having two apple watches from the time they were first released I've been very satisfied with everything they do.The only thing I dislike about apple watch is the the dial call me old school but I want watch that has a round dial.when the samsung gear 2 came out I liked that round dial ,thought was good looking watch but not ios compatible.When the Samsung Gear3 came out an stated ios compatible i started lookin at gear3 frontier mode.l had to have one but i wondered what apple watch apps might not work with the samsung Gear3. But i bought it anyway at best buy. I downloaded the samsung watch app an had my apple X phone paired less in 5 minutes still in the parking lot at best buy.Samsung owners manual stated you would not be able to receive text messages on the gear3 watch.But on the third day my gear3 watch started receiving text messages an all my other apple watch apps work fine on my gear3.Some of the things this gear3 does is more user friendly then apple watch ,I'am totally satisfied.

Coming from an Apple watch first gen I was greeted with a circle design and sophisticated touches.This is my second watch samsung smart watch. I also have a note 8 which is a solid item to match with. The battery life is not of a pebble but the design isn't either. I would recommend to other people who want a decent watch for a samsung phone. If you have other android phones you can of course opt out for the many android wear watches.

I bought this watch as an upgrade to my old Pebble watch. I liked the fact this one had GPS built in. It tracks your pulse, location, gives you steps, mileage, it even tracks your sleep fairly accurately. None of these devices are spot on, but I think the margin of error is acceptable. If you are into fitness and tracking numbers, this thing is endlessly customizable. So there is a learning curve, but it is worth it.

Great watch. Love it. I cam pick up calls and answer msgs at work while being discreet. Had no problems setting up the watch to my phone. Battery on the watch lasts about two days without charging. Awesome watch made by Samsung.

I've had many watches over the years. This watch has many functions and I could't be more pleased with it.

This watch is incredible for all of it's smart watch features. Here are my favorite features and dislikes: PROS: Ability to store and play music straight from the watch, without the need of the phone. Ability to connect headphones to watch for music. I don't have to take my phone with me on my runs anymore. Color display is incredible. Bezel for controls is silky smooth and very easy to use. Touch screen sensitivity is also smooth as silk. Direct call and text from watch is very useful and easy to use. Very comfortable to wear. CONS: As a fitness watch it is lacking a lot of key features. Not waterproof enough to go swimming. Only water resistant. Samsung Health program is confusing and very difficult to use compared to Garmin Connect and My Fitness Pal. Watch will not since with other fitness apps...... Only Samsung Health which is very poor. Can't add or delete activities from watch selection. So weight training, Cross-fit, HIIT, Kayaking/Canoeing, and many other activities cannot be tracked except under "other". Battery life is terrible. I use it all day for normal use, and for two workouts daily. Each workout runs about 90 minutes. With just this little bit of activity it drains the battery down to 40%. So it would be useless on a weekend hike or backpacking trip. Unless you charge nightly. Garmin fenix series lasts up to four days with this much use. Overall it is,a great watch and I love it. I still use it daily. However, I use my garmin fenix to track all of my fitness activities. As a smart watch I strongly recommend. But as a serious fitness watch, I cannot recommend this watch.

After having several fitbits break I decided to step up to the S3 after seeing it in the store. Initially I thought the face would be too big for my wrist, but I'm glad I took the plunge. I use it mainly as a fitness watch but I love being able to receive phone calls and text. I don't regret the purchase.

This watch is great for someone who is tech savy, likes to monitor their health, or who enjoys exercising.

I switched over to this watch from a Samsung Gear Fit 2. I have had this for over a month now and have not had any issues with it. Can't really find any negatives except for the price.

Coming from the Apple world I wasnt sure I would like this better than my Apple Watch. This far exceeds my expectations. I can use this to pay at far more places, it's more customizable, and the battery lasts much longer. I've been enjoying this since the day I bought it.

This watch does it all, and being able to use the watch to answer my phone is great! Excellent smartwatch!

I love this watch. I love that I can set my weekly alarms on it and it won't wake the whole house when I have to get up early. I have small wrists and was worried about the size. But it really isn't bad. I can rinse it off and never worry about it not working. Very durable.

My friend loves it and he use it everyday and he didn’t have any problems with regards to the smart watch.

My husband has enjoyed the watch, calls, text, emails, alerts, all of it. Especially the water proof part!

I love the function and look of this watch. It was very easy to pair with my phone. The only issue I had with it was within 4 months, I had to send to Damsung for repair. Watch would not charge. Ended up being water damage in a watch that is supposedly water resistant and had never seen more water than washing hands and occasional rain. Had to fight with Samsung to get repaired.

Purchased for a friend and he absolutely loves its. Not usually a watch guy but now he wears it everyday.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He did a lot of research before asking for this.
