I originally tried this watch a year or more ago and although it worked well, it needed a Samsung phone to utilize all its features. I now have a Samsung phone and the watch works wonderfully. having the ability to load some music on it and go without a phone or mp3 player is great and works well. If carrying the phone also, you can stream from Spotify. The activity tracking/reporting is good but the heart rate is not on par with some of the dedicated GPS/running watches as far as accuracy. It will actually stop updating the heart rate for a bit then resume and continue like nothing happened....weird but I think most of the optical type sensors are flakey unless you go for a more tightly focused device. As far as these "multi-purpose" watches go, this is great

Opened my Samsung Gear Sport and already I loved it. Great size and color. Then it turned on and WOW is this thing fun. I set up email and text alerts, changed the watch face and had no problem. Synced to my Note 8 quickly too.

Easy to use, holds a great battery charge, and very versatile- it'll go with whatever you put on. Buttons are sensitive and watch will sometimes stay on because of this and won't show actual time. Google assistant very sensitive.

Got this for the wife and she could not be happier! Has all the features she was looking for in a smart watch. only thing it cant do is answer calls and take pictures like more expensive models. for her first smart watch is fine.

Had the Samsung Gear Fit 2 and it was great this one out does it.

Awesome watch, really like it, replaced Fitbit and am satisified.

I love how this watch does everything. With the new updates you now have full notifications. It's so convenient that you can keep track of everything in life from steps, HR, notes and calendar to controlling your music.

I really like the watch. The battery takes about 2 hours to charge but it does last a whole day and a half with heavy notification use. Works very well with Samsung phones not sure about other android phones.

I did research on the best Android watch and the Gear Sport is the watch that won even over the Movado smart watch I wanted. This was half the price and had better ratings and all the bells and whistles. I am not disappointed!

Its ok. I have a small wrist and I find it big and bulky and heavy. I do like that I can get in the water but dislike I have to remember to push the water resistance feature. Still trying to figure all the other features out.

I like the battery life and the heart rate monitor better than the Apple Watch. The texting and phone talk isn’t as good as the Apple but the aps and watch faces are better. I like the trends the Samsung health shows.

the features on this phone are great but the battery life is just too low. especially when you are using the features. if you bought the watch, you will want to use all the features but the battery will need to be charged often.

I have had several samsung watch's and i have loved them all!!

Just a watch so for good for fitness guys not getting the messaging yet alerts every thing gives you your phone on your wrist other than that it's not sick tracy's wacht

I've had a Microsoft Band, an Android Wear watch , a Samsung Gear Fit, and of course the Sport. I have to see that this is, by far, the best smart watch that I've ever owned. I was curious how much I'd actually care about the fact that there are less apps for Tizen than there are for Android Wear, and I've got to say... I haven't noticed. The one app that I wish Tizen had was Google Keep. But that aside, the apps it does have work well, it looks really nice on my wrist, Samsung Pay works amazing with it, and the dial is an excellent way of moving around the UI. If you have a Samsung Phone and are looking for an attractive, functional smart watch that can also be used for fitness purposes, definitely give the Gear Sport some consideration!

So far, the best watch I've owned. Great battery life. Durable. Comfortable. Quick and responsive. My only complaint, I wish the vibrate feedback were stronger.

I bought this watch for my wife for Christmas she loved it the watch has a lot of futures its so easy to use and it looks great! I'm thinking of getting one for my self but this time Is gonna be the black one!
