The watch is very sleek, stylish, and seemingly durable, but there are a few things I'm dissatisfied with. One of the things I dislike the most is the virtual assistant. I thought that it would be very useful in composing text messages and making calls, but often doesn't work. It comes up with error messages and has a long way to go before it can compete with Android's "Okay, Google" or Amazon's "Alexa" technologies. Other than that, it works very well as a watch and fitness tracker. It keeps time as well as your phone does and offers many different watch faces built-in along with many others available to download. The fitness app is very useful and works pretty well alongside the app on my phone (I have a OnePlus 5). Samsung Pay, music controls, and many other features work very well, but it is hard to not be disappointed with the virtual assistant.

Started my wearable tech journey about a year ago... looked for a fitbit HR but bought a Garmin instead... liked it, but as soon as the Gear Fit2 went on sale (to $150), I got it... and started looking for the 'next one'... before long, saw that the S3 Frontier price had been reduced (to $300), so couldn't resist and went for it... and have been very happy ever since... easy to get used to.... feels a bit big at first and takes a day or two to feel comfy with the lay out, navigation, etc., but when I thought of it, was already in love... Can take calls from it, listen to music, control just about everything and to my needs, the fitness metrics are great... and interacts perfectly with my S7 Edge phone... wondering what will be next!

I have been a samsung fan since they first introduced the galaxy line of phones. So when they came out with these watches i was excited to get my hands on the product i have the gear neo used that untill the samsung frontier came out. Let me tell you i am very pleased with this product. I never leave home with out it.

Too many upgrades from Gear 2 Classic to mention. Here are my favorites. AoD really is slick. Battery life two days easily. I'm a business user and get plenty of notifications. New faces rock. Highly recommended.

I recently had bought this for my father as a gift and let me tell you, he practically wears it everyday. He's always been the type not to sport smart watches because he's old school and much rather have an analog watch without all the high tech crap in it but boy was I surprised, he's always describing features this watch has and praises about it every week. I definitely would recommend this smart watch. It has many features, from Samsung pay so you would have to pull out your wallet anymore, it is also waterproof so you can literally take a dive into the deep waters without worrying. It connects and sync with your Android phone seamlessly. I give this watch five stars!

I originally bought this watch to extend my battery life, and limit the amount of times I had to take my phone out of my pocket while working or walking around. If that's the main function of owning this watch, I guess it's perfect. But now I use it as a running watch, because loading music onto it and leaving my phone elsewhere, this thing is perfect. It can take a beating, it has excellent tracking and runs that are under 4-5 hours the battery holds up perfectly. As a watch for running, I can't recommend it enough. Anything super long I use my Garmin, but anything 20 miles and under, this is one of the best running watching I've owned.

Tracks calories burned, steps, lets you set goals, alarms, stopwatch and even music! Use it for my morning runs every morning. Very durable and comes with two size straps, regular and small. Would recommend!

The gear s3 is awesome does everything I need it to, makes calls sends text, plays music from the watch and my phone. Tracks my fitness. The battery life is pretty decent for me, since I use it 24/7

I was lucky enough to have Sean help me. He owned the watch that I was looking at. With his assistance my mind was made up and decided to purchase right there and then. Usually I shop then go on line shopping to beat the price. But you can't beat the customer service that this gentlemen did. 5stars for the sales rep

I love my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smart watch. It is easy to use,easy to see,great features and graphics. Comfortable,stylish,so much more. Love Samsung products,very happy with this smart watch.

I got this as a gift for my mom and she loves it! It works well with her Samsung S8 plus. In my opinion the face is a bit big for a woman’s wrist (compared to my 38mm Apple Watch) but my mom likes it.

It's pretty awesome. It has great range on Bluetooth, beautiful design, easy to use, awesome clarity on both speaker and microphone when making calls, waterproof (well, nearly buy it won't get ruined underwater up to 5 feet ), and has so many useful apps that you won't get bored or impressed. And again, it has so many cool and constantly updated watch faces that are simply bad @$$. Oh, and the battery life? With the watch face always on you are looking at 2 days use. In the smart eco function it's 3-4 days with normal use. Only 2 hours for a low to full charge, too. Everyone comments on this watch that they are very impressed. So, if you want a smart watch, get one that works and is the most impressive in all categories.

Works great with my Android phone..Battery lasts for 1 - 2 days with decent workout. Customized dials option is pretty good and I keep changing when I need a new look. Gps is a great feature for runners

It is helpful and saves a lot of time. You can do many things with this watch. Calling Alarm sending text SMS.

Works great with samsung pay at most places where you can swipe your card, has 3-4 day battery life, sensors work great, and still better than the galaxy watch that recently came out

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. This watch was incredibly easy to sync and set up. Along with all of the functions, ease of use, and durability, this is definitely a great purchase!

Definitely better than the S2. The S2 broke in less than a month. It's better made. I like the the rotating dial witch makes it easier to navigate the apps. Looks more of watch. Very easy to sync and use.

Bought this for Christmas to replace his Fitbit and he couldn't have been happier. He loves the speaker on it...volume goes pretty high. There are so many things he can do. The quality of the watch is pretty amazing. Has some weight to it which he seems to like. Looks more manly than the Fitbit that he had.

This is the third Samsung Gear watch I have purchased and it is the best one yet. The battery lasts for two days, it has many watch faces to choose from, and it is great for running.

Excellent smart watch to track your workout activities. Nice watch faces for download is a plus to it's beauty. Durable and long lasting battery based on my usage.
