I chose this watch over the Fitbit Chris HR because for the price, this does so much more. It paired effortlessly with my Galaxy 5. Easy to set up and learn. I have little issue with the heart rate monitor. I find I get best results during running when I turn the watch to the inside of my arm. I find it pretty accurate as well. Pedometer is good compared to my previous Fitbit. They vary greatly in calories burned. Fitbit will report I burned a lot, and the Gear fit will report I burned less than 100 for the day. I don't really care for the difference as I don't watch how many I burned. I am more involved in time, speed, and distance. Battery life can be pretty short, but my Gear fit is often connectin and disconnecting as I walk around work. My phone is in my locker and I am moving in and out of range all day. In all, I love my Gear fit and am super pleased with the performance.

Works great with note 3 and galaxy s4. Very little power drain on phone, lots of customization. Battery drain on watch noticeable with bright background, but that's pretty straightforward. I really like the black background with neon watch numbers anyway so I was getting over 3 days battery life. Pretty accurate with the pedometer and heart rate monitor, but I have hairy arms so I couldn't do it without flipping the watch around to my bottom of my wrist. Can access notifications for tons of applications and media playback from the watch was super convenient. Both people I bought it for were super happy to get them.

Does everything I expect it to. Tracks steps, exercise, heart rate, sleep and also provides any notifications you choose from your phone. I have it notify on phone calls, text messages, emails and meeting reminders. Definitely recommend it.

Having recently getting a Note 5 phone, it was time to update my Nike Fuel band. it connected easily looks good , just not sure how accurate it. Maybe i am use to the simplicity of the Nike Band, and need to get use to the size of the GEAR. i like the heart rate monitor. Plus i think the app on the phone uses a little too much battery for my liking.

It is fun and all of the functions such as heart rate work great. If you are looking for something better than fit bit for a similar cost this is it.

From the time that I put it on, I have really enjoyed it ! The Gear Fit measures my heart beat, the Steps that I take, alerts me about my email and my text messages. I only wished that I could answer the text messages with more than a yes or no , or I call you back answer.

I use the device to let me know that I get enough walking distance a day. I also like the heart rate measure.

I bought this smartwatch because I needed one with a heart rate monitor and at the time, Fitbit didn't have one. I will say I'm very satisfied with the watch. It does all the same fitness calculations the Fitbit Flex can do but more. With other features like call, text, email, and app controls it certainly feels like an upgrade from the FitBit. Only thing to be aware of is the battery life. With minimal usage, I get 3 maybe 4 days before I need to charge it up again. However, charging doesn't take long. And although it's Geek Squad Refurbished, it came like new. No complaints with Samsung or Geek Squad. The smart watch is good for beginners of the wearables.

The HR is nice and it syncs to my phone well, but I wish it was more intuitive with sleep, exercising, etc without me having to turn it on. I would forget all the time.
