Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While this isn’t Dolby Atmos capable, it still sounds great when listening to Apple Music “Made for Spatial Audio” and most action films that are Dolby Atmos such as Midway, F9 and other action films as the front speakers are “up-firing”. There are certainly more expensive options that sound better, but this is an excellent choice for the price.

Really like the wireless connection from the sound bar to the sub and rear speakers. I purchased this when it was on sale for a very good price, I would have probably never purchased this at regular price but once setting it up and the quality realized it is worth it.

It has DTS and surround options which will satisfy needs for most of the movies and shows that are out today. In few years I might upgrade to sound bar that has ATMOS but for now this will do great job

I decided to look for a better deal for a 7.1 or 9.1 then I Stumble this samsung q65t in bestbuy. I really love the sound quality and the power is very amazing. with the 7.1 you can every thing around you. almost a movie theater experience.

The unit does sound great while watching movies/tv shows. I like the dedicated center channel for vocals. I'm giving it four stars because of two reasons: one, I agree with some other reviewers in that you will not get that big "boom" during explosions, chaotic sense during gun fights and big action sequences (my Polk honestly sounds a lot better). It's almost like Metallica's And Justice for All album where the bass is turned down. And two, I can't get the rear speakers to work. They've worked once and since then nothing. I'm not expecting a full on home theater sound but if the speakers are there I'd like to at least have them work. Overall, it's not a bad upgrade from what I had before.

I found it to be the most cost effective for the sound quality. The surround speakers are a worthy necessity in the system.

I needed to call tech services to come by and see if it was me or the product. The technician helped me to set it up but after he left started to encounter a number of problems. Does not start when TV is turned on. Need to start TV, then push button on sound bar to turn on then TV turns off and need to push HDMI button and then it will start. Need to stand within three feet of the sound bar to adjust sound and for all other controls except TV channel changing. I was hoping for a little easier operation,

Semi truck surround sound

The cab is a party house! The sizes fit perfectly and the surround sound is amazing. I got it on sale which makes it even better. It’s worth the $400 price tag. The only thing is the remote is hard to open. Had to watch a YouTube video to figure it out.

Connected to my tv right away with no effort. I haven’t checked to see if I can make the rears louder

Only issue is that when in game mode, I can’t hear the rear speakers at all, and all the sound comes from the sound bar only, and sub feels slightly muted.

It was just not powerful enough to fill the room. Moved it to a smaller room and it’s perfect. Love watching movies with the surround sound.

Have you tried the various Sound Modes offered with the HW-Q65T? You can choose from modes like Standard, Surround, Game Pro, DTS Virtual:X, or Adaptive Sound mode, which optimizes sound based on each scene and lets you hear voices clearly at low volumes. You can find these by pressing the Sound Mode button on your remote.
