I’m sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with your new HW-B450 Soundbar stopped working so soon.
We recommend to re-initialize the Soundbar. First turn On the Soundbar, then press both the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the unit simultaneously until the display shows "INIT", then release. The Subwoofer will not lose connection to the Soundbar from doing this.

To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE LITE.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics by pressing and holding the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds, make sure you also set the SOUND MODE to STANDARD.

Samsung soundbar was defective.

The sound was excellent until it simply stopped working. My Samsung soundbar would never stay powered on for more than a few minutes before it would turn off. Countless unplugging and plugging back in only to have the soundbar shut off every time lead me to return it today.
