The sound quality and broadast were just as we'd hoped. Perfect for our space. Also pleased with how inconspicuously the bar fits under the TV screen. Haven't really tested the dedicated control as we use the TV control as a master.

Thank you for your review of Samsung's HW-Q600A Soundbar. We appreciate you sharing your in-store experience with us and apologize for any misinformation you were given. You may want to consider providing feedback directly to the Best Buy store where you made your purchase.
This model is compatible with the SWA-9100S Rear Speaker kit from Samsung. Compatibility with the SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speaker kit, along with support for SpaceFit sound, begins with soundbar model HW-Q700A or above.
If you are experiencing slow startup, or a delay in the remote response, you may want to try updating the firmware if available. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can download the firmware onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar. Connect the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.
Should this not resolve the issue, or an update is not available, you may want to try to re-initialize the soundbar. With the Soundbar on, press the + and - (Volume) buttons on the body at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar and should only be performed if you have tried all other troubleshooting steps. You will need to re apply any audio adjustments previously performed.

Sound bar works great with my Samsung QN90A tv. Hook it up via HDMI arc (HDMI 3 port). Also bought the 2 rear facing speakers as a separate purchase. I did notice that my sound bar had an update (you have to download this from Samsungs website via a usb). Once that got installed, sound bar was even better.
