Great screen, nothing else
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a pebble too and I like it better. The advantages of this watch are - 1. Great screen 2. Bevel navigation 3. Solid construction and that's about it. Poor selection of apps.

Hummm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well what can I say. Have to give this one star. First smart watch I have purchased so nothing to compare with. I Like the features it has. The health meters are suspect as far as the step count and all but that's to be expected for a wrist worn device. 15 min on my tractor and had over 10K in steps. That's not the devices fault. in any case the real reason for the 1 star rating is the lack of distance it will work from the phone. Lets face it smart phones are heavy and my reason for the watch purchase was to get away from having the phone on me at all times. 30 feet is about all its good for, if there is a wall then less than that. So unless I am in the same room with the phone it disconnects, so texts, email, calls, ETC are no more. Have had the watch in many environments from the outdoors to the office, and so on, and 30 feet is it unobstructed line of site. So my main reason for the smart watch is of no use. I at least expected that I could use the watch in my home without having the phone on me. My home is a rectangle at 32 feet by 55 feet. So what is the point of the Smart watch. Yes after the fact I have learned that their are watches that basically are phones but, along with a high purchase price there is another monthly fee to go along with that as the watch has its own number. I have learned in my life that a fool and his money are soon parted and to have another monthly fee for such a convenience is ridicules. Rollyman Out

Battery dies quickly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery dies real quick and this makes it not a good choice fir a watch. They advise one to send it back for an upgrade but it does not work better

Good android smartwatch but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for android market but it gives you rashes when you wear the watch. Didn't expect this from a big company like Samsung. They need to do better.

Great hardware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the watch for the hardware. The software is another story. Not terrible but coming from Android wear I couldn't get used to it. Switched back to an Android wear watch.

Worst Purchase of the Year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my watch for over a year. I have sent the watch back to Samsung under warranty. They identified the battery as faulty. Claimed they "fixed" the problem and returned the watch. That was in July 2018, the last month of my warranty. Now it is Oct 2018, the battery charged for about a month or so. For about 2-3 weeks now the battery will not hold a charge. I plan to call Samsung to see if the warranty will be extended due the the fact that they did not fix the problem. My advice "Stay away from Samsung Watches" . Great looking watch, but looks is all is has going for it.

Xmas gift gone wrong
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife got me a Gear S3 as a Xmas gift. When I was looking at it, I specifically asked the Samsung guy (he had one on his wrist), How long will it go on a charge? His reply about 3 days. And sure enough it last for about 3 days. I wore the watch for about 2 weeks, everyday, with no problem. I decided to break out one of my other watches. I didn't wear s3 for two days. During this time, I turned it off. And left it laying on the dresser. I didn't want to leave it sitting on the charger the whole time. When I turned it back on, I didn't check the charge, thinking it should have a full charge. Later that day, it alerted me that the battery was getting weak at 15%. Figured it was not as strong as I thought it was and kinda brushed it off. Charged it that night, put it on the next day (yesterday). I got up at 6:00 am SSS, got dressed, and put the S3 on. Before I got off work at 5:00 pm, it buzzed saying the battery was low again at 15%. On the way home, I stopped and got a cut-up, during which the watch died. Not even 7:00 pm. So in about 12 hours, the watch went from full charge to dead. Far less then the 3 days I was getting a week before. Went to Best Buy. Was told the battery is jacked. Went home packed the watch and all charger in box (which I still had). Returning the watch this evening. Not exchanging, RETURNING. I currently have a Note 5. Was about to get a Note 7 (I'm sure you can guess why I didn't). I'm starting to get leery of Samsung altogether (other than TV's).

Liked it until it died in less than 2 months
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent smartwatch that worked well, but after only 7 weeks of use, it got stuck in a never ending reboot cycle. Factory reset did not fix it. Samsung customer service is a joke. If you try to get help on their website, you find broken links and no one there to chat. 45 minutes on thr phone with no resolution. I'm still wading through the warranty process, but I have yet to receive the shipping label promised. Very bad experience so far. I shouldn't be surprised as dealing with Samsung warranty is never a positive experience.
