I love the concept and some of the apps but since I get motion sickness easily, a lot of the apps make me a little woozy. Also, I have to take the case off of my phone to mount it to the device. Sorry.

Controller came out defected. Struggled to make best of it, just gave me a huge headache and strained my eyes. Glad came out the defected kids probably would been blind by now.

Could not actually use the vr longer than 5 minutes at a time due to the phone overheating.

I've managed to avoid any social media presence all these years. I may be the only person out here that doens't "facebook, tweet or emogeize" ever. Given the nature of the internet these days I'm super glad I made that choice. These glasses won't work without a "facebook" account. Oh well!

Just a heads up if you have a Samsung S8 Active, the Samsung VR headset is NOT compatible with this phone series at all. I would love to give a better review, but cannot.

The unit requires you to take off otter box cover. It works okay but ruins the tight fit of your case from all that on and off.

I didn't expect much from this item so when I first tried it out I was very impressed. Used it with my new Samsung Galaxy S9+ and picture quality was pretty darn good. First thing I watched was the college final game of March Madness. You feel like you are at the game. You can change your perspective for where you are (teams bench, under basket, in the stands or sideline front row). While watching it's fun to look up or back or just turn around a full 360 degrees and you feel like you are really there. Some other interesting material on the site of Oculus like under water deep with sharks swimming by you. Graphics are great. At first, it was a bit jittery but that was only because I was using a 2.4 connection to my wifi network. When I switched to the 5G band, all was perfect. I did have a few black spots on the lens but hoping to clean off and hoping they are just dust specs. The audio on the headset is pretty good but would probably be much better with a nice set of wireless earphones. It's very cool using the 360 degree view and some titles are also in 3D. For about $130 you get a lot of fun. The movies in 360 degrees are pretty cool too. Highly recommend if you have one of the newer Galaxy phones sold in the last 2 years.

These had the worst picture quality I've seen in a long time, looked like the TV's I had in the early 60's

Was trying to get a VR for my son's computer... this is not the one to get! This is for a phone...

My Samsung Note 8 doesn't stay securely in place and constantly disconnects from the headset.

I would recommend this item to my friends that have Samsung phones or tablets

First off, I DO like the Samsung VR. However, there are some SERIOUS problems.... first off.... even with brightness turned to almost zero on my phone, and everything turned off that I can turn off, it still overheats my Samsung G7. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes 40. Either way, my phone gets hot like a firecracker, which cannot be good for it. From reading, this is a very common issue with the S7 for which Samsung has no answer. Second problem is that there just isn't a whole lot of decent games for this thing. It's a blast at first, but after you've ridden 100 roller coasters, you're ready for something more..... and there just isn't a lot of quality stuff to chose from (note I say QUALITY). There are a ton of games available for free, but most of them are written by what appears to be 'newcomers' to the vr programming scene. Very poor graphics, not very exciting. Other than coasters, your #1 types of games available are games where you have to go in and find clues. I'm not a big "search for clues" type of person. If they can get some better games and get the phone to stop over heating, I will revisit this review and amend it. But for now, it's just not that great of a purchase. Fun for the first week, then it goes in the closet.....

Hello y’all I highly recommend this it’s awesome ! I just got this yesterday and I had so much fun. You can even Surf the Internet. There’s so much to do. I’m also enjoying the RollerCoasters. This is my first time experienceing VR and I gotta say, it’s one heck of a great trip. And Samsung is a great company. I also like that their products are great quality and offer lots of features. I also highly recommend their Note 8 and their tab S 3 that includes an S Pen. These 2 products I discovered have smart view. This mirrors your device through Google Chrome Castro your TV.

It's a comfortable headset, and upon first impressikn, appeared like it would work well. I purchased this for my Galaxy Note 8, fully expecting it to be a great experience since they updated the headset specifically for it, but boy was I wrong. The controller itself and the main interface for the Oculus app worked well, but whenever I would try to open Netflix VR, it would work for about 5 seconds, then crash. And every time u tried to open an app after that, it would sit on a black screen. And not do anything for about a minute before telling me it couldn't open. Long story short, it may work well with the older phones, but currently has issued with the Note I, so I would stay away if that's what you have until better support arrives.

it's not as fancy as a rift or vive, but for the price, it's a pretty sweet piece of equipment. i would give it five stars, but the controller needs to be recalibrated pretty regularly. this is to be expected without outside sensors monitoring the controller's position at all times. even if you don't like vr games, this is a great device for watching movies on a long plane/train/automobile ride.

Got this for my wife she wanted to test virtual reality and she loves it.

Samsung dropped support for this a while back now. Was nice while it lasted.

I love having these products in my home and I love it

Purchased this from Best buy and it worked for about 30 days then completely stopped working and connecting to my Note 8. Not worth it, especially considering it was only used 4 or 5 times before breaking.
