Easy to use and is a great upgrade over the the old gear watch

I bought the smartwatch as a companion to my new phone and I love it! It's rugged style is attractive and designed to be durable. Waterproof and dustproof, I can take it to work and not worry about it. The apps are useful and not having to pull out my phone every time I get a notification, just to see what it was and whether I needed to do something about it, is a time saver. The call quality is decent: the speaker could be better, but the watch isn't meant to replace a phone. Overall, a great buy and a great gift to give.

This watch does everything I wanted and more. Notifications, weather, health monitoring, quick text response and all the different watch faces. Gave it 4 star because wish I could get more than 2 days from battery.

Best smart watch out in the market and beats out all the competitors hands on. Features are excellent, usable screen display and lots of space to work with many apps available in the app store. Overall great product by samsung.

Fairly limited app compatibility for the time being. Good solid product that looks good and functions well for what it can do. I wish there were some UI look options (there was a recent update that changed the look and feel of most of the built in apps, while cleaner looking, I preferred certain versions of the old apps - but cannot revert).

Love this watch, it looks awesome and very easy to use, has many features and apps plus the add-on rotary face bezel to control your watch.

It was a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. It's stylish and easy for him to operate. I gave it 4 stars because he just got it for Christmas and hasn't fully used all of its features, but so for so good.

So far, better than expected. Bug free, Great battery life, easy to learn and operate. Love to control my music from my watch to my Bluetooth speaker while playing disc golf. Great for ignoring notifications and receiving calls.

I have been eyeing the smart watches since the first gen Samsung. I just could not bring myself to buy one. This watch does not disappoin. I love the inter face with my Samsung S8 and Samsung Health is helping me stay on top of my fitness once again. The graphics are excellent. The battery life is almost 3 days. I charge it every other day. As I write this post I am on my second day and the watch is at 72%. I also love the lost watch or phone, tracking. I need it at least twice a year! Can't say enough about this watch. Love it!

Love the product. I was looking for a good combination of fitness product and quality watch, so I wouldn't have to either switch for work or wear two. The S3 gives me all the fitness features I like - tracking activity, steps, monitoring my food metrics - while also being an attractive time piece. Very sturdy. Did have one problem-battery life began to die shortly after an OS upgrade. Went to Best Buy, talked to the Samsung Rep and a BB rep and got an instant exchange (hint: BUY the warranty!). If you like the look, go for it!

I have found this watch tho be one of my best purchases. It's connectivity to my Samsung phone allowed me Check my text messages, Twitter, weather, and even make a call without touching my phone. I highly recommend this watch.

I had the very first version of the gear. I used it until it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Finally decided to go with the S3. Best decision ever. You can text thru it, answer phone calls. See maps. I really love this watch.

Great watch. I like some of the smart features, but I don't fully utilize them. Took quite a bit of tweaking to get the settings how I liked, but it was a new gadget so I was fine with taking that time. There are a bunch of paid watch faces and some free ones you can use with this, but many of them drain your battery like crazy. I don't recommend the Always On feature as that will kill your battery in less than a day. After nearly 2yrs, I lose 20-25% of the battery per day with moderate usage for checking the time and maybe a couple dozen notification popups from texts. I didn't get the version with the independent data plan so it needs to be within Bluetooth range of my phone to fully function. I rarely use the phone feature on the watch, but it does come in handy when my hands are greasy/sticky and I get a call and don't want to stick my hands in my pockets or touch my phone. I can use my nose to answer inbound calls without needing to touch it with my hands. I recommend opening it ASAP and checking to make sure that the bezel (spinny part around the watch face) isn't overly loose. Just tap on the bezel in a few different places to see if it clicks or rattles. My first watch had an extremely loose bezel that made a lot of noise just by moving my wrist around. BestBuy was super cool about it and allowed me to exchange it for a new one since I only had it for a couple days and there was clearly no damage done by me as it still looked brand new. I typically wear my watches on the inside of my wrist, like the military typically does. I don't feel comfortable doing that with this watch as I'm kind of rough and I'm concerned that I'll break it.

Purchased on of these watches for myself and then again for my wife. Outstanding for use with Android. Love the way I can change faces as often as I like. And with Samsung Health, a great way to monitor your activity levels.

This Smartwatch does it all with good looks and durability. It's definitely a bit on the heavy side but feels like its worth 1000 bucks. AppStore needs to grow more but is still ahead of other smartwatch makers in the game.

I absolutely love this watch. It does everything I need. I work in a machine shop, which is a very dirty place (dust everywhere) and not too many electronics hold up here, the watch still looks brand new after months of use! Very convenient to be able to read my texts and what not while at work and can't have my phone on me at all times.

This was a graduation gift for my son. He loves it, is able to track his fitness and GPS. Very durable and battery lasts long.

The Samsung Gear S3 frontier is a great smartwatch. I love the rugged design any operating system is smooth and easy to understand. I like being able to change the face of the watch and I like the Samsung fitness app knows what type of exericse I'm doing when I use it at the gym so if I'm on the elliptical, within a couple of seconds it knows what I'm doing based on my hand movement and it starts calculating my heartbeat, calories and my time. I do wish there were more apps but I'm sure that's going to happen with time.
