Samsung is aware of this issue and they are doing nothing to remedy this. Samsung listen to your customers! Otherwise it's a great watch.

So navigating through another device, to use it's watered down features (vs. my Galaxy 7 phone) wasn't worth it. Even the S-Health features were so-so. I'm getting a fit bit.

This was a Christmas gift, waiting to see what Samsung has to say. I am hoping that this is a defective watch. Not a problem with all G3 watches

I loved it, but it wouldn't work with texts or phone calls or anything, and I do have an android phone (HTC 10). It was an awesome thing, but only for those with Samsung phones.
