Doesn’t sink well with monitors only has the fiber optics output so there’s a delay with people speaking and there voice coming out of the speakers. Installation crew were supposed to call me back but haven’t

I was really impressed with this Samsung 2.1ch Soundbar! This set includes a soundbar and a wireless subwoofer that links to the soundbar. It also includes a remote and an optical cable. I really liked that this set up also includes wall mounting brackets for the soundbar! Typically, I have seen that most of the time you have to buy your own mounting brackets. Samsung includes this in the box which is really nice! The build quality feels pretty solid for both the soundbar and the subwoofer. After opening the box, I plugged in both the soundbar and the subwoofer. Each came with their own separate power cord. After turning on the soundbar with the included remote, I paired the soundbar with my smartphone via bluetooth. I was totally impressed with the sound! It was amazing! The included remote lets you control the levels of both the soundbar and the subwoofer individually. The other cool thing is that, once you push a button on the remote, the soundbar has a small LED screen in the center that is typically hidden unless you push a button. You can change the input on the soundbar with the remote or the buttons on top of the soundbar. If you are looking for a great soundbar, I highly recommend this one! The sound is great and you won't be disappointed!

Samsung’s Sound Bar Model HW-B450/ZA 2.1ch with DOLBY AUDIO/ DTS 2.0 CHANNEL is a very begginer, cost effective, simple to use and simple to connect. 2.1 Audio: what this means is a term used for sound systems that means there are “2” speakers in the sound bar and the “1” means there is one Sound Woofer box dedicated to providing the bass in the audio. Audio Quality: since this sound bar has only two speakers, the sound is technically only stereo sound, it does do a good job at providing “Virtual” 3-D surround sound, what this means is, if you are playing a video game for example, and someone starts shooting you from the left hand side, you’ll be able to hear the shooting coming from your left. If the enemy is on the floor above you, you’ll be able to distinguish that and it will sound like they are above you etc. Conclusion: very good sound bar with pretty good sound for the price, if you’re looking for true surroundsound, or something with more power, and/or speakers, then look elsewhere, but if you just want sound, that is similar, but more powerful than what your TV can produce, then this sound bar is for you.

Speaker stopped working after 4 months, don’t know why. Just stopped working.

I was REALLY excited Bout this sound bar. I had previously eschewed the soundbar ecosystem for quite some time, because of the quality of sound, and the inability to run a wire in the space I wanted to use it in. Cue the Samsung B450. I trust Samsung, they make good stuff! I have a bunch of Samsung components. I noted the comments about the age of TV that this could work with, but it never occurred to me that there would be limitations... after all audio is audio right? Well if you've got a less than 2 year old Samsung TV, good news, you can stop reading. If you're looking to hook this up to another TV, then read on. This soundbar has great sound. Love the 3 front channels, not a lot of bass, but crisp and clean and filling. Also there are some great built in modes for dialog enhancement. But this soundbar doesn't do any A/V switching, and doesn't connect to your video device. It's Bluetooth or SPDIF/Optical only. That's right, limited connection options. Because there's no way for it to do video passthrough, and therefore an on screen display, everything is handled with the remote and a criminally undersized segmented LCD display. I find myself needing the manual handy just to navigate the modes and how to get there. This is not optimal. Granted it's not that big of a deal at the price point, but man it's aggravating. I am able to connect it to a roku and an apple tv streaming devices as a bluetooth speaker, and it sends the full dolby channels, but I still have to contend with the delay, which is also not optimal for using it with a screen. Especially a large one. There ARE audio extractors that will pull an SPDIF signal from an HDMI cable and let you do passthrough/hook it up to any source, but this doesn't solve the lack of an on screen display and means you have to spend another $20+ on getting connected. had this product been marketed $50-$75 higher and included on screen menus and HDMI passthrough, I would gladly have paid the difference, as the audio is great.

it was not so easy to sync to tv. Had to return it.

Really good sound and easy to set up. A really good value for the money.

The sound quality is head and shoulders above the small speakers in the TV. Rich, sometimes overbearing bass but this is adjustable. The sound modes help you tune the bar to your liking. The BIG issue with this soundbar is that after about an hour it stops working. This thing is garbage! I have done everything I can think of to get it to stay on. The only thing that works is to unplug the soundbar for a few minutes and plug it back in. That only lets it work for a few more minutes. My advise is to avoid this particular model and go with another. I have a more expensive model from Samsung that is connected to a different TV in the house and it works flawlessly. Samsung needs to reengineer this model and rerelease it.

The Samsung HW-B450/ZA is a pretty basic multipurpose soundbar, it touts some fairly sizeable wattage figures. The unit consists of a basic soundbar and wireless subwoofer. Setup was easy and I connected to my TV via an optical cable. The soundbar and subwoofer connected without any issues, I did not have to pair it. Once setup the device powered up automatically sensing playback on my TV via the optical connection. In any case the soundbar also connects via Bluetooth or HDMI and also has a USB port if you want to plugin audio media. It can decode Dolby Digital, AAC, MP3, WAV OGG FLAC and AIFF files Some of the features noted in the documentation are Powerful Bass, powerful wireless subwoofer, Bass Boost Mode, Voice Enhance and Adaptive Sound Lite automatically analyses audio to deliver optimized sound based on what you are watching. It comes with a remote with a few different controls on it, the unit also has the ability to connect wireless to surround speakers with is compatible with the SWA-9200S/XY unit. As for how the unit sounds, not bad but also not great. The subwoofer seemed to struggle with providing a lot of bass. At on time I had to go put my hand on the subwoofer to detect any output. Depending on content you may or may not really care for the low-end sound reproduction. I did notice that voices were clear when watching dialog centric content. As for music reproduction it does an mediocre job, not punchy (also clear). Overall, the sound bar is adequate, it is towards the bottom of what I would consider a lower end soundbar. There are better choices for the money, nothing stands out with this unit. Pros: - Produces sound - Voice clarity feature seems to work, dialog sounded clear and able to be made out easily. - Decent remote - USB input for flash drives mp3 or other compatible files - HDMI, Optical and Bluetooth connectivity Cons: - Marginal performance

My family and l love the surround sound that it gives out while watching our favorite shows and movies. Great sound can’t go wrong with this product.

Love my sound system for my new TV and my new apartments. Just need to get a t v stand up sound is great though

Great price with rich clear sounds. Wish it had a switch to only turn on with it's remote. Not with the tv remote.

This my first purchase of samsung soundbars. I like the sound of this model. It compatible with my Q-Series TV! Sub woolfer works great! Nice soft bass comming from it. Star Wars Attack of the clones sounds spectacular on this system. Even old school Top Gun!

Sound bar is super. A breeze to set up. Glad we made the decision to give it a try. Great value.
