If you need to watch videos in private this a good device. Unfortunately Oculus apps are very very limited. No access your movie library or HBO and others

Purchased the Samsung Virtual Reality Headset as a gift for my daughter. She loves it and had no difficulty setting it up and using it immediately.

I enjoyed my first Samsung Headset. But when I upgraded to my Note 8, I need the new headset. This new one does not disappoint! I love the Controller!

This is such a dramatic improvement from the first generation. Not having the controller built in the side of the eye wear is why I love this product.

Prime example of hardware being ahead of the software. The physical execution and function is awesome but limited by the applications available. Sure you can party trick and pass it around to see people's reaction but after the novelty wears off your really just left with an awesome content consuming devices. It really shines in that aspect. Being able to block out the world for movies TV and even YouTube is where it excels. Theres a few worthwhile games/experiences but they wear off rather quickly.

Bought this to see if VR is as great as everyone is saying. I absolutely enjoy this headset. It has me saving for the PlayStation VR.

Bought this for my son for Christmas we played with it some Christmas day it seemed really cool.

These are the best VR glasses i have owned but they only work with galaxy s8 s9 and s10. The work well and will fit most heads.

This has been a fun item for my grandchildren and their friends. I've also enjoyed using it, but it can become very addictive. The downside is that I bought one when I bought my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. When I upgraded my phone to the S9+, I had to buy another one because the new phone didn't fit the old GEAR. I guess that's considered to just be a good busness practice for the maker. I did have a hard time linking the blue tooth hand controller to my phone. Bottom line is that it is very enjoyable and fun item to own.

Samsung Gear is my first VR device. Using it with Note 8. The physical setup was easy. The remote is convenient. It does require a lot of downloaded software, but this is to be expected. It does take some time to adjust to using it without feeling somewhat disoriented. Picture sharpness is not good enough to use for a long time. If you want to jump into VR without spending a lot of money, this is a good way to go.

Not much of variety of games. The screen is very clear. Takes so much of your battery!

Had the gearvr for mt S7 and it cool. Wasn't sure about this one but it's just as good or better, especially with the remote

I had a version of this with my Note 7, I am glad that I came back to the Samsung GearVR! paired with Oculus it cant be beat!

The unit can be a bit cumbersome to manipulate. Programs and apps are becoming increasingly available. Many are quite good.
