Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-Q65T Soundbar with Wireless Rear Speakers. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the sound quality and appreciate you sharing your thoughts with the surround sound system.
By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume. However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.

For some reason, after my first few times using it, I now have to unplug and replug the soundbar in for it to turn on. The mounting holes are on the bottom and very far apart so it is hard to find mounts that fit it and the rear speakers are only somewhat wireless.

I actually wasn't looking for a soundbar with rear speakers but the one I wanted wasnt in stock so I went one model up. The system sounds great and the bass is sufficient, I don't know why so many reviews complain about no bass. The sound beam doesnt seem to do anything, I only hear sound from the front 3 drivers. I can't comment on Q Symphony as I dont have a matching samsung tv to go with this. If you dont need atmos but want a 5.1 bar setup, this one is great.

Unfortunately one of the rear speakers didn't work. I had set it up but had to leave. My uncle and my dad tried everyrhing and we're on the phone with support for awhile they said but they ended up exchanging the speaker
