I was looking for a smart watch when the Samsung Gear S3 launched. It was a pretty steep price (on sale for $300, regular price $350). However this watch had everything that I was looking for: GPS standard, internal storage for music, bluetooth capable (to your phone or to headphones), read/write texts, view emails / Gchat messages, view notifications, etc. Plus the added bonus of being able to answer your phone on the watch is very handy when driving. The call audio and mic to speak into are in the watch, so you do not have to take your hands off the wheel. Have not been using the GPS as much in the winter, so my battery life right now is right around 4-6 days. Not sure how much the battery range will go down using the GPS for running more frequently. Other pros: -Button shortcuts are great. I setup my double tap of the home button to a flashlight app, and the triple tap of the home button to send an SOS to your emergency contacts. -Tracks sleep and heart rate automatically and summary reports in the morning. -Watch nudges you after an hour of inactivity, which comes in handy consistently during desk work. -The intensity of the vibrating alarm only wakes me up, very convenient. -Watch looks great for any occasion. The only minor cons I have are: -Not as many useful apps as I thought there would be -Not the watch's fault, but my phone battery drains much faster now that the bluetooth is on constantly. -The default watch band is durable. However more cut-outs in the band would have made this rubber-type material breathe much better.

I'm a smart watch lover and had own every model Samsung had made. My Gear S2 was awesome, but after a day of use, the battery went really low. Sometimes it doesn't even make it to the end of the day. I was expecting something similar from the New Gear S3 frontier, but after using the watch for almost a month, I'm very satisfied about the battery life. It gave me up to 4 days without recharging it. Very recommended

I've had other smart watches but nothing compares to this one. The easy set up and user features are amazing and it's very comfortable and has a stylish look to it.

upgraded to s3 frontier. so far, so good. still learning the tricks of the watch. speaker is clear, but arm may get a little tired from holding up to talk and listen.

This watch is great for Scheduling events, Medication alerts, Alarms, Weather, Making and receiving phone calls, and much more in conjunction with your smart phone!

I loved my gear S3, that is until it met his untimely demise after having a magnet stick to it unknowingly. The watch itself and all the features along with the bezel and having Samsung Pay were nice along with being able to add nonproprietary bands. I did find one weakness though. Please hear my warning and keep all magnets (especially, in my case Earth magnets) far away from your watch as possible. Otherwise great piece of tech that I will more than likely be replacing. It also wouldnt hurt to get the warranty.

This watch does exactly what I need it to do without being hassled by my carrier's data requirement of paying for an additional line. It does work off of wifi & bluetooth which is great. I bought it to get important texts while at work since I cannot have my phone out while at work due to security concerns. This is a great alternative and it looks very stylish in a business casual setting.

I love this watch!!! Other than the small wrist bands, t his watch does everything I could ask for except cook me dinner. Samsung...you nailed it with this one.

THIS WATCH IS PROBABLY MY BEST PURCHASE I'VE MADE THIS YEAR! I AM WALKING A LOT MORE BECAUSE OF THE STEP COUNTER AND I KEEP ACTIVE BECAUSE THE WATCH ALERTS ME IF I AM IDLE FOR TOO LONG. I AM REALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS WATCH AND I WOULD ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO GET ONE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INTO GETTING FIT AND YOU WANT TO TRACK YOUR PROGRESS AND DAILY ACTIVITIES.

Great smartwatch that gave me awesome flexibility. Its great at telling me who's calling my phone and even taking via the watch by speaking through it! (Kinda James Bond-ish). I'm in sales so it's very important not to miss a call. If you have the same lifestyle and getting fit in between, this watch will be your ally!

I did a bunch of research and tried several watches, but ultimately this is the best bet for Android users. I bought it open box so got a decent deal. The watch has all the features you need and I especially recommend if you have a Samsung phone for the integration. Battery life is great and exceeded my expectations. I took one star off for the gesture sensitivity. Sometime you have to flip your hand twice for the screen to go on (if you're not using AOD obviously). I've seen several forums with similar comments so hoping that a software update is in the works.

The watch is a bit bulky, but the fact that I don't have to also carry my phone everywhere, offsets it. All the communication I do on my phone, I can do on my watch. It doesn't replace the your phone, but almost. One great feature, if you roam out of Bluetooth range it will connect to your wifi...nice. I just wish that Samsung offered more accessories instead of relying on 3rd party look-a-likes/knock-offs.

Great accessory for any galaxy device. I had a Note 5 when I first purchased it and it was perfect. Whenever I wore my watch I almost had no reason to use my phone.

It's excellent watch and I get all the notifications on my watch. Also I have Samsung pay on it. The only drawback is it's little bulky but I still love it.

First smartwatch I purchased. Bought this and the classic version. I like the notification and being able to talk through watch via Bluetooth. Didn't need standalone as I always have my phone. I would like turn by turn directions with map similar to what I hear another smartwatch has but I can live without it. Battery lasts a few days with average use and turning it off when I go to bed at night. Step counter is off. Doesn't match near what my fitbit one shows or my phone. Hands in pocket when cold out might not county the steps. Mainly use it for time and notifications though and for that I'm happy.

I love the watch makes my Fitbit look like a little girls toy watch! Kind of a learning curve but WOW there is a lot of cool things to do with this rugged watch. I noticed a quick battery drain today at the beach and not sure why otherwise 2 days max.

Fits well, easy to syn with your phone. The S health is a great partner to have on it. Sleek design is practical and a nice solid speaker for music built right in.
