 100% even though I have really put it to the test. I do a lot of mechanic work as well as chainsaw and logging work. To be fair I took the band from my old Moto watch because it is metal and doesnt open up fully, so I dont know how the band would have held up. but the watch is awesome, works perfectly with my Samsung phone. I am very happy with it. Also, the battery works perfectly as the day I brought it home. I can't say enough good things about this watch.

The watch is very elegant, very good construction materials and an incredible design. It is very smooth and everything works perfect, the battery lasts three days. The opretivo system is much better than Android wear. It's the best smart watch I've had

Finally pulled the trigger on my 1st smartwatch. Was wary of how it work and if it be worth it. Opted for S3 instead of Galaxy watch mainly because of MST on S3 . Been using for about a month now. With normal use (Location, WiFi, GPS on) , battery last for 50-54hrs for me. Which is far more than sufficient for me. Have used Samsung Pay on it without any issue on NFC as well as MST Terminal. Lastly I was afraid of watch being too loose on my wrist (Skinny lolz) but surprisingly I insert the strap on 3rd last hole.

I purchased the original Samsung smartwatch and switched to the GearFit 2 after 2 years and was disappointed. I decided to make the move to the S3 Frontier and am very impressed and pleased. It has plenty of features, works well for fitness tracking and outstanding for communications and notifications. I'm still learning all the features but highly recommend it for its quality so far. From the styling standpoint, it has a rugged non-smartwatch look, and I've purchased an additional band to dress it up as needed. Overall, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

I waited 2 years to get this watch and I LOVE It! Works seamlessly with my Note 8. Excellent apps and watch faces.software is always getting updated with new options. Seen watches priced 4 times more expensive that can't do what this watch does.

My only complaint is the size of the watch, it's way bigger than the Moto360 I wore previously but the improved battery performance is well worth it - getting 2 days usage pretty easily. The S3 pairs great with the Note 8 and all the watch features work well, the Samsung Health app is fantastic. The watch definitely has a premium look and is comfortable on the wrist.

OK, I have been on the waiting list for a month. I picked up my S3 Frontier today and right out of the box I am impressed. This is a Mans watch! Perfect in weight and size. Ive had the Gear S2 since it released and liked it but being a watch collector and enthusiast, I prefer a larger watch. The weight is nice and the feel screams quality. The bezel action is very smooth. The first thing I did was answer a telephone call with the watch. The sound quality is superb in quite surroundings. The person on the other end could not tell that I was talking through the watch and sounded like any other phone call. The display is large (compared to the S2) and is extremely crisp. It would appear the S3 is loaded with new features, many of which I have not even explored yet. I am VERY pleased thus far with this watch and look forward to seeing all the new features it has to offer.

Love my s3. Went from s2 to s3 frontier. At 1st thought it was to big for my small wrist but after changing band to a soft mint green color it made it more feminine! battery life is awesome,phone calls work great and love the large screen !

Since I purchased this watch its the only one I wear. Its casual enough to wear day to day and still stylish enough to wear to work or events. Being able to get notifications without having to look at my phone every time is very convenient.

I'm just getting to know the capabilities of the S3 frontier, but so far I love it. S-health and the mobile Samsung pay features make this product worth it for me. -1 star because the step counter isn't as accurate as my fitbit Blaze, and because Samsung Pay was a MILD hassle to setup(it may have been my bank's fault, I don't know, but a hassle is a hassle).

I really liked this watch after playing with them in the store. The S2 looks great too. Bought this one for my husband as it had a better battery life. Had to return it as he said he won't use it. Love the way it moves by rotating the dial.

I love how good it looks on my wrist and how easy it is to use. The only thing that might be a con is that on some people it may look enormous. I have big wrists, so I'm fine, but for people who are of smaller build this watch might not be for you.
