It was supposed to be a certified refurbished product, and it was dead on arrival. The product itself is awesome, just don't get a refurbished one. BTW, the packaging was also very disappointing.

I guess I got lucky and got mine for $259.99. This thing is brand spanking new looking. Not a blemish at all. Glad I bought refurbished and will be buying all my future devices refurbished from geek squad they do fantastic work! Great watch also love mine!

I have owned plenty of refurbished products over the years that have been satisfactory to be called refurbished. This was not the case with this refurbished watch, it was heavily scratched, and disgustingly dirty. I found dirt and grime from the previous owner as he/she had just took it off after wearing it for an extended period of time. It's hard to believe that they would not clean the item prior to working on it. I would be extremely embarrassed if I sent out a product looking like this to a customer, common decency would be to at least give it a cleaning before shipping it out. This shows lack of concern for the consumer approval and lack of quality in presentation.

I'm not here to review the watch. There are plenty of reviews about it. This is only about the refurbished watch I bought from Best Buy. Other than it did not come in the original box, everything is perfect. The charger works fine. There is no sign of use and battery life is good. If you know you want the watch you can save some $$$ by buying this refurbished. I'm happy with best buy and yes, the watch is really good.

The Gear S3 Frontier is everything I expected. Even though the product was refurbished, it looks and feels brand new. I would have given 5 stars but it didn't come in the original box. Bottom line... I'm very happy with the purchase.

The watch is excellent - a great upgrade from my S2. I wanted the S3 because the new Galaxy Watch actually removed features I use! I ordered a refurb from another site and the watch looked nearly new, but wasn't set to the proper region so I returned it. The refurb from Best Buy works great, but looks super scuffed up, like someone who uses their hands a lot for work owned it. The screen has a few small scratches that disappear once the display lights up. Overall - saving $120 in exchange for a few scratches is no big deal! It's not as if I wouldn't have scuffed it up over time myself anyway.

Upgraded from Gear S. Solid watch nice size love the rotating bezel.

This is not a review of the watch, but on the "Refurbished" process. The Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is a GREAT smartwatch. I ended up buying a new one from Best Buy and could not be happier. However, I will never buy a Geek Squad Certified Refurbished item again based on this experience. The watch was NASTY. "Sweat Dirt" and dead skin stuck to the underside of the bands. Watch was just really dirty and well used. Is cleaning and replacing the bands not part of being refurbished? I'm not sure what they did to refurbish but it was it unacceptable. All the other items just in a zip lock bag and tossed in the box. The price difference between new and refurbished is not worth it.

I've purchase refurb from many places (Amazon, GameStop, etc) and never had any issues. I should've heed the warnings about Best Buy's refurbs. I got this watch and noticed that it kept turning off on it's own. I thought it was a software glitch and updated, spent time customizing...then it turned off again. I flip the watch to find the back popping out slightly, causing the watch to "die". Like other reviewers mentioned, this is a simple check of the watch before shipping...does it turn on, is the casing intact, etc. I called for a replacement...let's hope this is functional.

This watch blows away Apple's watch. The screen is completely customizable, the quality of the screen looks a lot better and brighter. It even works pretty well with the iPhone. And the construction of the watch is rock solid. So why the 2 star review? The battery in mine lasted 2 years. It's not user replaceable and Samsung wants $75 to replace it. So for $300 I got 2 years use out of it. Not a good watch value in my opinion.
