This smart watch is the best smart watch on the market. I loved everything about it from the rotating bezel, the ABC features, and the size and look of it was great. However, if you would just like to have something to track your outdoor run, with GPS, this might be overkill, plus a bit heavy on the wrist. But for a daily driver smart watch. This cannot be beat at the moment.

Do NOT update to the 3.0.0.1 firmware. It will constantly freeze your phone (I have the note 8) and bring up a "gear s plugin has stopped" error. I had to swap out the watch to get it back to the old firmware. Samsung pay is the only thing I have noticed that wasn't working with the older firmware. Hopefully Samsung will give a patch soon. Otherwise I really like the watch

The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is a great choice for a modern android smartwatch. So far I've owned 3 smartwatches, the 1st gen Moto 360, the ASUS Zen 2, and now the Gear 3. Of these 3 watches the Gear 3 is the most versatile and feature rich. The Gear 3 is beautiful to look at, easy to set up, comfortable to wear, and has a long battery life. I am very happy with the Gear 3 and highly recommend it. The ASUS Zen 2 is also a very nice smartwatch to consider. It's available at a lower price point but lacks some of the features of the Gear 3. Go to Best Buy and have a look. Enjoy shopping.

I love this smartwatch. I have a very tiny wrist and was affraid that it may be to large and over powering, due to reviews that I have read. It fits fine and is easy to operate. My only complaint is that it is not waterproof and only water resistant.

Samsung has proven yet again that they're the best when it comes to technology. I had the Gear S2, and the only problem I had with it was the bad band design. The Gear S3 has a standard watch band, and the one that it comes with is probably the best you can get for the watch. After a full charge, on nominal use, I get a little over 3 full days, which is pretty awesome. There are a ton of watch faces available on the Gear App market. Very crisp high resolution display. Overall, one of my best purchases in the last few years. Looks great, feels great, works great, and lasts longer.

Great watch, Samsung pay integration is a bit odd(separate app from the normal Samsung pay) but it works very well. Only small gripes are that occasionally S-voice seems to activate itself(or I'm triggering it but don't know how), and it really needs to be restarted once a week because it seems to sometimes ignore the wake up gesture after a long period without a restart.

especially if you are coming from Android Wear but once you do, you love it. The functionality, screen and ability to swap bands make this perfect for me. Easy to read screen out in the sunlight. Do use this with my S7 Edge and have not/will not use alone. Have been wearing daily for regular use and also on daily walks/hikes. Watched a couple of you tube vides to help with the software and make it easy to make changes. Have not had any type of glitches. Feels great and comfortable on the arm. Using the bezel to switch screens keeps you sweaty dirty fingers off the screen.

The product is very well built and is sturdy. Gave 4 Stars because of the fact that this watch uses Tizen and not Android Wear. Thus, the app store is very limited and most of the apps are not available yet. But, if we strictly consider the product itself, overall it is an amazing product. Major surprise is the speaker which is unbelievably loud for such a small package.

I've been looking at smart watches for years, but I could never get past the cheap plastic look that they all had. Finally, somebody gets it. The Gear Frontier looks more like a nice piece of jewelry than a smart watch. The Frontier does so much it's hard to know where to begin a review of it. Let's start with the looks and feel. This does not look or feel like a toy. The watch has some weight to it, and is comparable in size to one of my good analog watches I usually wear. It has a nice dark gray finish with an intuitive rotating bezel. It also has two side buttons that are just barely raised above the case and take you either Home or Back. It interfaces flawlessly with my S5 phone. The notifications alert me of an incoming call and show the caller photo if it's in my Contacts list. Email notifications claim to only work with the stock Samsung email app, but I use Blue Mail and it works just fine. Texts however do require the standard messaging app and doesn't work with the messaging app I like to use. S Health functions work really well and the watch is able to detect quite a few workouts automatically without any intervention from me. It counts floors as well, and is pretty accurate. I also found the heart rate monitor to be fairly accurate and the watch will take my heart rate about once an hour without me asking it to do so. Some people have complained about a lack of apps available for the watch, but I think the selection is good, and continually growing. The screen looks incredible, and is very responsive. I've never had it lag at all, and whether you use the touch screen or the bezel, the response is really quick. Swiping works really well and I've never had to swipe twice to get the screen to change. The watch faces that come with it are nice, and there's a good selection of them. But if you find you want more variety, there are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) available in the Samsung app store, and the majority of them are free. There is actually a whole developer community that produces some really high quality faces and if you want to get involved and try your hand at creating new faces, Samsung offers Gear Watch Designer as a free download. With this program you can easily develop your own watch face designs and load them onto your watch or offer them up to the community for others to enjoy as well. Battery life is quite respectable and even though I charge mine every night, at the end of the day I still have about 60 to 70% battery life left over. This watch has everything I could want in a smart watch and the look and feel are top notch. Nicely done Samsung!

I love this Gear. It’s very helpful in your everyday life. Unlike other smart watches, this one has more functions and battery life is very good too.

I absolutely love this watch..Main reason for purchase was it's ability to store and play music through wireless ear buds independently from a smart phone..Great for going on runs and listening to the.music I enjoy while also tracking my distance.

Having never owned a smart watch before I wasn't sure how much I would like/use the Gear S3. However, I bought it anyway and I am more than happy I did. I love being able to text and make calls with it. The user interface is also very easy to use.

What can I say, you get what you pay for, and I paid well. I absolutely love it over my Android Wear watch any day. It feels nice and looks really cool. Samsung really takes pride in their products and this is no exception. I highly recommend it.

I have an Apple watch and now the Samsung one. The battery of the Samsung watch lasts very long but the apps are not as variable as the ones in Apple watch.

I bought this watch as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. I have had the chance to play with it and I want one. It's a nice fashionable watch with a nice face plate. It was a great buy. I would definitely recommend for android phone users.

I didn't realize how much a difference the watch would make. The versatility the watch adds to using your phone is very valuable. Ignoring texts, emails, phone calls that you dont want with a quick gesture on the watch is extremely convenient. Also, you never miss phone calls, texts, emails because you are in a noisy place or you set your phone on silent because the watch vibration always, but discreetly, gets your attention. Changing watch faces with your mood or what you are doing is also cool. Finally the intuitive choices for replys to texts is amazingly accurate.

I'm not a fan of watches but I bought this for the ability to track my exercises, so far it has worked great, its stylish and easy to use.

All it needs is to be able to get more apps other then that it's great.

This isnt about whether Apple watch is better or not. This is preference. You can use this watch on android and iOS. I love the rotating bezel. Wish It came in a smaller size for people with smaller hands but for me, average wrist it is amazing.
