I had this watch less than 3 months and never wore it in the water, not ONE time: I actually wrote a previous review, but looks like it never posted here! (shocking! LOL) --Charge started to fall off about a month after ownership. Not sure if it was an update issue or not??? --Received circular burn marks on my wrist!! One mark lasted over THREE weeks even though I switched the watch to my other wrist (hello, cancer!). --when I decided to take it back, after a mere maybe three months, BestBuy offered me a gift certificate since I purchased the (outrageously expensive) Geek Squad protection. --I could have sent the watch back for the manufacturer's warranty, but since it was a piece of TRASH that couldn't even keep an accurate step count, let alone stay charged or keep me healthy, I didn't even want it. --Ended up settling for the refund minus the Geek Squad amount. So in short, I lost $60.00 on a watch I had for almost three months, that I never even swam in since it didn't even make it to this summer!! They should have paid ME to wear that piece of junk!! --No more Samsung for me!! What a disappointment!!

I bought this for my wife. I thought it was going to be a like me S3. I should have spent a little more and gotten her the S3 also.

Adding words is difficult for one liner messages. Battery life is too short when in full mode. Synch is good with other devices

Still learning all the bells and whistles. Many functions, really no instructions provided. Nice upgrade from Samsung Gear fit 2.

This is a great try it's really fun when you first get it but you realize that it's not worth the price you pay for the features you get. Even though it's waterproof and you can wear it anywhere it's battery life is so short if you forget to charge it one night then it's like you don't have one at all. Would be nice to see a watch that can last longer than a day and a half and can do the basic functions of phone.

This watch is not water resistant. This product is false advertisement. It didn't even last in the shower , how is it going to last swimming?!? It broke and water damage is not covered. The repair cost more then the watch. This is theft!! Makes me want to go back to apple. This is embarrassing.

Every, and I mean every, update this device received reduced my battery life significantly. I ended up moving to the galaxy watch as a result. The watch itself is fine but I had to charge it more than I was wearing it by the time I moved on.

The watch will not display all text or email messages. It will alert to a new message, but will only show older ones. It will randomly vibrate with no new notifications or messages, which is very frustrating. The watch has a nice look and well balanced, but i am underwhelmed by the performance.

I have had this watch for a year and a half. The watch did awesome until the Galaxy watch came out. Once the Galaxy watch came out, I've had nothing but issues with it reading my heart rate accurately during workouts. It has often stated that my heart rate was around 55 beats per minute, when the elliptical was reading 150 bpm, but when I end my workout and return to the main screen it will start reading my heart rate accurately. This is actually the second Gear Sport that I've had do this. I returned the first unit, thinking it may be a defective unit. However, after having two units do the same thing, I will be switching to a different watch company. My wife really seems to like her Garmin, and it works awesome for heart rate and workout tracking. I would not recommend the Gear Sport to anyone who is really using it for working out and tracking the workouts, as it's hard to get an accurate cardio heart rate reading.
