    Great Watch!!!

I bought this Jan 2018, now it is Nov 2023. I love this watch. Pros: Various watch faces Ability to monitor several phone and watch functions at the the same time. I can also monitor my blood sugar on my watch without getting my phone out. Able to control audio play while connected to my phone Cons: Only thing I have run into is, at times the battery doesn't last as long I think it should. Easy fix is let the battery run down to about 10% charge the next charge works longer. I have thought about getting an updated watch but why when this one is still doing great. Whenever, I decide to get a new watch I will replace this one with an Samsung.

    A Timely Conversation Piece!

Had been using the watch for about 3 weeks now, and the first impressions are that the watch is amazing. Dont have to worry about charging it everyday(like the other smart watches I have) so that is one of the highlights. Also the audio of music playback is really good. And dont have to worry about taking it off when going for a swim as it is water resistant. Also having the GPS is a good feature as I go hiking a lot and now I have an easier way to find my way back. Also like the Find My Car option that comes with the TIZEN OS, as that is one of the biggest hassles of finding the car once we go to a mall. One negative feedback would be is that this watch may be in a tough competition with the Android Wear 2.0 which is supposed to come out with some new features, and I am actually waiting for that. Good feature is that the Samsung Pay is integrated with the S3, which is good, because now I dont have to carry phone if I go to gym and I need to pay for something. The Bezel is much smooth to use compared to the S2 Classic.

    An amazing smartwatch

I've used the Gear S3 Frontier every single day for just over 2 months now, and throughout my time with it, it's became a suprisingly useful part of my life. I've owned Android Wear smartwatches in the past, the first version of the Apple Watch, and the original Pebble, yet none of these devices remained on my wrist for long, often becoming somewhat of an inconvenience (eg disappointing battery life, missed notifications, lack of suitable connectivity, or simply not fitting my requirements). I feel this device, however, is far more suited to my demanding needs. First thing's first, it's important to state that this device is the larger and more rugged of the two in the Gear S3 series, ideal for those who use their watches everywhere they go, and are looking for a companion device that can be taken anywhere. The smaller of the two, the Gear S3 Classic, is slightly less rugged and comes with a lighter design and leather straps, more ideal for day to day life. Both variations of the product look very respectable; however it could be said that this model in particular could come across as too masculine. One of the key characteristics about this device is its rotating bezel, which can be used to navigate the interface fluidly with only one hand. For me, this feature stands out as one of the most impressive. Scrolling through articles on Flipboard was even smoother than doing so with the Apple Watch's digital crown, and with Tizen's silky-smooth, device wide animations, everything perfectly. In all honesty, I've never seen the device slow down or lag, ever. Focusing around sensors and connectivity, this watch also beats every single alternative I've tried. All editions of the Gear S3 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and a rather cool Altimeter/Barometer. In addition to this, Samsung also offers a cellular model which can make phone calls without the need to be tethered to another device. Quite frankly, Samsung really seems to have considered and included everything under the sun. Mobile payments can be made right from the watch via Samsung Pay, the watch can connect to wireless networks when too far away from the phone to utilize Bluetooth, the downloadable speedometer app can be used, just to name few common use examples. Another optional feature is an emergency mode - if the home button is pressed three times whilst this is enabled, the watch will automatically send a message to the pre-selected contacts, as well as send a link, which automatically shares the location of the device for an hour. This is perfect for so many different situations (eg day-to-day life, hiking, snowboarding, and many more), and I think far more OEMs should offer functionality like this. It's all too common nowadays for battery life to vary significantly from advertised figures - especially with so much connectivity and features, but to my surprise, the device genuinely achieved the 3-4 days of claimed battery life. I traveled to Berlin for weekend break over Christmas, and despite my demanding usage (maps, notifications, fitness tracking, ect) , I didn't have to use the charger once. Speaking of charging, the Gear S3 Frontier also makes this process a breeze. Included in the box is a Micro USB wall charger and a wireless charging dock, with a charging indicator light. The charging times really impressed me too. It hardly took me 3 hours to give the product 4 days worth of juice. Build quality is thankfully excellent, the buttons have a real tactility to them, and the vibrate motor has a real buzz to it. Thanks to this and the included loudspeaker, I found myself missing far fewer text messages, especially whilst running. The microphone also works perfectly for calls - my friend couldn't even tell I wasn't calling from my watch. Also, activity tracking is fully automatic - the S3 Frontier can automatically distinguish between walking, running, cycling and other activities and log them neatly in the S-Health app. Furthermore, sleep tracking is also included, and heart rates can be periodically taken in order to better identify a resting rate. The watch also reminds you if you've been sat down or inactive for too long (though this can be disabled), and I actually found it properly motivational. I even went on a few spontaneous runs, just to reach my step quota and stay moving. It can also be used when swimming thanks to its IP68 water resistance against the elements. My only real con with this device is the lack of Google services. As a frequent user of Google Maps, I was somewhat thrown back by the presence of an alternative in the form of Here maps. Unfortunately I don't feel this app is as good as its counterpart - public transit directions are currently missing, live traffic isn't quite as accurate as I'd have liked, and the GPS did take a while to pinpoint my location. I did, however, come to enjoy using the application throughout my stay in Berlin, where I commuted mainly on foot, and felt with a few updates in the future, it could well become a worthy contender. That's honestly the only flaw I found with the device after two months. Before I received the watch, I assumed through my past experiences that step and heart rate tracking would be inconsistent, or that the processor would lag whilst performing day to day tasks (as happened all to often with my experiences of Android Wear devices), but I was truly impressed. Coming from a tech fan, I'd consider that remarkable. Whilst this is by no means a cheap device, I consider the Gear S3 Frontier to provide outstanding value for money. I don't think I could ever use all the features which it offers, and there's definitely bound to be something here for everyone. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this watch to practically anyone who's technically oriented, or who's looking to upgrade from an existing smartwatch. In short, I'd consider this the best smartwatch I've ever used, without a doubt. That really is quite a statement.

What can I say about this watch? It does everything you need from a watch, Answer calls, text messages check! Check the news, track your sleep, check the weather? it does it all. Don't like your watch face? change it up. with many apps out there you can download lots and lots of different faces....even ones that are "designer" (rolex etc) My favorite thing by far though is being able to pay with Samsung Pay. As a S6 and S7 user it was a great feature. BUT to be able to leave my phone at home and use my watch the pay, its the JACKPOT! and yes you read that right....even on the Bluetooth version...you can check out with Samsung pay up to 5 times without your phone near by. Pair it back up and you get 5 more transactions!

I will keep the review short as there are many reviews that will mention the technical specifics of the watch. This is my 1st smart watch, that said I have read reviews on all the available smart watches and feel that this is one of the better if not the best available. 1st I have to say that despite the many complaints that I have read on S voice, in my experience it works really well including talk to text. I have used it walking down the streets of NYC with no problems as yet. 2nd the battery life is Great. At the moment after a full day of work from 7am to 7pm, the watch is at 68%. 3rd samsung pay just works and its works well. If your on the fence about this watch and you have a samsung phone, dont hesitate just buy it.

    Great Smartwatch

The Gear S3 Frontier (non-LTE) is my first smartwatch purchase. I have held off purchasing one the past few years until I felt that smartwatches were developed enough to provide a seamless experience. I have had this watch for several weeks now, and it is a pleasure to use. My wife has had an apple watch for the past year (she loves it), but the frontier is much more suitable for me. I am a watch guy (I own several different style watches: Bulova, Movado, Oakley, Fossil, etc...) so finding a smartwatch that actually looks like a traditional watch is great. Now onto the details: Pros: - As mentioned, the traditional round watch face looks fantastic and the screen resolution is great. I already have dozens of free watches faces installed to match whatever I am wearing for the day. Always On display is a nice option to have as well. - The rotating bezel is a breeze to use, and I like the tactile feel while rotating. Navigating through the app menus and within the apps is pretty simple. - I personally think the watch is sized perfectly (for my body type). I am 6' 1" and weigh 180 lbs, and the watch is ideal for my wrist. In fact, most of the watches I already own are larger than the gear s3. That being said, if you are 5' 6" and 130 lbs then this watch will most likely be too big for you (do your homework before buying any wearable). - Samsung Pay is fantastic. I love not needing to take out my wallet everywhere I go. I have used the watch to pay at 20-30 different locations and it has worked easily at each location. Seeing the loof on peoples faces when you pay with a watch is fun too. - I have used the fitness features several times so far (haven't tested out all of the fitness tools yet) and they have worked well. Step counting, burned calories, rep/set tracking has all recorded well. I don't know how precise the recordings are but they are at the very least a close approximation (which is good enough for me). - I have had several phone conversations on the watch with no problems. Speaker was clear and the people I was talking to thought I was doing so on my phone. Texting with SVoice also works well. There have been a few times where I had to repeat myself, but that is usually when I'm in a louder environment. - Battery life is better than expected. When I heard 4 day battery life, I assumed that would be with minimal use and everything turned off. Turns out that is a legit statement for regular use. When the always on display is off, I have been getting 4 days no problem with regular use (with gps on, bluetooth on, wifi on). When the watch is in Always On mode, it is between 2 and 3 days based on with watch face you have set. In a world where most of my portable electronics are being charged every night, having to charge this watch once or twice a week is a welcome change. Cons: - So far the only con is app support. There are definitely great apps to use, but the selection is smaller in comparison to other operating systems. I would expect his to improve over time. Personally, I'm not looking for my watch to replace my phone. I wanted a watch that will make interacting with other devices quicker and easier, while looking like a quality timepiece. Not having to keep taking my phone out of my pocket while at work, while driving, or while exercising is great. The gear S3 has done that in spades. It does everything I want a smartwatch to do, and it does those things well. You will not be disappointed in this watch.

I initially ordered the S3 Classic and saw the Frontier in person that same day... I was sold on the rugged look.I own a Moto 360 2nd Gen with the silver finish so the dark finish of the Frontier was very much welcome. Samsung must be commended for all the R&D that went into this. Subtle details like the faces reflecting light all make this a very beautiful piece of essential tech. Call quality is very good and will come in handy for handsfree calls. Battery appears to be on par with my Moto 46mm which also goes 3 days on a charge. Alerts come through okay. There is a handwriting recognition feature which has glitched once on me so far... a restart got it working again. My only gripe is that Android Wear and Samsung Gear do not get along very well on my S5. My wi fi loops incessantly between on and off positions when both are installed, even when the wi fi is supposed to be off. I hope an update will address this soon as I like both watches. Pedometer is accurate as well as the heart monitor which was not that great on the S2. Screen is big and very crisp.Well done, Samsung!

Excellent watch, has been very cool to own this watch for the last 5 years and works great, with very nice activity \ sports and sleep tracking features. Easy sync-up with any phone and awesome features overall. I realize beyond a certain point you dont use most features over time. Has a fairly decent speaker, accurate heart rate reading in most cases, depending on how tight you wear it and has incredible battery life.

I have tried on various smartwatches and have been an early adopter. I have used some of the early Samsung watches, used Apple watch and several watches running Android Wear. I can say unequivocally that Gear S3 is the best watch out there by a long way. Each watch has some features that it may be good at, but the Gear 3 packs the best overall package, whether it is the screen or battery life or fitness tracking or NFC/Pay or overall looks, Samsung Gear 3 beats them all. The Samsung Gear S3 watch runs the Tizen OS, this means that it does not run all the apps that Android Wear watches has, but it has all the apps or equivalent apps that I had a need for. Whether it is email or messaging or phone or fitness or maps, the watch met my needs. And top of it, the integration with other samsung services is awesome. Samsung Pay and Health integration features are my favorite. I have the Frontier watch and I am a petite woman. So it may be a tad on the bigger side for my wrist, but the gorgeous screen and the real estate made it worth it. There is so much room to display everything so clearly, that you are not too limited in using your smartwatch, whether it is in reading an email or reply to a text. The only issue I can think of, is the accuracy of the S Voice. I have an accent and it was not able to easily able to understand me and took many attempts to get it right. But I think the accuracy has improved over time. It is not perfect yet, but it is not as bad as the first time I used it. Overall, I have to say I am amazed at the engineering marvel that the Gear S3 watch is. So many features, so many sensors and such an awesome battery life. I would recommend this watch without any reservation to all my friends! Note: I received a loaner watch to try out and post my unbiased review.

From the long battery life to the screen size and the AMOLED screen. I have 0 complaints over this product. Changing the bands is simple and even changing watch faces is a breeze and can be done in 10 seconds. Craftsman work of the bezel is great. Its not to bulky or too light and looks great on my wrist. There is also new apps coming out all the time. I feel like James Bond every time i tell S voice to call a friend. Microphone quality is perfect and people can't tell if I'm using my watch or my phone. Anyone with a Galaxy or note phone MUST get this!

Nice upgrade from the Gear S2

Being an owners of a Gear S2 for almost a year now I quit please with the cosmetic touch and finish of the Gear S3. Cosmetics The and traditional watch like finish and slightly larger screen is a personal big plus for me. I personally felt the Gear S2 was a bit small for my wrist and I prefer to have a larger watch face vs smaller one for casual use. The Gear S3 is large watch and cosmetic looks similar to the Nixon and Movado types of watches. I can see myself wearing the S3 during my business meets and if the battery life meets my need it would possibly replace my traditional dress watches. Technology Heart rate sensor: Having the experience of using several of the previous of versions of the Samsung Galaxy Gear versions each has always displayed improvement. In my experience with the new Gear S3 the heat rate sensor reads faster it maybe due to the greater surface area of the watch. On last watch it would take at time 2 to 3 time to perform a successful scan Sleep tracker: The sleep tacker feature on the S3 has impressed me more than my last Gear watch and Fitbit. The data is broken in to three categories, motionless, light and restless. The sleep track data is presented in a graph like image base on the time/hours of sleep. This has to be one of my favorite features. Screen sensitivity: If you’re a person that uses gloves this is probably the only one or the few watches that could work with gloves on. This feature is not enabled out of the box and you will need to increase the screen sensitivity for it to work. Battery Life: With the screen brightness at MAX I have been getting about almost 3.5 days of battery life from full charge. I have read Samsung claims 4 days and That is probably achievable if I turn down the brightness and is I wasn’t constantly toying with the watch. Operating system and Apps The newer galaxy gear watches run on Tizen and not Android OS. So please be aware that apps are limited for Tizen but if your using a Samsung phone with your watch it integrates beautify especially the messaging & fitness apps. Over all I would highly recommend this watch especially if you’re a Samsung phone owner.

Have had for a few weeks now. The ultimate smart watch. Samsung Pay works everywhere using NFC or MST. Terrific auto tracking of walking and biking, my two favorite exercises. Battery lasts over 2 days wearing it constantly, and charges fast. The display is large and easy to read. Performance is liquid fast from app to app. Very tough, can be washed under water. Really glad I got this watch. Can't wait to pair up with a Note 9 which I am saving up for.

Great device, useful and fun, slight reservations

When I received the device, I noticed that the box was quite elegant. It follows most of the design conventions that Samsung has been using for the S7 (and has been refining since the S4 or S5). It was easy to open, but the device was safely secured within. I was pleased to see that it came with a neat magnetic charging dock/cradle, along both a wall charging adapter and a cable (as it should). For the curious, the charger is just a 700mA charger, so if you want to charge it on the go, you won't need either a Fast Charge or 2.1A charger to get the job done...any old USB plug will do. Moving on to the device, it is definitely styled like a man's watch, with a large black-bezel, large black band (actually, two black bands; one small (in the box), and one large, already attached. For reference, I've had FitBits, and have needed, if only slightly, the large watch band, and this seems to follow the same rough sizing, though the notches are at slightly different intervals, so it's either a might snug, or rotate-around-my wrist loose. The face of the device is black and gunmetal grey, with - as you might expect - the bezel is a stylized gear. It sports hatch marks, like on most sports watches. 5-minute increments are marked out around the inside of the round frame. There are two buttons on the right side, and the bezel rotates both ways (the 5-minute increments, of course, are fixed). I long-pressed the bottom right button to turn it on, opened up the Samsung Gear app on my S7 (you'll need to download it if you don't have it already), and got to setting it up. This process is pretty straight-forward, though you may have to bounce around the app to get all the settings straightened out. The default watch face is analog, but there is a watch face storefront, and there are a ton of both free and paid options. I have - in addition to the stock ones - an analog Monty Python Ministry of Silly Walks face, a purple Matrix-styled animated digital face, and - for $1 - an animated LCARS (Star Trek) digital face (both of these latter two show both the time, the date, my heart rate, my step count, and my calories burned). I get bored easily, so I'm sure I'll be trying others out, but the flexibility is quite nice to have, after the limited 4 or 5 utilitarian options of the Fitbit Blaze. In many ways, the interface looks much like an Apple Watch with its little bubble icons, though the ones on the Gear S3 are around the edge, and can be highlighted by twisting the bezel (which to me is more functional). It has a ton of built-in apps: weather, calendar, tasks, email, messaging, phone, contacts, photos, music, Find My Phone, S Voice, altimeter/barometer, Flipboard, alarm, world time, settings, S Health, Samsung Pay, and reminders. It also has widgets, both already in place, and ones you can download and add. Now, there are some oddities here: the photos app requires that the photos actually be side-loaded onto the watch from your phone, rather than viewing your phone's gallery. I'm sure this is because this thing has LTE, and can be used in a completely stand-alone mode (with a contract), but it's still odd, and something I'd like to see the option to switch between in future. I know it's possible, because the music app has a similar ability (you can load music directly on the device and play it on the watch itself), BUT can also simply be used as a remote for playback on the phone. Additionally, because this thing is running Tizen, it really only wants to play nicely with Samsung apps. I don't use Samsung's messaging app, nor its email app, and - while S Health is pretty nice - I'm a 3-plus year FitBit user, so my data is all in that portal. Additionally, I'm more used to Google Assistant, rather than S Voice. That said...there are workarounds. I can simply get over the S Voice thing. It works well, or at least well enough, and it's not a big part of my use case. With FitBit, there's a free app called Fit and Healthy which syncs steps and other data back and forth from FitBit to S Health, and vice-versa, and that’s working very nicely (plus, I can also import data into S Health, so I may choose to switch over at some point). For email and texting, however, it’s a bit trickier. I’m thinking of switching over from the Gmail app (which works a treat) to the stock Samsung email app to get (or at least test) whatever additional functionality that would provide. Right now, I can read and reply to new emails, but not send cold emails, or read old ones. That takes care of most of the issues, but for my texting, I use Signal, because (especially now) I have privacy concerns, and my texting with it is encrypted. This presented an issue, but there seems to be a workaround. First, as with Gmail, you will not be able to read your old texts on your watch. However, you will be able to receive and reply to current ones. Oh, and btw, the quick replies function is very helpful. Stuff like ‘OK’, or ‘No’, or ‘On my way’ are on the list, and you can also enter text using T9, or voice recognition, or something like the old Palm Pilot handwriting recognition, one letter at a time…and an emoji keyboard (critical these days). Oh, and Facecbook Messenger notifications also come through (and can be replied to), AND I’m one of those people still using Hangouts, which I get notifications for and can reply to, but for which there isn’t an on-watch app. No biggie; as long as I get new stuff, that’s fine. I don’t want to use the watch for everything…just to make life easier for the quick notifications and stuff. NOTE: When you clear a notification from the watch, you can choose whether it clears on the device or not, and vice-versa. Also, you can set whether notifications appear on the watch, even if you’re actively using your phone, and some other stuff, which is great. Finding all of the features for replying and figuring out gestures for dismissing and moving around took about a day (not constant, of course…just occasional playing around), but now I can navigate things pretty quickly. To scroll a notification, run your finger upward from the bottom. To dismiss a notification, repeat until you drag the message into the trash can that appears. To perform quick actions, just look for them at the bottom of a notification. To do more, like reply or see something on your phone, tap the three dots at the right edge. To switch between apps, widgets, notifications, keyboards, adjust volume (both on the device and on the phone, as applicable), and to change time for alarms, etc., rotate the bezel. With a little practice, it becomes pretty intuitive, and I’m really enjoying it. Okay, so that’s notifications and text-based stuff, but what about the phone?! Well…basically, at least with the Frontier, it connects over Bluetooth, and it works pretty well. You can dial or pick from a contact, or – if you must – speak the name of the person you want to call. When on the call, you can switch the call back and forth to and from the watch and phone. Today, I had a 25-minute phone conversation solely on the watch and it was clear both ways. Yesterday, I had a much flakier experience, but I think that was because I was in an area with poor reception, rather than a connection issue with the watch. Speaking of talk time, I fully charged the device the first night I had it, but haven’t since, and – with lots of testing and that long phone call – it’s down to about 40%. The dock, btw, is classy and super-easy-to-use. It takes a microUSB cable, but can be detached and stuck in a pocket or backpack for travel, and hooked up anywhere, which is handy. Anyhow…even with 2 solid days of use, I figure I can get another day out of it, maybe two.I also like that it has Samsung Pay, the heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate, and as mentioned above, the watch bands are changeable. Bottom line: I’m really enjoying the Gear S3 Frontier, despite a few quirks and some ecosystem limitations. With some tweaks, I’ve made it fit my lifestyle, and unlike my other/previous smart accessories, it has a great deal of practical uses (and some great show-off because-I-can features, as well). If you have the money, it’s a worthy gadget. Just remember that it’s not running Android Wear.

A step in the right direction!

I have now been using the Gear s3 Frontier for about a month now. The smart watch I was using before this was a Samsung Gear s2 Classic (WiFi). Comparing the two, Samsung did a lot of things right but as always, there is always room for improvement. First, lets start with the battery. Using the gear s2 Classic, I found myself needing to put the watch on charge almost every night since it would have around 20% battery remaining. With the gear s3 frontier, there is a huge improvement with battery life! I use my watch for outdoor activities, reading messages, emails, making phone calls, and music (via bluetooth headphones) and I'm able to get between 2.5 to 3 days on a single charge! I don't play any games on it! I love the feel of the buttons and the rotating bezel on the s3 frontier. Also, this time around they didn't leave the bezel as a simple ring that you can just twist, it actually has markings on it (seconds). I feel like this gives the watch a more complete look. I was skeptic of the Frontier version first and had secretly hoped I received the classic version, but all that changed as soon as I unboxed the watch! IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Some of my favorite things about this watch are the size, the fact that it has a speaker in it (which I use if I'm driving), and the battery life! THE NOT SO GOOD: Although it has a speaker built in, I wish it was louder. I find myself struggling to hear the other person when I'm on a call while driving. I keep the speaker on the loudest setting but still have to really listen. So if, you have a lot of ambient noise around you, don't expect to have a smooth conversation using this watch. Over the course of 1 month, I used this watch paired to a Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge, an iPhone 6s Plus, and a nexus 6P. As expected, I didn't expierence any problems with connectivity using the galaxy s7 edge and everything was buttery smooth. The iPhone was an entirely different story. It was a semi-complicated process to pair the watch up with the phone and then the bluetooth connectivity was very choppy rendering the watch almost useless. When connected, the functionality was very limited as I was not able to reply to text messages using the watch, no samsung pay, so svoice, shealth didn't always properly sync, I was unable to send pictures to the watch, and the gear app refused to update the apps on my watch. Don't get me wrong, iOS compatability is a major step in the right direction, but is still premature. A lot of bugs need to be worked out. When I used the watch with the nexus 6P, connectivity was fine but I needed to install 2 different apps and a plug in before the watch would fully function. Not a deal breaker though. In this version of Tizen OS, samsung added the option to pair the watch to a new device which is nice, but what I don't like is that every time you select that option, the watch does a "soft reset". I would be nice if the watch can be paired to multiple devices and you had the option to simply select which one you'll be using it with. The watch takes some getting used to so if you don't like it at first, rest assured, it will get better! When I first wore the watch, it left a rash and irritated my skin (I have no allergies). I decided to give it another chance and mysteriously, the more I wore it, the more comfortable it got! Even my skin somehow adjusted to the watch lol. All in all, I would recommend this watch to anyone who will be using it with an android phone. So far, it has served me well in a casual setting as well as a outdoor/sporty setting. I use this watch while at the gym, biking, running, playing basketball, and kayaking and it performed better then expected! Slap a tempered glass screen protector on it, and you're good to go! A fair warning: the bezel on this watch has a matte finish which scuffs easily if you're not careful. So if you're clumsy and bang your arm on table sides and door ways all the time, I would think twice before buying the watch. If you have any questions about the watch, I encourage you to ask and will be happy to help!

I have the Gear S2 LTE and it has been reliable and super comfortable to wear, however the screen is super small! I have been waiting for Gear S3 Frontier LTE but not available on my wirelss service- Verizon. I found the BT only Gear S3 open box from Best Buy. The watch is bigger than S2 but not incomfortable for me. It does get hung up on dress shirt cuff at times but not significantly. The S3 is SUPER FAST! Snappy response and rotating bezel is a great feature. The batery life is insane. I keep screen off and BT on auto. After 8 hour day I have 75% battery left. This might change drasticaly with the LTE version but reviews are still pretty good on battery use. Samsung has rolled out 3 new watchfaces. I like the outoor one. Trying to find really sharp watch faces is tough. Some look non realistic while some of the luminous watch faces look realy good. I even managed to install Artik and when in BT range I can lock- unlock doors and turn lights on and off. I paid $ 250.00 (open Box). I would not pay anything more for Non LTE, but this is an excellent smart watch when combined with Note 5.
