Gear vr was ok for it's time vr has evolved and grown substantially I guess if you cant spend alot buy this over the cheap walmart no named ones

I was really on the fence with this and wanted to see what the hype was about.. I wasn't too sure if it was a waisted effort or if I would just be let down by the whole experience. To my surprise the visual experience was not that bad at all! If you're in the market for something like this it worth it!

I was excited about this set going on sale but it disappointed in the fact that it was not able to produce the end product as advertised and additional content caused extra Money.

I was waiting for this product for a long time! Finally I got this...Its really nice product, Since lot of people used it already, I have nothing to say more about it, If you looking for VR Headset Samsung VR is the product you can go with it as far as you want...

Had the previous unit for galaxy s7 edge so i figured they would have made major improvements by now. Nope, same old unit with the same old problems, poor resolution, foggy screens from just a little bit of body heat and a very clumsy interface. When you do finally watch something your left wondering what it would have looked like with improved resolution. In a world of 4k hdr these video streams lacking in quality. Buy if you must, but don't expect too much.

Bought this shortly after I got my Samsung S9. If you haven't experienced virtual reality, this is a great and (relatively) inexpensive way to get introduced to VR. Plenty of VR content available....both free and paid content apps. A lot of fun....highly recommend!

Good quality, Samsung products have not disappointed. Although it is a little difficult to clean the lenses or keep dust from getting on them, which definitely affects the viewing quality of the VR

I use the VR headset to show clients renderings and 3D perspectives and it works very well. Have not used for gaming, but seems like it would be great.

Pretty neat product to introduce you to VR and what it can do. However, games are still limited to being short quips of VR instead of actual games like the more expensive VR systems.

This headset is good for beginners. The sharpness could be better, but not bad. Overheating caused shorter than desired viewing times. Sometimes I had to disconnect several times to get started. Very Frustrating! Some free videos and many for discount was enough to get started. Wish I could have invested in a more advanced unit that connected to computer, freeing up my phone. That will be my next purchase. VR is exciting and fun. I have not downloaded many videos cause it would use up too much space. But, overall it's ok for starters.

I use it for my samsung a lot. I would be careful using it though because it will hurt your eyes. Other than that, Samsung did a great job. The apps are eye popping and they feel real.

It's my familiy's first time using VR goggles and they work great. The set up takes a little time, but overall they provide good entertainment for my family.

Bought this for my husband as a gift and he loves it. Definitely worth it. He likes the video quality, says it’s great. Can stay on this for hours.

It works great with the Samsung S8 and does not overheat. The remote stick adds to the fun and makes it easier to navigate the screens. Amazing tech from a guy that grew up with Atari1600 technology. :)

This is an amazing tool for people who want to see virtual reality you really go into an extraordinary world the graphics of an amazing the device does its work very well the control is verry good

Got this one as a gift but things didn't work out like I intended so it was returned for a different one, was easy to get started.

They are a good fit and not that heavy. My 8 year old loves to use them and they are light enough for her.
